THANK YOUUUUU!! I jus commented on this exact topic!! .. In reality the amount of hair Isi held up after combing out her hair was NOT at all an unusual amount of hair "loss" for 60 whole days (so for example, let's take the least amount 50 strands hair loss a day, so 50 strands x 60 days = 3000 strands of hair loss in 60 days, now if we take 100 strands that is 6000 strands of hair .. so what she showed us was NOT 6000 strands of hair in that pile) so we know that Isi is NOT LOSING AN ABNORMAL AMOUNT of hair at all, for those 60 days!! In fact it is not a loss of hair at all, we naturally shed approximately 50 to 100 strand of hair daily ... I really wish someone would let Isi know, cuz she always seems to be bothered/worried about the amount of hair she claims she loses when she combs out her hair from having braids in for an extended period of time!!
@@misty_fisher Wow thank you, very time I take out my hair I’m also really worried because I don’t have a lot of hair in the first place but I shed a lot, this sort of clears out everything and my anxiety

This is a misconception about taking down braids after a protective style. She didn't lose lots of hair; she only lost the hairs that were supposed to be shaded everyday, but the cornrows kept those hairs from falling to the ground. We lose about a 100hairs per day and after a couple of months, the loose hair that she is holding in the shower is the result of those hairs not being able to fall out by themselves.

I did the big chop in 2019. I got a perm when I was 19. My natural hair was easy to maintain. I'm 53 with 25% gray hair now and I'm think about the creamy crack again. But after watching your recovery hair results, I'm going to hold out for another year. I love my natural hair, I need to learn how to maintain it. What I truly want is managable healthy hair. Length will come later. I like your routine especially the twists before washing. I think this will help even though I have 4C hair. The goal is moisturized and healthy. I think your routine will be beneficial.

Ye 2mths of not allowing the shedding hair to go, she wld have that amt of shedding so it's safe to say its still healthy
Good to know...but it’s scary to see so much hair coming out in one sitting.
can’t relate I never shed, n my hair is healthy asf.. I have my own techniques
@@icedoutnunu not even a small bundle each day?
@@icedoutnunu so you saying when you brush/comb your hair nothing comes out?
YES! Type 4 and leave it at that...when you start doing the letters it opens up a debate that is annoying.
Hey hun this’s s not breakage or over shedding of your hair, its normal to shed between 50 and 100 hairs a day. So just imagine with the duration of all the hair you sheds during the time you had your braids in. Thanks for the video and take care of your sweet self 💖😍
Your hair BEEN goals!
Every time you say “dookie” I can’t help but laugh 🤣
lmfaooo
Wow yes your hair looks incredibly healthy! I realized that I unintentionally have entered into a wig season since the pandemic! I have been seeing the growth as well, thanks for sharing! :D
Nooo 😱 i haven’t even watched the video yet but the thumbnail broke my heart ❤️.
I clicked so fast.. I missed the natural hair😍Love you so much!
natural hair video ARE THE BEST
I’m wondering how long this took-
Prolly 1-3 hours🤷🏽♀️
Probably 5-6 hours
15 hours
That’s too long^😭
@Carrie M my hair takes four days to air dry so i feel you 💀💀
MISSED SEEING YOUR HAIR SIS 😭😭
I can see the growth honestly
Isi!!! Your hair is so beautiful, I feel like it’s gotten so much longer and thicker-this video was everything🥰
THE LENGTH
I don’t know what’s so satisfying about watching month-long braid takedowns but I love it
I swear I haven’t detangled my hair in a month and I already know that the struggle is finna be real 😂
That aussie moisture conditioner will help alot!
The video just started and one word. GROWTH. 🤩
Isi, I’ve been waiting for this😓 Issa bout timeeee & oh yeahhh, we hella stupid littt🤪🔥!!
Hey! When you said the same braids from THAT time, I was like ISI!!!!! But your routine works so well for your hair and us OGs “saw” the products you used, we already know! Per usu... It came out sooo good and the growth is crazy💚
Me when I seen all the breakage in the thumbnail: "I KNOW you lyin" 🤣🤣🤣
I love this raw and real ass version of ISI’s videos 🥺
When you blow dried the first half of your hair I'm like LENGTH COME THROOOOUGH😲😲👏👏🔥 You always inspiring me!
I have almost the exact density, texture and length. I shed this much after protective styles no matter WHAT I do. So glad I'm not the only one.
Isi, this is just my personal opinion but i feel like you should take a break from youtube after the marathon on your couples channel. Don't get me wrongi am a devoted beaute gang member and a part of quality qrew. But i think that you should take a small break just to give your mental health a break.
Once again this is just my personal opinion and i do not know you in real life
This is just advice
This is such a sweet comment ❤
Maybe Coming Here Is Her Break. Not Much Thought Needed To Put Into This Video To🤷🏿♀️
I would just like to point out twice I mentioned my personal opinion.
I also said I do not know her in real life for that specific reason.
I am not trying to start anything, I was just a little teeny tiny concerned. Barely
Awee ❤️❤️❤️
@@gennybetwana9620 dw nobody saying u are 💀💀
I love your brows! They look so good like the shape and everything fire 🔥
“Where’s my scalp tho” took me out 😭😭
Yassss girl your hair is HEALTHY HEALTHY!! I always love your content.
I sleep on my right side and it's longer by like an inch. My left side acts like I offended it. Funny thing is that I cut an extra 1.5 inches off my right side at my last trim 🤦🏾♀️
I an so glad to see another hair video from you . I'll be looking forward to the next one. Especially since your hair is much longer and I've heard as your hair gets longer the technique that you once used to style and maintain your hair changes and possible hair products as well. Loved the video 😍😍👏🏾👏🏾
About the hair being shorter on one side: my edges are thinner on the right side. I sleep on that side so I think you're onto something
Oh that's why mine are like that☠️ make sure to sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase
@@gekyumeonfroy3388 oh ok
@@damaliirish6966 because cotton will suck the moisture from your hair and will break it because it creates friction when rubbing on your HAIR
I had the same problem, I wear an edge scarf with my satin scarf now and it grew back!
I literally just watched this in awe. I am new to your channel and good Lord thats a beautiful head of hair! My low density, fne strands would NEVER
Bihhhhh. If I leave my braids in for two weeks, it starts locking up. Two months, and I'd have to go Rasta.
Your hair is gorgeous!!! I need to have a wig season !!!! You have truly inspired this 4C head of hair !! Thank ya!
That amount of hair loss is normal. You normally lose between 50 to 100 a day so 62 days times is around 6200 hair.
Here is a tip. You are supposed hold hairdressing scissors with the 3rd finger and place your little finger on the finger rest.
And yes that was a myth.
I must say I really like these braid takedown videos of yours😊
I can’t wait till i get a wig so i can FINALLY get into wig season😭😭
I love watching you trim your hair! that legit my favorite part!
that’s crazy my left side is shorter than my right too lmao
Mine too!
Same! So weird lol😂
Me too😭
Same 😂😂 it’s annoying honestly cause when when i get it cut even the left side just doesn’t get the memo when it grows back 😂
Mine is too. Idk why
Bomb hair growth and like that you shared your process with taking down your braids so I’ll follow the same routine when I take out my sewin. I’m going to have a wig made for me by my stylist and will rock it for one month and see how my hair grows along with oiling my scalp 3 times a week. Love your content as usual 💕
my hair once used to be at its maximum length 😭 traction alopecia, texturising 💀 but we coming back strong 💪🏾💕
your hair is GROWING GROWING ❤️
Sisss, you had the Shemar Moore “Orlando” braids, lol!!! Love your content sis!
wow girl ur hair has been growing soo muchh i missed those kind of videos so much!!❤
Your skin is so even😍. New skincare routine?✨

Black girls are beautiful and am proud to be a black woman.
I do have sheds alot especially when I wear my hair for too long..you are looking beautiful girl
