Random note: I like how you can draw a parallel between Agent Ross and Dutch: They both prop themselves up as agents of an ideology-Ross with the law & Dutch with Anarchy. Then as time progresses, they both lose the people that kept them in line- Hosea for Dutch and Agent Milton for Ross. Then by RDR1, they’re hollow men who manipulate, lie and cheat their way to their own graves at the hands of the Marston Family.
John even compares them in RDR1, even telling Ross he reminds him of Dutch; being another violent piece of shit who went and confused himself with God.
@@simonnachreiner8380 I sorta just group him and Milton as one since they both represent the law. That said, I’d say Ross is far more evil than Milton. Milton wasn’t that bad apart from the swamp raid.

0:53 Ross's voice is so... beautiful to hear when he says the names of the two protagonists. The combination of his voice and the music creates an atmosphere of tension and resentment of how Ross will destroy John's life years later.

You mean Milton? Ross doesn't speak in two apart from this scene. He gets more scene time in the original but he's barely a Cameo in two.
