I feel like a few more comparisons like at 7:55 would be beneficial for this series. I was curious to if the enemies reacted the same to collision emulated.
I'll only be doing that for serious bugs. Badniks falling through the floor isn't worth showing off (it drags the video). But as noted in a message in the video, I did try it emulated and all bugs shown happened there. However, I have noted your comment for future videos :)
redhotsonic I more so mean just quickly showing a second long clip of it in the emulator as you talk, maybe only in the corner if that is still too disruptive.

Why wouldnt rom hacks work on real hardware? If the the emulators are emulating accurately surely they read the file the same way?? Is this common for hacked roms to not work on 'real' hardware?
@Aungsl322 It's basically a cartridge that allows you to run roms on the original hardware through an SD card, hence why RHS is able to test rom hacks like this on his actual Mega Drive and Master System.

That’s not particularly true. It has some really clunky level design. Palmtree Panic and Quartz Quadrant are both better levels. (In my opinion.) I like fast “speedrun” levels, so levels that are maze like and have so many obstacles all over the place, are not fun for me.
the master system had the most fun sonic games but the megadrive has better sound as it’s 16bit, the 3d ones on sega saturn and dreamcast etc was rubbish sonic IS 2D not 3D fun
Keyword in your statement; "tries". Hacks doesn't always work on real hardware. For example, the latest Sonic 2 Advance Edit that was released in late 2019 works perfectly on emulators, but crashes after pressing start on the title screen on real hardware (and the music plays incorrectly).
