“Is Butterbean OK?”
These guys earned every penny and deserve to be rich just from the amount of physical pain they willingly put themselves through for our entertainment
I agree with you 100%!
I disagree. To do what they you need to be a person who enjoys pain.
Lowest common denominator!!!
I like both of these legends so much - and I don’t *think* my fondness is only because they somehow survived. Damn, they gave the world so many laughs. All respect to two American originals. 🤘
He doesnt even sound or act the same. The cadence of his voice, mannerisms, no goofy of the wall laugh. Seems like he has to try to think. So different then the guy i remember way back when. Crazy
thats what 18 concussions will do to you
He's the MTV version of every professional wrestler. Finding a way to work through the injuries, to get the job done
To injure himself more lol
Mick Foley!!!
Sorry for the injuries and thank you for all the laughs :)
“Worried about under committing” you sir are a true legend 🫡
Its so silly, but undercommitting is how you get hurt( unless you’re knoxville and commiting 100% to something you have no chance of doing😂)
Just finished jackass 4.5 on Netflix and I honestly liked it just as 4. Danger Aaron is a beast for taking all those nut shots
hi, im proud of what you guys do to bring us entertainment! you make so many people happy and your fans appreciate you.
Honestly, what a good ending. He realised he needed help, assessed his options, got the professional medical help and medication, *put in the work to exercise and do physical therapy*, and now can live the life he wants. He's lucky he can afford all that, but still.
Well had he not done it for the money he wouldn’t have been injured.
It’s not really lucky I’d say he earned every penny 😂
He's probably gonna feel pretty rough in 15 years though still.
In America he " realized", maybe if he was in great Britain then he would have "realiSed" as you say.. Just FYI lol
@@cashmoneycockburn9502 yea dude he definitely earned his small fortune if anything he deserves more
The fact that these guys are still alive is frankly, incredible
“Sometimes you get hurt, and it’s tough to drive your car” 🐐
I always wondered if I could have done some of this stuff and the drop on the vert ramp seemed to be yet another scratch for Knoxville, it’s nice to know these folks actually are human and that I couldn’t just walk away. Thanks for the warning before every episode fellas!!!
My favorite Knoxville quote about the new movie
"I got to see what I'm gonna look like in a coffin" when the bull hit him lmao
That vertigo is real. Broken zygome gave me the worst. Couple years it stopped. God bless yall for the funny...
hes came a long way just like steve o love both of em
You are stunning!
Two of the gnarliest dudes to ever walk the Earth. Respect.
Thanks for the memories
If Jackass does go forward w/ a new series, more movies, etc., let Johnny sit them out. This man has given enough imo. Let him b a producer on future projects, as well as a consultant. I want this man on the earth for as long as possible. 💯
I think he is done now after the bull riding incident.
Or just have him spectating or in smaller roles of stunts that don't involve the pain like him and Weeman in "Electric Avenue" or Ryan Dunn hitting the ball into Steve-O's nuts in "Teeball"
after he did the bull for this movie, he’s officially retired from major stunt work. there was an official statement from him about it and everything, no more big stunts but minor ones are okay. action point was gonna be the end originally but he wanted to squeeze out something big for jackass 4. he plans on just being around for the stunts, announcing the stunts, playing his pranks, stuff like that. basically what he was doing on the jackass 3 set when he wasn’t filming big stunts for himself haha
I grew up with the Jackass crew and appreciate all the laughs they brought us. I know they got money and the fame but the older I get I wonder if it was actually all worth it with risk of CTE, arthritis, addiction etc.
Knoxville definitely has CTE, no doubt about that
@@zodinero2622 ya I remember in one of the movies he said something like “we can’t take hits to the head like that anymore” fast forward 15 years u have a now gray haired Knoxville standing in the ring with a bull about to take the most brutal hit ever
Didnt one of them have to have his kidney removed? Might of even been Raab Himself i can't remember
Except that the Jackass guys would have done crazy, performative stuff even if there was no camera. It's in their blood. You don't need to be trampled by a bull or shot from a cannon to get CTE and arthritis. Skateboard falls, cliff jumps, skiing wipeouts, ATV accidents, etc. will do the trick just as well. And anyway, at least they got recognition and some fortune out of the deal. Plenty of unsung working stiffs get severe arthritis, back pain, etc, just from the wear and tear that comes from a lifetime of physical labor, and they're not getting million dollar checks for their troubles, unless you mean $40,000 a year for 30 years...
@@gasstationpeanuts1814 they making more than that. Not at first but after the first movie at latest they were making some real nice money
Diclofenac..preach brother I have two bad discs in my neck that shit is AWESOME.
Much respect to you both❤️
That lowerback pain is really something else
Dr Sarno tms
Johnnys a classic
i love u steve o yeahhhhh duddeeeeeeeee
Holy shit! Butter bean gave Knoxville the permanent spins! 😂
I fractured my lower back in high school and my back would seize up sometimes and it will literally drop you. I once got stuck bending over and was just crumpled.
Knoxville's hair is magnificent!
The fact that these guys are still alive will remain a mystery to science for a long long time.
It's a miracle that none of the guys became seriously addicted to opiate pain meds or even heroin like Novak
@@rachaeldangelo1337 i’ve been a jackass fan since the beginning and truuust me, they did. steve, novak and bam were the only ones that became so public about it, but knoxville had an alcohol, amphetamine and video head cleaner addiction (the lighting bolt on his hand was the symbol from the “rush” cleaner can), preston was addicted to xanax, dave was an alcoholic as was ryan, steve was heavily addicted to coke pcp and nitrous, loomis is loomis, chris raab was addicted to pills and alcohol… to name a few. a lot of them matured and sobered up quick after ryan died from drunk driving, some took a little while longer.
Johnny and Steve o looking more and more like Rick and Morty
"Sometimes you get hurt and it's hard to drive your car"
The fact that it’s name was Butterbean gets me every time hahaha
Knoxville is a God. Forever loved
Damn, Knoxville still lookin' fine as hell with his silver hair 😍
Absolutely!
“Yeah sure, sometimes you get hurt and it’s tough to drive your car”
Be glad you don’t have that guy’s job
Johnny looks like Ivan Zissman permanently. Crazy commitment what those guys had seeing the stunts through...
I had the same back injury and thing Knoxville had where the back would seize up... it was scary... youd be paralyzed for a few moments... crazy shit.
i get a sharp pain through my spine causes me to jolt hurts like a mofo
Hes a lucky man if thats all the injuries that bother him
knoxville's compromised sense of smell is 100% due to head trauma. It happened to me as well, I have an extremely hard time smelling things not in close proximity due to a severe brain injury.
More like coke
@@DeeDee-bm9hr I doubt it. Knoxville is prolifically known to do a lot of Adderall but even with all of the info we have about Jackass, I've never even seen anyone suggest that he does cocaine.
@@BakaVHS Did you hear Stevens comment after? “So that’s what your attributing it to?” Someone who worked with him for like 2 decades says that? Considering the casts history of drug abuse and line of work, it’s not far fetched to assume coke/meth was always on set
@@BakaVHS “do a lot of adderall” as you said implies recreational use. If they are abusing medicinal methamphetamines they will not draw the line at (pun) another line
@@DeeDee-bm9hr The burden of proof is on you, I'm not going to argue with some random person about something that doesn't have evidence. There's no reason for speculation, considering loss of smell is an extremely common symptom of brain trauma (again, both Knoxville and I have had our fair share of this) and from what I can tell your claim literally has no other base than "well you can tell because x" because you don't really know one way or another.
That was the coolest thing I’ve ever seen beavis huh hahahahhaha
I also take diclofinac for back pain. It is the best. The problem I have is I'm allergic to it so I need to take allergy tabs with it 😅
Well as they get older the pain is gonna get worse
Always go Mexico for my Diclofenac. It's the best for toothache related to swelling
Johnny and Steve o are thoughtful, polite, intelligent guys? Wtf I'm falling off my chair
The worst was the golf cart incident wit Dunn. That was insane what they were doing. He couldn’t have ever came closer to dying.
I dunno, I think Ryan Dunn came pretty close again.
@@GarethKitchenerMusic lol. They didn’t film that
I wonder if The sense of smell issue is actually from a spine issue which may effect the facial nerves . I have been learning about how that is common type of thing.
you guys need to make another movie
Good one! 👍
I just looked up the halfpipe drop, brutal
A worthy sacrifice
1:51 "Ok we're clear"
Doctor weighing in here sometimes in traumatic head injury you can lose your sense of smell from transecting your olfactory nerve. There very small nerves that go through your skull to get to your nose. We actually had a friend at work who suffered the same thing.
Did he fully recover?
@@TheBushRanger. nope
Rather than just acupressure you should try trigger point injections also known as dry needling. It offers almost instant relief in a short 40-60 min session.
love you Steve-O, Johnny, you made my childhood.... not better but funnier! or something positive
They need to add the clip of what they’re talking about. Because I literally have to leave the video and search it lol
Mind boggling he’s even able to walk after all he’s done to his body, we’ll any and all of them actually
I'd LOVE to see a full documentary about Jackass injuries Knoxville, Steve O, and the guys have suffered. They're basically just charismatic stuntmen and skaters... with a masochistic acrobat. They hurt themselves so we can laugh. Yeah they get paid a ton but... Jesus.
i’ve considered doing that but there’s sooo many, some that dont have accompanying footage, that i couldn’t even document them all lol
Thank you Knoxville
WE HAVE HEARD THESE STORIES OVER AND OVER AGAIN....
22 years of vertigo soo far.. I don’t wish it upon anyone.
johnny did a hella physical match at wrestlemania recently where he took lots of bumps
wrestling with celebs is always practiced very extensively to prevent real injury. with professional wrestling, they know how to work camera angles and make a fall seem more severe than it really is. he loved doing it and wants to keep doing it so i assume it was relatively easy on his body :)
People don't get how insane and original this was in 99 -2000. I mean CKY
Loss of smell with history of head injuries. Risk for dementia, Johnny. 😢
You can tell just by his eyes and speech that he's had so many concussions that his brain is screwed up. Definitely has cte and like u said, he has a very goid chance of dementia. Hes already forgetting things
Oh after all the shit hes been through hes fucked. All of them are.
Jesus Christ is Lord and King and Our Savior!!
1:32 'sure sometimes you get hurt and its tough to drive your car'
Me driving home from riding not knowin i had a concussion talm bout some 'fuck how do i spell my city name?' 'Well i can spell this one and ik how to get home from there so lets do that' all brain bleedin n shit🤣
Action point 2!!, no bad grandpa 2, whens that?
The lack of smell is probably from the head trauma. Had a friend bomb a hill on a skateboard and eat shit at the bottom head first into a curb at like 25 mph. Had to get heli-lifted to the hospital and stay in a coma for 2 weeks. That was about 15 years ago and he still can't smell. I thought he was dead, probably should be but he is one tough S.O.B.
He probably can't even remember most of his bad injuries
Makes sense bros probably unconscious
Good thing most are on video then!
Wtf I thought I subbed to you years go my bad just subbed
My lower back blew out in 2010 and it's just been a detrimental thing in my life
Get onto DDP Yoga bro, shit works primo for back injuries
Have two compression fractured disks and two herniated disks. Thee ddp yoga is for real.
I can't believe some of them are still walking. I mean ihave had some knee injuries and have to use a cane on rare occasions. I'm surprised Johnny isn't using a walker or a cane. Or doesn't walk with a limp. Tough as old boots.
yeah diclofenac is a classic along with naproxen!
Herniated 1 disk 😂😆 gata get those numbers up 😂😆
Add fractures and work a barely liveable wage.... 😂 Boohoo dance 🤡 dance
Lol I’m glad your doing better Johnny!
"Exercise regime" haha I picture Knoxville in North Korea while they scream at him to do push ups.
Diclo and naproxen sodium are fucking brilliant anti inflams
Isnt loss of smell more of a neurological/brain issue?
No
@@SlickArmor actually it can be
Loss of smell and compromised taste are both symptoms of TBI (traumatic brain injury) especially after recovering from said brain trauma… it’s related to nerve damage
Jamie Lee Curtis does stunts?
Am I the only one who noticed how hilarious and pointless the reaction is at 1:18 😂
Same here herniated lower disk
Sounds like myself except from drugs and partying like an idiot for 20 years 😂
I’m really late to this… that’s not vertigo, that’s a concussion
Nah Ehren's blindfold drop in was more brutal lol
Was the chiro named Dave Ramsey by chance?
Did anyone else think he was talking about weed when johnny said he found the best inflammatory?lol 😂
Johnny Knoxville really used to take all the bs for the team and for that he is a legend and Jack Ass wouldn't be what it is with out him
Head injuries can cause loss of smell. It’s brain damage, not nose damage
Wow they didn't... advertise anything this vid?
Age 50 and all these problems. Add 10, 20 years and it will be much worse. Relax...
Is Butterbean ok?
I’ve always thought a “dare devil” would look like the cartoonish white suit with red and blue accessories but now all i can picture is Johnny Knoxville. Makes me really sad to see him age 🥺
He’s actually aged really well. If he dyed his hair black he’d look almost the same.
A little Voltaren goes a long ways...sometimes
Surprised he didn’t mention the Travis Pastrana backflip wiener injury
Oh ya he was pissing blood haha. Crazy how many bones that dude broke throughout his life
"Yeah dude! That's rad!" - Steve-O 🍆
"Is Butterbean okay?"
Wait... where was the “yeahhhhh dude?”
Thank god I hated that.
What's up with Steve-O launching softballs to his old colleague?
These two…. Sheesh. They destroyed themselves
Is Johnny Knoxsvilles biological father Barry Weiss from Storage hunters. I think that’s the right names.
His real name is Philip John Clapp.
Is Butterbean okay
