I am a 40 year old student that is returning to college after being out of school for almost 20 years. A fellow classmate suggested Toohey’s crash course and reluctantly I purchased the course along with some other very expensive black and yellow study guides- don’t waste your money. Take it from me- His crash courses are all you need.
First round of testing 936 math, 963, writing and a 5 on the essay.
Studied from some well known black and yellow books - 957 math
Crash course from Mr Toohey- 967 math, 987 writing, and an 8 on the essay.
Because of his courses I was able to successfully beat out about 80 other students and rank into my local radiology program.
I can’t say enough how effective his courses are. Just do it! Don’t waste your time or money on anything else.

I bought your course Sunday for my TSI test today and I PASSED first try 😩 I was soooo stressed; there were questions I was stumped on for sure, but your method of thinking logically with answers helped. So THANK YOU! So worth it and highly recommend for anyone who has been out of school for a while. 10 years for me out of school and his techniques were spot on.

I am literally in my car from taking my test. I passed first try. The best part is I only had 2 days to prepare because I didn’t know I had to take one. It’s been 20 years since I’ve seen this stuff and there is absolutely no way I would have passed without your crash course. Thank You!!!!!

You should have received a confirmation email when you purchased (you may need to check your junk folder depending on your email security settings)… in any case, send me that email and I’ll straighten it out for you as soon as possible!
Is the tsi math the same as accuplacer?
Great question, Shawnda! The TSI is the Texas version of the Accuplacer… There are a lot of similarities, but there are some higher-level concepts on the Advanced Algebra and Functions section of the Accuplacer NOT tested on the TSI… that’s probably the biggest difference…
They are also scored differently…
