Good morning, greetings from Austria CO Carinthia. I just saw you bought a grassland harrow from Hatzenbichler. Is a great company very close to me, nice to see that such devices come to Ireland! Kind regards !!
Last time my dad went shopping he came home with a brand new new Holland cx7.80 combine Those Vicon balers are amazing balers we’ve had one do 10 years and all we done is pick up tines and 1 new knotter
My brother had Krone 6 rotor tedders since 04 and they do a great job if you keep the forward speed sensible and never lift it when turning on the headlands unless you really want lumps. If you have to store it outside fold it out otherwise the rain will run into the sealed bearings when the seals get old . They are a bit wide on a narrow road my boss has a 8 rotor which is only slightly wider with smaller rotor s and folds narrower good night father Phil
Best of luck with it. I’d say you’ll probably end up swapping that air seeder out for something like an apv. I’ve worked one before years ago it was mounted on a rotospike it’s biggest issue was rain if it got wet at all it would jam up the metering roller it’s other little problem was it didn’t like dust if you were sowing in really dusty conditions it would block up the fan’s outlet
Nice machines Phil, never mind how old that tedder is, if it works it works and it's unbelievably straight for what must be a mid 80's machine!! Adrian up in ifarmwefarm will be very envious of the extra width 😂
Funny I thought the place looked familiar. I travelled over to Ireland in 2013 with a mate and ended up in Hamilton's yard. Some amount of machinery about. Just had a memory pop up on my Facebook about it 😂
@@casefarmgirl2279 Phil has my name , address , phone number, email etc from my meat order he can contact the guards to check me out if he feels fearful after reading your lies Mr John McGee
I thought are old green krone was old be careful with the joints where it folds we have had it hit small lump and going slow it skipped and bent all the joints up
In 1993, KRONE introduced the KTL paint treatment plant and changed its colours from red and beige to green and beige. In 1989 The rotary tedder and the rotary rake complete the KRONE grassland product range.

Great bit of kit. Used one for 6 years now. Been spot on.
I thought maybe you were going to look at more livestock, but you got some new "toys" for the boys to use. Going make your lives so much easier.
You won't go wrong with the Opico, great Harrow I had one though it was only 2m.
Don't know about the seeder but I don't see why it won't be great.
Gonna be honest you may find that the Krone Tedder may lump the grass a fair bit more than other brands just what we found
Be side us at home Phil fair play 💪💪

Great video phil, That is a fine yard I'd say ye were walking for a bit again ye seen everything may give it a visit sometime.
The Berlin Wall came down in 1989 so I presume your Tedder pre dates that , but with luck it should work away regardless of its age
