The instructions on the package are awful.
Thank you for the feedback, we are sorry to hear of the trouble. If you need additional assistance please feel free to connect with our experts directly: s.3m.com/3ahi33
Agree. Thank goodness for RUclips!
Remove the instructions from the product and provide a QR Code printed on the back label and send people directly to this video.
We appreciate your feedback! We will forward it onto our team. Have a great day! 😃
They are the worst instructions to anything ever... I'm actually a nuclear technician with a design mention on 'Modern Marvels' (not kidding) and I couldn't figure out the authentic frontier gibberish... Thank you RUclips!
Thank you packet instructions are awful, this was v helpful
Way simpler to understand than the instructions. Thanks!!!
Looks useful, I've hung my first frame with it today, if it stays well attached I'm afraid my walls will be entirely covered with framed artworks by the next year.
😅😅
Did it fall down?
@@m4yh3m121 It didn't ; But now I don't remember what color were my walls behind those frames.
@@o0Cheator0o top tier review. will be getting these now thanks to you
Wow, this was a really good instruction video😂 I didn't expect much, but these people really made it perfect
Thank you really great instructions 👍
makes for a great holiday gift 😉
I love them. they hold up mirrors, they hold up stone pieces, they hold up metal art pieces, they hold up everything to the walls not just pictures !😉
Wow from the instructions would have never guessed that
Anyone have an issue on step 4? When trying to peel picture off the wall the strips do not separate and both come away from the wall with the picture?
yupp
yeah but from experience you honestly don’t really need to do step 4, i’ve hung stuff without doing that and it’s been fine
Trust me, as I did it today, you don't need to do step 4. Just do step 3, and you can already feel the picture is as stable as you expect.
ruclips.net/video/uIxHEvSm2IU/видео.html
Yep, just happened with me and now the sticky bits that are meant to be on the wall are no longer sticky. Gonna need to new ones :(
Thank You!
For the heavier frames, is it recommended to paste the adhesive horizontally across each corner of the frame or the standard vertical way works? Thanks
Great question! What size is your frame? And how heavy is it?
I was hanging a frame with a picture and glass. When I went to the last part, Grab bottom corners and peel frame from wall, It was very hard to peel it, and I was afraid the glass would break. Now I am wondering what will happen if I want to move it from that position, if I want to remove it from.the wall, will the glass break? How can I do this in the future? Perhaps these can't be used if glass is involved?
Why do they set a size limit on the frame if the weight is within 10 pounds ? My frame is like 27 x 42 inches weight 9.7 pounds ?
Is it possible to remove it without damaging the wall?
Yes! Please follow this instruction video to remove your Command Hooks: s.3m.com/x45q5oi8
No. I followed their instructions to the letter to hang a small, light, plastic, TV remote holder to a latex painted wall.
Months later I followed the instructions to remove the Command strips: the strips tore apart and failed. A large chunk of my paint was ripped off by the strip as I removed the rest of it along with the remote holder

Wow simple!
The sound effects in this video trigger my fight or flight bro what's going on
lol, same
Followed the instructions now have paint missing off my wall from the strips when I tried to follow instructions to pull picture as the adhesive bounded
Same issue for me
They can do some harm. I set up five of them a year ago and one came off last night. The replacement broke and fell apart and then the strip tore when I tried to remove the back. I wound up tearing off a piece of wall.

@@commandyea so they can go fix the wall....
I just watched another RUclips video of someone using these. He said his package of strips held 16 lbs and said that each set of strips held 4 lbs each. Is that true? You have to use every strip in the package to hold the amount of weight listed on the package?
depends on what size you get, small med or large they each hodl a diff amount of weight. But yes as shown in the vid you need 4 strips for a frame, what size / weight depends on how heavy your item is.
It's got a great beat and I can bug out to it
wait?
wt how is a drum any help
PLEASE SPEAK IN YOUR INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO
Not sure it would be a good idea for me. I put pictures up then always end up repositioning/lowering the height of them at least 3 -4 times. Usually i always hang them too high then keep moving them down the wall until im happy with the height. I know pictures are supposed to be head height when you're stood up, but i still always end up hanging them too high to start with.
I only just got them but they seem pretty easy to move (I messed up putting them up like 4 times)
Just followed the instructions and 1. Rubbing alcohol has taken the paint off the wall. 2. Before I had a chance to remove the pictures from the wall one fell down and the frame is now broken and the paint has been stripped from the wall completely. Absolute waste of money. Will have to go back and repaint the wall now.
I wish this video was on the packaging cuz my god was the written instructions horrendous. So easy after watching this.
I have these small plastic clear damage free hanging hooks. I think I’m doing it right? Or at least following directions. A friend of mine had some and couldn’t get them to work either. These are different than what’s in the video. The ones I have just do not stick, to anything. I just used the hooks and spent some extra cash to purchase some double sided sticky tape and they work with that. Wasn’t sure what to do. Anyone else ever use these things?
Do I need to do the alcohol step if my wall was painted a week ago?
Hello Kelly! Thank you for asking. We would recommend cleaning the wall with rubbing alcohol and waiting 7 days after painting before use.
nice
Same question as some before what can you use instead of rubbing alcohol if you don't have any?
Hey Helen - we prefer you use rubbing alcohol; you can use water but it is important that it dries completely before using Command. Its important to not use a chemical cleaner.
@@command thanks I ordered some rubbing alcohol so didn't wanna risk anything by using just water when it says not to, hopefully I can mount my cameras tonight
@@hache.9326lol it's in every pharmacy and Walmart
They left out the part where the packages say to lastly pull the tabs at a downward angle and it’s tearing the adhesive off and my pictures fall off? Not the best instructions.
That's how to remove the tabs from the wall, not hanging instructions
Is there any alternative for rubbing alcohol?
Great question! Although we prefer you use rubbing alcohol, you can use water but it is important that it dries completely before using Command. It's important to not use a chemical cleaner.
@@command Isn't rubbing alcohol a chemical cleaner? If degreasing is the most important, you should at least add a drop of dishwashing soap when going over the area, only water at the end.
Will try c-tec multi solve.. also at the back of the frame, of course
Can be used on tiles?
Yes! Command Picture Hanging Strips can be used on tiles. 🙌
Any idea what im supposed to be doing with the soft ones that dont click together, i bought a pack of 4 sets, 2 sets have the velcrow, and the other 2 sets are soft
Hello - We are sorry to hear of the trouble. Command Picture Hanging Strips uses interlocking material that connects when pressure is applied. You should hear an audible "click" when the pairs are joined. Please connect with our product support team if you continue to have trouble or have any additional questions: s.3m.com/w82fro Thank you!
😅So having done what I thought was the most difficult part, i.e. measuring up so my canvas print hangs level and central. I look at the instructions. Too small for me to read, so watch RUclips video. Too much faffing and 1 hour before you can put the thing up permanently! Picture hook nailed into wall......job done.
Awful instructions on packet
I agree
Why are you not supposed to hang it over beds?
Cause it can fall and hit you in the head
Hey command… please have a QR code on the back of the box to access this very useful video…. i have wasted about 7 command strips following the directions on the back. please contact me if you need any assistance with these steps or you can consider me for a postion i’ consumer relations.
Thanks for this video
Instructions unclear I've somehow stuck my legs on the wall frame 😮
Want to hang some art done on soft canvas this way. Should I or what is an alternative

Las instrucciones el el papel es muy confusoooo madre mía 😢
I’m a renter so i’m wondering if I can remove this when I leave without damaging the paint? I’m leaving in two years.
Great question! Please follow all package instructions to remove Command. You can also watch a video here: s.3m.com/nwfbj785
Good video but the instructions on the package are horrible. They made me wasted the first strips. Now the video is helpful
They don't stay. They dry up or something on the wall. Stuff just falls down. Something happens to the sticky stuff over time and it is dry and not sticky to the touch. They only work for a short time. I have to keep replacing them. 🙂

Ya Dude thanks but that is not really my point. I am asking that maybe you guys ya know take this in to consideration in your design. This isn’t like about me. This is more like feed back. I like this product but I have had problems with some things falling down. They are great 👍 with sticking collectible action figure cards to the wall but with pictures it’s more hit than miss because I do have some pictures fall. I am not after anything just wanted to give you guys a heads up the strips can get a little frustrating. I am not saying “oh there junk” or anything but expect a little frustrating jump scare once and a while.
I’m amateur and my stuff hasn’t fallen once in 3 years. But i skip step 4 and just leave it there once i place it. Maybe that will work for you too.
@@Tdottdot Your walls and frames were probably free from grease, it plays a big role in adhesion
Just post a QRC code on your packaging because the instructions on the box are not very clear.
Great if ur hanging a banner on your door
if i peel the strips on the wall off will it peel the paint ?

This doesn't work for the weight that says the package. Don't buy it if your frame weights more than 5 pounds

Solution ...buy some finishing nails
Great instructions. I gotta wonder if it wouldn't have been cheaper and easier to just have a real person doing the instructions rather than paying someone to animate this... hahaha
Click 2 together? There are 2 slick surfaces - what click? So annoying
The other side, the black side.

Only good for items light even the 9kg strips are no good for anything even half rhat weight
Just use a nail or hook and rhe string and save time money and risk of damaging items
Not easy getting level tho once sfuck
Gaga
Are people too lazy to just put a nail in the wall?
You're telling me I paid seven whole british pounds for an already measly number of sticky pads, to then have to use 8 of them to mount a photo???
I paid 3 lmao
Shit doesn't work
Seems like a lot of work.
Not in my opinion. You don't need to worry about wiping down surfaces, just make sure the strips are safely aligned on your picture. After 30 seconds rest for each set, there is no need to wait an hour.
worst piece of crap I ever bought

Terrible instructions!!! I did exactly what was mentioned until step 3. Applying step 4 exactly the way it is described in the video resulted in peeling off of the paint. Now I have to deal with re-painting of the wall. It resulted in a damage that will cost much higher than the price of these useless strips!!
Horrible vodeo
Could do without the irritating music.
