- After watching one of Lindsey's (from Lindsey's Life N Style) lastest videos, I had finally heard so much about Mrs.Meyer's cleaning products that I HAD to run to the store and get some to try out! While I was at the store, I thought I would also try out Method Floor Cleaner while I was at it! So continue watching to see what I thought!

I love Mrs. Meyers and Method. The Meyers comes in a lot of scents and the refill concentrate is very economical. The seasonal scents are my favorite. I buy them all and use them throughout the year. Method also makes a wood spray cleaner for furniture with the same almond scent. I love it!! :)
S Hartman So true about the concentrate. once Jamie tries all the different scents she can buy her favorite in the concentrate. the concentrate bottle gives the amount for making a gallon amount butch did the math to figure out how much to put in my spray bottle and it was only about-face tablespoon. I bet it's only a teaspoon to refill the Mrs. Meyers brand spray bottle since its smaller. I can usually find the concentrate for around $8 and it last me months.
Thanks so much! I definitely will look into the refills once I figure out my favorite scents! Someone else mentioned the seasonal scents and I'm pretty sure I'll be a sucker for those! Lol! House Cleaning is actually a great workout! I clean homes and I've lost over 40 pounds in a year. I don't diet and I don't go to the gym, just work in my cleaning business 😁, professional cleaning for 30 minutes burns 150 calories in a 155 pound person, more if you weight more of course. I burn about 1,800 calories a day just working 6 hours (part time). I eat A LOT, I mean a lot!! but instead of gaining weight I lost because my body uses every bit of what I eat, oh and that "feel good, energized" feeling is endorphin and dopamine kicking in, vigorous activity will trigger them, endorphin will ease tiredness and dopamine will make you feel great, happy! 😁😀👍💪

Mrs. Meyers Honeysuckle smells SO GOOD!!! Method floor cleaner in almond smells so good! I use it on laminate not sure if its my favorite for cleaning my particular type of floors but I love the small as almond is one of my favorite scents. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Jamie's Journey They release "Special Edition" scents all the time. Peppermint around Christmas smelled sooooo good and the Peony around spring...amazing!
You forgot one of the best parts! These brands are not only natural, but *cruelty free*. So no kitties, puppies or other sweet furry creatures are hurt in the making of the products, which to ME is the most important thing when buying a product.

Hello Jamie, I use a lot of Mrs. Meyers and Method Products and I really like them. I was so glad you tried the tub and tile because that is one that I haven't tried yet and I was really wondering how it was. THS that. One of my favorite is the Method All Purpose cleaner I like all the smells but really didn't care for the grapefruit. I mainly use the cucumber 🥒. But I like the seasonal scents also. I'm going to try the Mrs. Meyers spray in lavender to see how I like it. Love a good smelling house 🏡I hope you and your family have a great weekend and thanks again for the review.

Ok this video is old so my comment may get lost but about the bona. I have ceramic wood tile. Do I need the wood cleaner or tile cleaner for my floors (the bona one)

I have dark hardwood as yourself and just purchased the method cleaner. I'm glad I found this review. I can't wait to use it later today lol
I use equal parts dawn/ vinegar for my shower walls and shower doors .,, I just let spray and leave for 15 min and then clean as I shower ... no harsh smell . And it's cheap

Jamie's Journey I have done it for years .. tilex and the other chemicals make it too hard for me to breathe ... you may need a few times to get it completely off but once you do upkeep is just once a week and just wiping no scrubbing .... good luck 👍🏻
Dawn is slippery in the shower! I like MrsMeyers and Method Lovely mix with some anti- bacterial Fabuloso (yellow) Then running hot water Wala
What kind of cloths to use with Mrs Myers
The best thing I have found to use for the shower is equal parts white vinegar and Dawn original dish soap. Heat the vinegar in the microwave and mix the two in a spray bottle. Spray on shower/tub and let set for about 30 min. It works great without the heavy fumes.
I've heard of using vinegar and dawn in the shower but I've never heard of heating it up! That's actually a great idea! Thanks for letting me know!
Ellen Swatzell that's what I use but I don't heat the vinegar and I also add essential oils for fragrance
I have tried both and I prefer method. Method smells so much better and my floors are so much cleaner with the method than anything else I’ve ever tried. I even use the laundry cleaning supplies and they are the best. I make my own laundry detergent and the inscent boosters with the my homemade dryer sheets make my clothes smell so good. Plus I have two little boys and they have NEVER broken out with method the way they have with other laundry detergents.
Not only does Mrs. Meyers & Method products smell great; they work awesomely well, too! 💎✨💖✨

Mrs. Myers tub and tile is really good spray everything down with it . Walk away do other things, come back wipe and see what a good cleaner it is. The only product I don't like by Mrs Myers is glass cleaner. It leaves streaks. Love your channel😊💕

Hello, Jamie! I wish I could go to my nearest Target and get the round squeeze bottles of scented Mrs. Meyer's liquid dish soap so I could smell the scents at my home. Besides rinsing the dishes, I could use the soap for rinsing my hands. I don't even online shop for those bottles. I just wish I could personally get either 1 bottle or 2 bottles at once so I could try the scents.
What vacuum/steam cleaner do you use for your floors? I need one of these!!!! ASAP 🤩

What mop is that? Is that a steam mop? Do you spritz the floor cleaner on the floor and mop it up with the steam mop? Never tried that method! Interesting.
It is a steam mop! That's exactly what I do! Spray the cleaner on the floor and then go over it with the mop!
2 questions.. does Mrs Meyers disinfect? Also will it take away the shine from my quartz countertops?
I don't believe it disinfects. When I need to disinfect, I use a cleaner mixed with rubbing alcohol and water together. I'm not sure how it will work on quartz countertops because I've just used it on granite. I'm sorry I can't help you more!
When using a steam mop, do you have to use a cleaner? I thought it cleaned with the steam. I was thinking of getting one and I am curious.
They just use water and disenfect by the hot water! I love them!

Did you use the method hard wood cleaner with a shark steam mop? If so could you recommend a steam mop?
I did use the Method hardwood cleaner with my shark steam mop. I really, really like my Shark Steam Mop so I would definitely recommend that. I've been using it for about 6 years and it's still holding up and doing a great job. I only squirt the cleaner directly on the floor, though, and then just use the steam mop to go over it. You don't need to use a cleaner if you use a steam mop, I just feel like it gives it some extra cleaning! But only put water in the actual steam mop.

I've used the Lysol Free bathroom cleaning, Scrubbing Bubbles and the Seventh Generation bathroom cleaner!
I was just wondering about steam mopping. do u have any problems with glue or tiles unsticking or on wood warping? I have no idea how they even work but I noticed several utubers using steam mops
I haven't had any problems, whatsoever! I used it in our last home which had laminate flooring. In this house, we just have ceramic and hardwood so I've used it on multiple surfaces without any problems!

Try Grove Collaborative to get your Mrs. Meyers and Method products! I LOVE them & that tub & tile cleaner is SO good! But I did take the part that makes it foam off because I don't like foaming. And the Method toilet bowl cleaner is amazing too!!
The big bottle of multi purpose makes SO many gallons of cleaner !
The Meyer shower tub cleaner was a total let down
All you need is a big bottle of the multi purpose
1/4 cup per gallon of water

You don’t have to use a cleaner I just like using one in addition to the steam

Is it safe to use a steam mop on wood because I was told not to use it on the wood.
I've always read that it was safe to use a steam mop on the type of wood floors that we have. We even asked the builder who put in the flooring and they said that newer model steam mops are good to use since they have controlled steam output!

I'll have the try the Mrs. Meyers tub and tile cleaner. I know what you mean by the chemical smell being overwhelming when trying to clean the shower.
It's so bad! Even my husband, who doesn't seem to care much about smells, gets overwhelmed by the smell when he cleans our shower. That's when I knew it was bad! I will always use a more natural cleaner now since it's such a small space. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Lemon Vernon’s is def the lightest smelling that mrs Meyers make. You might also like basil.

Our master shower is the same way, small and enclosed, I cannot clean it especially being pregnant now. My husband cleans it but he too coughs and gags at the strong fumes, I'll have to look into that tub and shower cleaner :) love your videos!
I definitely became more aware of smells when I was pregnant! My husband also coughs when he cleans our shower with other non natural cleaners and that's how I know it's bad! He usually isn't sensitive to smells so when he needs to take a break, it's bad! Thank you so much!

I have the method hardwood floor cleaner and I like it but I used a dry mop.. what is that mop you are using?? It looked like steam coming off of it and I thought steam was a no-no for hardwood? I want to steam so badly but keep being told no. thank you!
I'm using the Shark steam mop! I actually checked with our floor manufacturer and they said I was good to use a steam mop on it! There is a seal over the hardwood that protects it! Plus they said the steam from the mop isn't enough to cause damage! I can't speak for every hardwood floor though! I do love my steam mop so I would be sad if I couldn't use it ! lol
Getting your hardwood floors soaking wet with water us what is bad for them. Steaming hardwood is not harmful because of how fast the steam evaporates.
You totally make me want to purchase these cleaning product. I’m super cheap so I don’t spend the money on smell good cleaning products. My house usually smells of bleach or vinegar, but at least it’s clean and sanitized. Anyways on my next visit to target I’m splurging.

How come you don't use a wet cloth when cleaning?
I just never have! I just use spray and a dry microfiber cloth! It's been working pretty well so far!

As crestons wife I like 7 the generation multi purpose cleaner I got Mrs Meyer's hand soap I like it alot we ordered the Mrs Meyer's multi purpose cleaner from Walmart we ordered and bought the honey suckle. You only have to use very little hand soap it goes a long way even though the bottle is not big for the hand soap. I would like to try their lotion and soy candles I believe I would like it much better than bath and body works I don't like how perfume the bath and body works it's too strong for me their scents I love the Mrs Meyers scent not to heavy no perfume scent
this was exciting to watch b/c i just knew you would've them. i have come to love them too. i buy both method and mrs meyers. i love there dishwashing liquids but, they finish quickly so i just went back to buying the palmolive super size it's cheaper to buy that one. ❤️

It's real wood but I'm not entirely sure of the color. I can check for you later! We bought this house when it was only a year old so we didn't build it/pick out anything! If I can find the color, I'll let you know!

Cleaning products shouldnt be bought because of smell only. If the products work and smell good thats a plus.
I agree! Cleaning power is definitely my first priority but I love it when they smell good!
it'd be nice to see less time lapse and more of the actual purpose of the video... sorry but watching someone cleaning their dishes with obnoxious music isn't entertaining. lol also you can actually add the method liquid floor cleaner into the mop canister as long as yours holds cleaner so you don't have to keep picking it up.
