Matt Nathanson opened and it was decent, the average age of the crowd was probably 38 😂 I guess it was a concert originally slated for 2020 but was cancelled, so it was packed. Unfortunately, half an hour in we got hit with a brutal storm so the show was paused for about 50 minutes, really killed the momentum. However they did resume for another 50 and virtually the entire crowd came back and got into it even though we lost about 40 minutes of the concert. Rob Thomas is a great singer and performer and the crowd was completely invested so overall my fiancée and I had a nice time. Very odd experience since it was mostly millennials reliving their musical roots but it was nice to see people enjoying themselves!

    1. Shaggy - It Wasn't Me ft Rikrok
Again, some stuff in here is great, out number 1 is probably better cause It Wasn't Me is a classic but then we have so much just, random pop chaff. Probably stand by Wheatus and Kylie too, those songs are super fun.

Dido's Thank You blew up *because* of Stan -- first coming out in 1998 on a movie soundtrack and then being re-released in late 2000 to capitalize on the mainstream attention brought by the Eminem single. So while I guess saying "before this song was [sampled on Stan], it was its own thing" is technically accurate, it does omit the fact that nobody really knew or cared about it before that sample, and that the only reason it appears on this list is because of the sample
