To be fair, the ones that got shrecked were being piloted by kids who had never even thought about piloting a mobile suit. Elan made the zowort look pretty cool with an experienced pilot in that 1v3.
Also Im pretty sure they made a comeback during that fight by being stable platforms for Chu chu's demi trainer, so say what you will about the zowort during that match they still sealed the victory in the end and for rookie pilots to do that is nothing but validation that even with a rookie pilot the zowort still excels more than your average demi trainer, like last I remembered the demi trainers used in actual combat performed less favorable compared to when the desultors, dilanzas, and heindree, so if anything a zowort is probably better than a demi trainer or nothing, since it has more mobility its flexible enough that even when damage you can still pilot it to some degree, and that with the right pilot it can wipe out a professional team with nothing but its basic equipment
This is shaky. There were several armored core games with different mech designers. Inata was part of a group of designers for AC4A, and the design language is barely seen here.
The amount of potential for customizing on this kit is actually mind-blowing. I can already imagine people going wild with the optional parts from 30MM with this
The Zowort Heavy coming out later is going to be so amazing with such a good base kit to work from. I can also just pretend it's an Armored Core kit due to its appearance. Bandai, please make us an HG Armored Core line of kits, you're already publishing Fires of Rubicon afterall.
For real, I'm praying so that Bandai gets the license for the AC6 kits and not Kotobukiya. Koto's AC kits look great but are so rare, expensive, frail and require so much work.
Bandai would be kite-high if they didn't try to get From onboard with their model kits. An AC line would likely be similar to 30MM in that parts would be readily interchangable like in game. There's space for full-robot model kits as well as add-on kits containing weapons & modules. Really am hoping we get an AC6 line.
@@EnsignEpic That's exactly how Koto did it, with full robot kits and weapon packs both for third AND fourth gen. It's a shame they don't really reprint kits
I’ve just been getting into both Gundam and Armored Core over the past few months, so it’s really no surprise that I love the PeilTech designs so much. Can’t wait to grab four of these to re-enact THAT fight
Don't waste your time on G-Witch. Go watch Gundam 00, Gundam X, Zeta Gundam, or Gundam Unicorn. Hell, go watch Gundam IBO; you'll have a better experience than G-witch
Witch from Mercury has stellar MS designs, the variety, the grunts, the ace customs, I kinda really like them all. The grunt suits stand out for me with the show assigning a unique real life designer for each major MS manufacturer and that was a really cool choice. It gives each of them a unique vibe.
This honestly looks like a Normal unit in 4th Gen AC and it makes sense considering that FA's mechanics designer also works on WFM which Gaikotsu mentioned in the vid.
There really should be an armored Core Kit from Bandai, especially since Fromsoft seems to be on quite good terms with Bandai Namco (And ACVI on the way).
Mecha, that clip you used was from the team duel where Sullleta's non-pilot friends had to fill in as chaff for their team or they wouldn't have been able to participate. Elan totally rocked the Zowort and dominated a 3v1 in episode 5.
I've been looking forward to this. Also it's first appearance was much better than in Episode 9. Also the beam gun looks kinda like the Plasma Pistol from Halo.
Nailed the Armored Core flavor right there, even more so when the Heavy variant comes out. But Zowort do be looking like a Union Flag too. Might make a CB Flag Kai custom (Light blue paint, Big sword, shoulder cannons, and some transformation) if i get one.
Really like the aesthetics of this grunt MS also considering Armored Core games are published by Bandai Namco about time they should ask From Software permission to make official Armored Core Bandai kits
There are actually 4 Zowort variants shown to us so far. There's this regular Zowort. There's the Zowort Heavy. Elan's custom Zowort from the 1v3 battle had bigger thruster binders with 3D axis of movement on 2 joints instead of 2D axis movement on 1 joint like the regular Zowort. Lastly there's the Zowort "heavy arms" version with the pair of 3 barrel arm cannons and pair of 2 barreled back cannons from the battle with Grasley.
The announcement of the Zowort had me thinking “oh, hey, Bandai’s cross promoting AC6, eh?” 🤣 Alsoooo, sure hope the Gundam Schwarzette ain’t too far behind either. 🖤
My own Zowort is finally arriving in a couple days alongside the Tickbalang. So hyped for this Jegan feeling masterpiece. If I finally made some sorta custom build, it would likely be some sorta combo of the Zowort and Jegan. Hyped for the Zowort Heavy as well. ❤
I have to agree, it's a pretty cool looking grunt mech and the fact it was designed but an artist working on Armored Core makes it just that more appealing! I'll try and snag this kit but I'm gonna have to put some marking on it. Happy modeling!

I have built a majority of the witch from mercury kits. They are so well layed out go together with ease and are beautiful. Bandai knocked it out of the park with these kits. And to top it off some of the kits come with there own stands. I LOVE these kits!
You are right about it reminding you of Armored Core, had the same thought before you said it. And the Beam Gun looks like a good base for custom weapons, might make for a nice custom made Karasawa MK-II. Would not be suprised to see an option kit in the future that adds additional parts to the gun like with the gun from the Aerial.
Mint green, blocky real robot, good amount of thrusters and verniers.... YUP the Jegan is my favorite grunt! lol but this absolutely is reaching for its crown. That heavy zowo is peak mecha design

I would argue the implication of the team duel episode is more that the Spacians have a pretty decisive advantage over the Earthians beyond the quality of their Mobile Suits. in much the same way giving a medieval peasant a full set of knights armour and weapons doesn't mean they'll reasonably then be able to defeat an actual knight in combat. The years of training, conditioning, practical combat experience, and familiarity with their tools among dozens of other privileges the nobility had are just such an overwhelming wall to overcome for a simple labourer or farmer. The Witch from Mercury is definitely channeling that kind of inequity with their setting, the irony of the duelist pledging their duels are "fair" is particular palpable. So, yeah, the Zowort is probably within figurative inches of the Beguir Pente they were fighting but the world around their pilots is not. It's also why Chuchu is awesome, as she responds to Spacian Capitalism inequities with the Mobile Suit version of a weaponized Honda Civic.
