@@DakotaEthridge literally you are getting paid to deliver on a bike.. Cycling miles and making money without paying for gas, car loans, insurance etc... Should I dumb it down for you..?
I've done uber eats bike deliveries in downtown Sacramento ever since November of 2021. So far I've completed 180 deliveries and have a 96 percent satisfaction rate, all while delivering via mountain bike. I don't regret the work, for earning freelance money and working out at the same time feels so accomplishing!
damn near a year later hope you’re still going strong, just stumbled across this video cause I wanted to give ebike delivery a shot! Crazy how you’re in Sacramento that’s where I’ll be at!
Here is your biggest issue. You are not being selective of which orders you take. Have a minimum amount you will deliver for. $4.50 orders shouldn't even be considered. I have well over 2k deliveries on DD and another 1k plus on Uber eats. I didn't even consider an UE or DD order if it was less than $6.50 and more than 3 miles. You are on a bike your range should be much less than a cars range. Acceptance rate DOES NOT MATTER on either app. My acceptance on DD was constantly fluctuating between 10%-40%. Don't take the first order that pops up if its garbage pay. The only thing that matters for these app is completion rate, on time, and your overall rating.
Your advice to him is a bit faulty----I don't know about the other apps because I don't work them..but Uber has done away with the radius of bikers basically. Cars are also given priority for orders. Just because you're a biker doesn't mean your orders are going to "make sense" for a biker...and often cars are getting orders you'd think a biker should have. You have to now COMPETE with the cars that are working in your area and be that much more fast and efficient in order to make money.
I find it easier when multiapping if I get a doordash order I will log out of uber eats. And once delivery is done I will toggle back on uber eats. Or if I get uber order I will pause doordash until uber order is complete.
You're also competing with other deliverers in a busy area, so if you arrive a day and don't get requests it is best to deliver at times when there isn't many drivers out, like odd hours or late night shifts.
Doordashing and Uber eats is really no different from waiting tables in terms of making money you're gonna have good days where you make a lot and you're gonna have bad days where you make little.
I'm starting my uber eats journey on a bicycle for the first time so this helps give me an idea as what to do. Just as a side job while I have some downtime
Electric bike is what I use last all day and get many more orders then driving that's for sure . Also the tips are bigger for some reason at least for me lol

I've been On Uber and Doordash the past year and I love it. My transmission went out non-related to dashing..the guy messed up my car at the shop when it was something simple. So to come income I gotta find a way. I got a bike with my last cash! Wish me luck !!!!

I used to live in Denver and I wish I would have known about uber eats bike delivery then. How are the bike lanes and overall biking infrastructure whilst delivery? The place I moved to has horrible biking infrastructure so it will be difficult to deliver with a bike, but I will still try it out.
I want to do the bike part one day until I save up money for a new one & IDK if I could go back and fourth between a car & a bike until I get my driver's license & my own car.

From my expierence doing uber and door dash (Denver home town :D) Uber keeps me busy for the most part where i dont have to multiapp as much. Door dash comes in handy when the day is slow but need to make money. Depending on the day i choose to do shopping but only if the miles are right with the pay but more importantly if its only a couple of items. Less time more trips more money.
@@eduard8343 keep it under 3miles to maximize profit. But only take orders above 8. Personally. Since Denver is literally bike friendly you can easily make good money through the day if you choose to.
@@eduard8343 really depends honestly. If it's on bike you're limited to your stamina. If on ebike obviously per range on battery. On scooter well until you get tired of working. I'd say on bike anywhere from 100-200 but don't recommend 12 hours. On ebike easily 100-150 during lunch rush. So more if you stay out all day. I'm assuming more with a scooter since here if the engine is aller than 49cc you can technically ride on the bike lanes so it's easier to move around. There's a guy in California who rides a Honda Ruckus his channel is under Wilmer. Type that name with Uber and should pop up right away but from his experience he clears 10k a month

This is my personal opinion. I think both the apps know what you're doing on both apps. For example uber eats no when you're probably getting ordered from door dash. The reason why came up with this example is because I noticed when. Get On a ride sharing app like Uber or lyft. I noticed the prices tend to be very high in the morning sometimes. As soon as I choose lyft and I check on Uber. I know it's the price go down.. Which basically means they know what you're doing on each app. I think the same thing go for Uber Eats and doordash.
