This is exactly why today's skateboarding is on its way to being the best era. The pros train in amazing parks and when an impossible spot like this opens up they can shred it! Another good reason to take it to the streets. Train in the park but always find something in the wild. Even if it's just a curb or an skate able two set. Lol

Superior Court building has been skating & BMX mags since I can remember, late 80's. It looks the courthouse is being converted to residential apt's. Security will be lax for awhile.

Across the street from first congregational church. Still have my middle school yearbooks from Pilgrim. Skated it after school on my Shogo Kubo with Trackers and Double conical gyros...those cracks are big...and it was always a bust. Circa '81
6th and Commonwealth. We'd fy up on the elevators to where they sold candy and jump up and on the way down. Good times.

Awesome spot, but looks hard to skate. Love seeing these really good skaters feeling out a spot when they first get there. It gives a better idea on how a spot really is, rather than just one trick in a video part.

Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems to me that the new concave shape of Chris' board makes it difficult for him to land his trick with his sleek, low style stance, it seems he's ending up more often on his butt with the new board.
FACTS! When he was on the Saiz board, things seemed flawless.
Then there was a different "experimental" board that was showing LOTS of promise and was ready to purchase two of them, one to ride, the other to hang.

@@DanCorrigan that’s awesome to hear . Pretty sure I fractured a rib trying to relearn slappies last weekend so I’m starting to appreciate that you need to rest when you’re injured.
The thing that always confused me about this spot is how they could have made this impossible to skate with minimal effort, but never did. I can only assume they just hate their security guard!
lol, that could be true, but hopefully it is rather a case of realizing just how ugly anti skate design truly is and being willing to protect beauty instead of defacing it.
