Im 35 and just had my acl reconstructed. It was hard watch skating for a minute but I’m really thankful to have your content because it’s a comfort thing and I get to keep my mental skate muscles working.
I really hope continuing to day dream and visualize skating helps on the comeback.

Oh, for sure. It's very humanizing even watching Rodney Mullen mess up a few times on a helipop down a ledge back in the Questionable days until finally landing it but still. We ALL make mistakes but a big part of the fun I think is the learning/trial and error. Just like with my nollie tres which take me forever but I used to land em barely trying on an old Chris Cole Zero but it was a 7.75 or maybe slightly smaller so it wasn't really hard to scoopp.

Your videos depress me. They get me so hyped to skate. Especially watching Victor and Chris skating old school shapes. So why do they depress me? Because I'm 53 and haven't been able to skate for about 15 years now. Bad knees and back. To be fair, I sucked when I did skate but I still loved it. I started in the 70's into the 80's then picked. It up again in the late 90's. Moral of the story is, if you are still physically capable, GO SKATE! Even if you just coast around the skatepark like I did at FDR.

in professional cycling a "nature break" is a rider peeing while still riding the bike with 160 other riders along side. the more you know eh? sometimes a team mate will be pushing them or holding the bike. its all about saving energy.
2 miles isn't that far, but when you're a skater; walking anywhere feels painfully slow or redundant 😅
