Grazie per aver dato nuovo smalto a questi immortali ed ineguagliati capolavori. Solo dall' infinito amore verso queste vette dell' arte musicale possono scaturire simili "prestazioni".
Wow! I too was introduced to Bach by Carlos' "Switched On Bach." In subsequent albums I listened to Bach's 4th and 5th Brandenburg Concertos. Finally, I bought the who set of his Concertos as performed by Chamber Music artists. When listening to these and other works of Bach, I could sit, close my eyes, and wonder if I might be in Heaven. Bach's music is sublime! And this performance of Recorders is without equal! Thank you for treating us all with the very best in music!
Brandenburg 3..No Strings Attached! Well Mr. Young you finally wrapped your head around this 1st movement as you mentioned it eluded you for a bit. Needless to say it's nothing short of brilliance what with all the numerous 8th hole closures etc., waiting to hear what you're going to pull out of your hat next! Thank you for this upload.
The musicianship and audio editing skills involved in producing these performances is astounding. And is he playing all the parts from memory? He doesn’t seem to be looking at anything in particular.
@@StevenJeNova I have to find a recording of that. I did the "third" mvt pretty briskly in another video but I wouldn't be averse to cranking it up a notch haha. There's one really tricky passage though...
If we would have been allowed real music like this in elementary school recorder class it would have been much more interesting. I realise this may have been a little difficult but they could certainly have come up with something more interesting than three blind mice.

Thanks as always. This was tricky and I did try lots of options for the violins before settling on this one. Glad you liked!
Excellent as always. You are a one man baroque orchestra. I enjoy this channel. Thanks for sharing on RUclips.
This was amazing.... And those tricky eighth hole closures were nothing short of ingenious !!
To this day, I find SOB one of the greatest recordings ever... Definitely got me hooked too.
Thank you very much for your superb performance and arrangement of this great piece.

Excelente amigo!
Nice. Woudl you consider combining whistles and recorders for some extra colour?
Se houver arranjos que puder enviar, agradeceria muitíssimo!!
Hi! You can find this arrangement at RecorderDots.com
Incredibly skillful! One question though. Will you attempt Musica Antiqua tempi for the second part? =)
If you've heard their version.
Thanks! Do you mean the third movement?
Yes. Technically it's the third. I tend not to count the second 2-chord movement. So?
