    Beautiful plane but really why are they getting so damn big. Seems like a male pissing contest who can have the biggest most expensive plane. I fly as well and no way I would go up at the same time with a monster like that in the air. So basically they hog the flight time.

    • @RCScaleAirplanes
      @RCScaleAirplanes  4 года назад

      *_Thank you !!!_*
      The flight time of large models is usually shorter than from small ones. Contrary to the USA, usually no more than two planes fly at the same time on European model airfields. We have no spots for the pilots. They can stand wherever they want. The exception is for large model flight shows.
      Instead of expressing jealousy about the abilities of the builder, it would be wise to praise it. Everyone can have fun with their model airplane. No matter what size or scale factor it has.

    • @backtosleep
      @backtosleep 4 года назад

      @@RCScaleAirplanes So in other words no criticism is allowed. And another thing just because it's bigger doesn't make it more difficult to build. Jealous yeah right. I have seen much better built planes that were .60 size by very skilled builders. Large models are getting too big and should have a limit for safety. Sooner or later we will see government step in and limit size. Like here in Canada about the drones now thanks to irresponsible operators spoiling it for themselves. And yes here in Canada they do hog the flight time when there's a couple of them because no one dares go up with a smaller plane. We are allowed five planes to go up with a spotter. They act like they have more rights because they spent more and let you know it. Some of them need an attitude check and hurting the sport. You should rename your channel to RC LargeScaleAirplnes. Because that's all you show is large scale. Bigger isn't always better.

    • @RCScaleAirplanes
      @RCScaleAirplanes  4 года назад

      @@backtosleep First of all thank you for your answer.
      👍
      I don't find any criticism in my answer to your first comment. Neither is there anything written that could make you jealous. I don't understand your excitement.
      Drones are also a problem here in Europe. Because they don't need a model airfield to fly and they fly wildly around. These are the ones to whom we owe stricter regulation.
      Over the past few years I have been several times at the _Joe Nall Week_ in the US . Up to six models fly there at the same time, but nobody stays on the ground just because a larger model has started.
      Looks more like you have a general problem in your club.
      I don’t have to change my channel name on RUclips. Rather, you should take a look around my channel, to realize what kind of models are shown there. It is quite normal for large models to be shown there, or would you switch off your camera when such a large plane rolls to the runway?

    • @backtosleep
      @backtosleep 4 года назад

      @@RCScaleAirplanes The size of the planes is getting ridiculous and one day someone will get hit or property will be damaged and then it will hit the fan. It's already very hard to get a flying field opened let alone keeping one and these large planes with the noise doesn't help the sport but only hurts it.

    • @RCScaleAirplanes
      @RCScaleAirplanes  4 года назад

      @@backtosleep Most model airfields in Germany have a weight limit of 25 kg and also a noise emission limit.
      Most pilots of large models fly mainly only on model aircraft shows. Of course, this is a magnet to attract viewers.

    Oh WOW! Only thing I would say to do better is put a Moki 400cc 5 cyl. in that.... I can only imagine how awesome 1/2 scale must be, though! I used to fly a 1/4 scale P-40 with a Genoah G-38 in it, and that thing was just as reliable as the real thing. I fly a friend's P-40, it wasn't mine, but he trusted me not to crash it. It was a piece of cake to fly compared to tiny 48" wingspan models with glow engines, although I had those down also at the time, only ever having incidences with radio interference at the time with an AM radio. I'm sure today's radios are much better... (this was in the late 80's mind you....) AWESOME plane!
