Bandai need a to expand it network of shipping to make these kits available globally.... have so many kinds of kits unique to a physical location never made sense business wise and now make less sense during a pandemic. Having the store largely online and shipping can help cut out scalpers/resellers (you can limit orders to 2 of any given kit with a max cart size, as well as set up a reservation system that can make sure many orders are not going to the same address)
The Gundam Base does have an online store (Japan only). Most of the kits exclusive to Gundam Base are usually color clear or metallic version of existing kits. Other than the exclusive kits, Gundam Bases have stock priority on regular release kits compared to other physical retailers. It is probably faster and cheaper for resellers to pick kits up at the store then go to a nearby post office to ship it to their customers.

@@ilhamwicaksono5802 for P-Bandai specifically, it seems the best solution is for whoever is your country's official distributor of regular release Bandai kits creates a website to facilitate P-Bandai and works with Bandai to create an official P-Bandai service. This distributor might need to become a subsidiary of Bandai. This is essentially what happened in the USA but we get new P-Bandai releases like a month after the Japanese release. What I actually do is preorder P-Bandai from Kuramatoys in Japan and have my items shipped when it gets in.

Bandai should troll resellers by issuing massive reprints on highly scalped kits. Big win.

Well, it sure isn't a Scalper, but Bandai is trying to offer resellers, Buyers, Casual Customers as best as they can. Better they do so, still kudos for Bandai.
Maybe bandaI needs to have a different channel to sell to the ReSellers, Like show us your seller ID and we sell in the back away from customers so people don't get butthurt, Resellers are needed for those of us that are in countries that can't get those kinds of kits

On one end, I get resellers ofc need the stock to sell but this is getting silly now, they really should have a system to track and make sure people can't just go and but up the entire gundam base stores stock to sell off at higher after market prices and causing artificial inflation. What do you think "reseller" means? It _is_ the people that buy kits to sell at higher price. Those are Gundam Base Exclusive kits, Gundam is the only one that should sell these particular kits.
@@Saved_Sinner0085 Of course I know what reseller means, the point I'm trying to make is that these are exclusive kits to the store that alot of people have to wait in line for. And then ultimately, other general consumers have to pay way extra which artificially inflates the price. My point here is they need to employ a system so resellers can get their due stock to sell on cause you're right, they act as proxy for those who can't actually be there, but also so general consumers who are actually there can have some form chance they can get their hands on ones too at the actual price
Virtue Gundam is 💥💥💥. I just hope the ver. ka line makes a G-Self it deserved a MG treatment.
The solution is simple. Make ALL Gundam BASE and Pbandia available online at retail prices. With STRICT purchase limits I.e. people will try to set up different accounts, but if the shipping address is the same BAN the person trying to work the system

Honestly don't see the big issue if the batmobile requires glue, most model kits do Bandai is an exception. It'll be a fun kit regardless and I hope to use it as a way to get my friend who loves Batman into model building.

I would enjoy building (and painting) some Batmobiles, but 35th scale is a little small. 1/24 is more of a standard size for model cars. (1/35 is more often used for military vehicles)
Both Batmobiles were larger than regular cars so they are probably in line with tank size.
Scalpers are really ruining every hobby these days. It seems worse with Bandai's current production and stock cuts. It would be nice if they took a stance at one per customer.
That said, pretty stoked for that new Hi-Res and the Beezelmon. Lots of other good stuff to look forward to as well.
I honestly feel like there's no point in getting excited over new kits. I'm still waiting on my preferred orders of the MG MK3, MG eclipse, HG nightingale, RG hi Nu.... everything is always sold out.. I've never seen it this bad for getting new releases.
Btw, I found some interesting things while seeing the pre order price. I saw 2 amaim kit (amaim is the bad guy (I think, since one of the bad guys called amaim ghost) on kyoukai senki / mailes) called new item A and new item B, something not announced yet, but can be pre ordered. Just like how they did MG eclipse as MG new item A
Are the Batmobiles new or reissues? Bandai made 1/35 scale kits of both the Tumbler and the Burton version before.

So basically only two "normal" gunpla announced and both are just slightly updated Doms that we know of since last november, almost a year ago (with release date set for february, 15 months after initial news). Seriously, I get that they need more factories and there's no point making new kits when scalpers are ruining everything, but announcing new retail kits only once a year (with random eclipse here and there) is kinda stupid.
Oh man, I didnt know that the gn cannons on virtue are gonna be in a dark blue like that. That doesn't look good at all to me. I'll be repainting those if I get one

Gunpla used be a hobby. Now these few years people trying earn money by taking advantage of this hobby high supply demands.

At this point when it comes to the state Gunpla or Premium Bandai stuff, even high price LEGO sets looking to be more and more affordable at this point. And you can resell that pretty good at the end of the too. Bandai will loose customers in the end if they going to far this path
No they do not, you can get a Perfect grade or even 2-3 MGs for the price of some standard Lego sets. Buying from local hobby shops and small businesses online is the best way to get good prices. Never buy from Amazon, gunpla on there is way too expensive. If you know where to look you can find kits, yes newer kits are becoming harder to get after release but that doesn't mean that there's nothing at all.

remember if you want to get clear parts of kyoukai senki / mailes kenbu, it is first production limited bonus! so pre order it or get it as soon as it comes out because next batch won't have clear parts

new ren also expensive for a kit that looks very thin. I think they mindlessly put the minimum price for kyoukai senki at 2400 yen no matter how thin it is. seriously, it looks cool esp the missile launcher. I hate this, I like the design but it is not worth the price, it looks like I am paying a 30mm kit at premium price (if you see the other new spinatio and spinatia, they are only at 1400 yen)

In the past, yes. Uniqlo, Cup Noodle, Japanese Baseball and Soccer teams to name a few. Mostly Bandai collabs with Japanese companies.

Production schedules. They need to be sure they have capacity to meet the demands
Don't get mad at a reseller for taking advantage of Bandai's poor decisions. Bandai is a company worth billions in USD, you think they would be able to take care of their customers so they wouldn't have to buy from resellers.

Personally, if you can spend a couple more bucks, I'd recommend the HG Jesta Cannon. It's an amazing kit and (imho) the best "grunt" suit / Jagen variant in the UC line right now.

It depends on what you want from your kit. I like the Jesta because it is a militaristic grunt suit. I'm not so interested in the more ornate hero suits.

And maybe check some reviews, as sometimes a kit is way better than it has any right to be. Say, the consensus is probably that the Moon Gundam is one of the best HGs ever made. If you like the design, it's a must. If you don't like the design, don't feel like you "have to" get it. Gunpla is freedom.

The new series looks for 5year olds or so dont like none of the designs. They should have made a new series with more detail gundam or continue gundam thunderbolt which has much detail and gundam mechanics.
