Thanks for the content i just got my first board after 25yrs of not being on a board. 35 yr old trying to skate again 😅. Hoping to skate through the airport once comfortable enough. Of course with a penny board but got another board for surf skate. Keep up the great work. ❤

This is helpful! I was contemplating whether I should buy a better bearing to make my board go faster and further, but this definitely will help. Thankyou so much Tyler!

Well, I watched this out of curiosity, as I don't ride a Penny, I ride a full-blown 36" longboard. But after watching few of your vids, must say you explain well. I would say maybe adding more slomo would be beneficial. The rest is fine.

THe only thing tho, does it work for a normal skateboard?

Hi Tyler. I just started learning so I apologize if my question is silly. By using your pumping technique shown in this video, are we able to go up incline without having to continually push, in other words would this technique create enough speed and acceleration to allow us to go up ramps as long as they are not too steep?

Hi Brook, no need to apologize! So generally this technique would allow you to maintain speed on flat ground. Any incline is going to reduce your speed, which would mean you would likely start losing speed as soon as you start going up it.
For getting up hills, I personally don’t like to push. I actually do something entirely different than pushing and pumping. I made a video called “A Different Way to Push” which explains it in more detail if you wanted to see other methods for getting up hills

hi , just curious about how long that you can keep pumping on the penny board ?
I try to pump and it do increase the speed but it's really tired doing it
I can only keep pumping for just like 2 mins

Yeah it takes a lot of effort! Because of that, it'll vary depending on each rider. I'd say there's not much need to go past 2-minutes unless you're trying to set a personal record or just become fitter overall

When I’m turning in one direction my cruiser board touches the wheels and it blocks them :/

Very common and relatively easy to fix. I’d try tightening your trucks first, as they are likely pretty loose. Besides this, you could try getting smaller diameter wheels or adding risers to your truck

Do you realize that with "my heel slightly off the board" notion your're pouring acid on what is accepted in so called "proper carving" theory?
Cheers to that! Brave move. I wonder how skaters react.
Good job as always. Keep it up!
    With thanks,

Lolz I didn't know I began pouring "acid" on any proper theory...This is what has made the most sense to me in how I ride, and I know there are likely other ways to go about it that work well for others too. No matter, thanks, and happy riding to you 🤙🏼

Хороший! Так держать! Я бы сказал, что у вас хорошее начало. Когда вы почувствуете себя более комфортно, я бы посоветовал поработать над движением бедер и еще немного повернуть тело. Удачи!
