Hello Russell Goodnight. This supermarket is reminiscent of some Low Cost supermarkets that exist in Portugal. The prices are interesting in comparison with the prices in Portugal, as a general rule they are lower in Russia, now it is interesting to know what the average salary is in that city, since with the values that are said to be earned in Russia, it is not possible to buy a lot thing. It is often said that a Russian worker earns on average in the range of 300/400 Euros, approximately 330/440 Dollars per month. Was interesting to know the real values of salaries and home income. Here in Portugal, with these values you would have to sleep on the street, but it all depends on other expenses, rent, water, electricity, telephone. gas, etc. Hugs and congratulations on the video

Do any of the supermarkets in Russia have special scooters for elderly and disabled shoppers like they do in stores like Walmart? The selection was very good. Stores in the US aren't as clean or well run as the ones you show on this channel, Thank you Russell!
Elderly people can order food and medicine to their home. Another possibility is to ask the social worker to buy everything you need. These systems are very developed in Russia and there is no need to visit the store if your order is delivered within 15-60 minutes.

Unwashed vegetables:
1. better stored

Is this a big box outlet? Costco has cool rooms for dairy, eggs, and vegetables. Seems like they had far too few carts for the size of the store. A fair way to compare prices is relative to average hourly wage, for example how many hours of work does this item cost.
These are considered a regular supermarket. Well technically a "hard discount supermarket" We do have big box type stores though. One is called Metro. ruclips.net/video/I5KREYkyc4o/видео.html
Hello Russell, your videos are interesting, thanks for sharing.
4:50 He's living in Cloud City in the sky on a massive zeppelin
Maybe. ))) Either way to balloon selling business in Russia is doing very well.
I heard one woman say that we are not dying of hunger... The reaction of older people is quite understandable. In my opinion, they are not very happy with foreign speech. The only thing that justifies them is that they don’t know how friendly Russell is! (translated with Goodle)
Hey, Russel. I would notice the Oryol means Eagle. Literally. You, I'm sure know it, but watchers...
And Belorussian hypermarkets - this is good challenge for our hypers I think
Well stocked and lots of American brands I see
Hi Russell, the ruble closed on Friday at 91 to the dollar. You need to add about 10% to the Russian price to get the dollar equivalent.
Good morning how are you?
You’re doing a great job showing us the new Russia, I really doappreciate.
It worth to mention what means the word “Chesnok”. It is typical Russian slang word which means “fair”. In Russia we often use an expression “Все по чесноку/vsyo po chesnkoky” which means “everything is fair”.
According to some western people this is a threat to Russia 🤣🤣
$6 for 35 diapers. OMG. The prices for groceries in Russia are literally 1/4 the $$ of USA & Canada!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, and the Belorussian salaries only 1/6 to 1/12!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So expensive in Belarus.

10$ for salami is very expensive for someone that lives on $1-$3 a month.
Who lives in Russia on $100 a month? :) You confused Russia with Bangladesh or Zimbabwe..

Wow! Russia can pile up food in pretty packets! Top technology!
Costco does it very much the same way.
Never been in Belorussia
Thanks
Yeah i am so jealous i have to pay double those prices. Our wages are 4 or 5 times higher. I guess it isn't so bad in Australia.

Worst quality and taste too! Russia and her friends are the greatest in the world! We are the envy of free and democratic peoples!

Why don’t you mention that the subtitle of the store is “Discounter”
They will to be called a "Hard Discounter" as well.
7:20 they were celebrating the victory day

I just think this awesome ,Russia has room for these stores ,the other stores will be fine . Competition is always good for the consumer.
$19 for laundry pods here 😂
Do any of the supermarkets in Russia have special scooters for elderly and disabled shoppers like they do in stores like Walmart? I would love to check out this store and some of the others you did videos on but they are so huge. I can't walk very far at all. The prices in this store were quite reasonable.
Unfortunately, there are no special scooters for elderly and disabled shoppers in Russia. I've never seen in Russia anything like this. The government pays much less attention to such people than in the United States.

This is a place called Oryol, it's about 360km from Moscow.
I ve never heard about this market.
