As Michio Kaku says, "AI is nothing but playback from a tape recorder." I used a free program called Blender - www.blender.org/. It's 3D software that allows you to animate. I have been learning how to use it in retirement for the last couple of years. Blender is math heavy though. I use a sine wave to animate the bending of the wings for example. Blender handles all the math needed for the cloth dress and the hair. This video took 13 hours to render on my PC. The audio from the separate tracks on Dead.net - www.dead.net/playingintheband is used to animate the lower jaws of the singers and the hands of the musicians. The rugs are kaleidoscopes that are simple to make and the audio changes the shapes as the kaleidoscope rotates. The Dead used something similar on the big screens behind the stage at their concerts in the 90's.
