(Edit: Don’t get me wrong, I have countless hours in this game, but it doesn’t deserve the “SimCity” title. It’s a COMPLETELY different game/genre)

how did you get this to run on windows 10? I bought the original game in the box and I get "side-by-side configuration is incorrect" I installed every single vc redist
You need to hook it with dxwnd and fiddle with the settings. The game predates the internet's drive to document and fix things on the dev's behalf by 5 years and was written off by the internet well before that. So other than dxwnd tweaks, for anything else you're on your own. Most of the game is written in plain text XML so it shouldn't be too hard to find new things.

Jesus, I remember my parents buying this for me as a kid, I remember even when I was like 12 or something this game felt really simple and boring. It also looks so bad, like damn Tropico 3 came out a couple of years after this and looks so much better, this is painful to look at

Can you help me download this version because I've loved this game since I was 9 years old and now I'm almost 30 but I still remember when I played this game.If you can help me, I'd really appreciate it

I actually find 4 pretty dull, you can make a city succesfull in like 20 minutes and then what? nothing else to do.

you don't, you either undo it quickly after building it or you demolish and rebuild
