Building a Ship's Wheel with basic tools!

In this video I show you how I like to build a ship's wheel from birch that may not be as strong and perfect as the master pieces of talented craftsman like Bob Fuller, but usable nevertheless, and just as pretty.

Somehow I managed to mess up the numbers when I showed the wheel inaccuracy. Instead of 37mm and 41mm I meant 397mm and 401mm🙄 anyways, the point is, it is not equal and off by 4 mm.

wow very nice! How long is your tiny house boat? Have you done a float test yet?

Thank you. The boat is roughly 21 feet long. I haven't done a float test yet, but I hope I get to it this year!
