The problem is, people are still buying it. Which pretty much encourages them to slap p-bandai on so many kits, even the HG strike dagger is a freaking p-bandai.
Well now, back where MG were affordable, always on stock and easy to find. Nowadays, it's more expensive, low stock and hard to find, which definitely would motivate us to earn more to buy more. 🤮
The sad part is, Bandai doesn’t even make more money off of PBandai. They cost the same as regular release. They just straight up don’t give a fuck enough anymore to actually print out standard release kits. They just said. I’m making this and that’s it. Get it while you can and go fight amongst each other and scalp the fuck out of it.
The difference is P Bandai is pre order based. They produce the amount of kits per pre order. So they don't have the risk of kits not being sold out plus they sell them direct and do not need to sell them wholesale to retailers. Just means Bandai doesn't want to risk producing kits that may not sell imo its stupid but Bandai likes to do them like this sadly.
Well it's all economy stuffs I think lots of people find their way to gunpla and pick either HG or RG even modders buys HG most of the time. HG became the default since probably it's cheap and simple enough to produce, especially if new series came out they can quickly ship the kit. And it's also cheap so it's so accessible for anyone even kids
Gunpla hobby is addicting.. we buy it not because we want to customize it, but to collect it.. for most, popular HG and RG kits is always sold out.. While MG kits is always there waiting to be bought..
It is also happening with hgs as well like the HGCE strike dagger, a commonsly seen grunt, that is being made into p-bandai. sadly I have seen this affect overseas gunpla stores. Ever since the pandemic, a lot of the stock is struggling to move because people either have the kit or expect it to stick around forever. Many stores are having to rely on anime figures which isn't a good move since most people buy off ami ami anyways. So even regular customers lose interest once their favorite line becomes p-bandai
@@YuriusFarrence very mad that they made the jegan D type a p bandai kit. If they just made it an upgrade p bandai kit, like they did for the ZZ Gundam, I wouldn't be so mad, but they made it an independent kit only. Same with the jesta cannon being an independent kit only and no upgrade kit for the standard jesta.
@@zergie4 For me its either Bandai makes P-Bandai available to most countries and not just specific ones, or just go back and sell these as regular or option parts heck they did this with the MG Build Strike, the booster add on was a separate kit and a regular release at that.
There are still a whole lot of MG kits that are available, Ace had 10 in stock last I went there and that’s the highest it’s been in a while. There are also a lot you can still find online.
It's because Bandai is run by boomers who are about to retire; and their pension is most likely not enough for when they retire, and they are thus trying to augment it with P-Bandai sales. 😅😅😅😅😅 P.S. I'm being sarcastic; but given Japan's work culture, I think it's not farfetched and I won't be surprised, if ever.

I remember back then we have MGs every months and now we are lucky to get 2 retail releases
I can relate to this even hgs are being common in pbandai.
PBandai: Didn't we inform you our pbandai is for scalper exclusive?
Gave me a chuckle. This is gold. If only P Bandai was available to other countries like how it is locally in Japan.
I just buy from Japan. No prob in usa

"Exclusive" market make too much profit big company won't let go.
I have plenty of master grades at my local hobby town since they’re Bandai affiliated she if u got one near u
@@my2k98 I'm in Melaka, Malaysia and the only Bandai affiliated Gunpla stores I know are Gundam Mania and ArtCity

This is the part where MG is officially dead same with PG. And they are all going straight to PREMIUM BANDAI!

Everybody gangster until the Bandai Logo went Sky Blue. 😂 as a RG collector they are slowly Going in the same path.
Isn't this applies to other grade? When I saw strike dagger in p bandai I cried
100 % correct !!!

hgs are going to p-bandai like the hgce strike dagger
Even HGs as well

6 years since I bought a gunpla. Main reason is. P-Bandai ruined it for Me.
So much stuff is p bandai now, making it expensive as fuck 😂
We used to get about 6 MGs a year, now we get two if we're lucky. But Metal Composite has always been a problem.
There are more MG P Bandai releases than actual MG releases in a year now. Heck they even got the Stark Jegan and Type D. P Bandai monies.

it is seriously a big problem. I am so over the p bandai everything mentality. But hey ya gotta get paid.
Bandai releasing 27 versions of the gundam f90 and all of them being p bandai
Fr tho who's buying that shit.... it's not even a good kit imo
The stupid thing I bought it T_T

Let’s increase the price 50-150% fcaused by attificial rarity

It's really difficult to find mk 5
Funny enough nobody buy MK V in my country
Still need me a RX-121-2A reprint - am I the problem?
No, you’re fine
i hate it because it's true
Lets not even mention the super basic detail less frames
