Some of the things you hate are of your doing.
He's pretty clear on sayiing MY RSX, MY RSX specifically...
I have a 2005 RSX-S with 240,000 miles on it. No major problems.
ajaiiz I have a 2004 RSX with 244,000 and it runs like a champ , redlining all gears with no issues

agreed i have had mine (not for long period of time) but so far runs great and fun to drive no issues and good car.
I had the same problem with water getting into my trunk. I replaced the tail light gaskets with ones from the acura dealership and that seemed to solve the trunk flooding
I did the same, and worked like a charm
Mine did this too and i had no idea why . Wish i knew this then . I ended up selling mine too.
you have the cleanest looking rsx. I live the color. I was debating on getting one and now I definitely want one.
just sold my rsx 2 weeks ago for a tsx, as for why your rear taillights all you need is new taillight gaskets easy install and only like $10 for the pair
or go cheap and use silicon

I have an '03 type S, and I hate:
1. Hitting any bump over one half inch tall.
2. Squeeks & Rattles (damn aftermarket motor mounts)
3. Power steering lag on cold days.
4. Very little heat on cold days.
5. Wide tires rubbing fender lining.
Integra4life if you take off all your aftermarket shit and put a new thermostat you will fix 4 of 5 of those problems...
Don’t worry about the miles bro those cars will go to 300,000 easily even more with maintenance 👌🏽

clean rsx man, i put black electric tape over my airbag/abs lights. I also could of just removed the lights, but the tape was easier lol. Can't even notice it.

Jason Santana thanks man, i apreciate the love!! its a mugen front and rear lip kit.. and i had a subaru sti V lip on the front also. side skirts were some fiber glass stuff off ebay
My rsx looked like this except i had mugen side skirts chargespeed lip and mugen rear and I didn’t swap badges never liked the idea...we all know it’s a Honda so I like the idea of it being called something else in a different part of the world but basically the same
And I had retrofitted headlights and swapped to jdm rear so never had water problem
250k on mine still runs like a champ to 8k however due to mileage I'm planning a rebuild soon seems I drive 1k miles a week (oil changes every month) and Jesus Christ what happened to your seat mine almost look brand new and I live in the south where it's hot and humid 80% of the year
+rangerbob9 maybe just a bad seat or previous owner abused it too much who knows.. i also live in the south acctually south FL so i know what you mean by hot and humid lol

I'd rather do the Chargespeed lip than the STi DIY lip, personally.
Julia Adkins the charge speed lip is nice but its too short for the mugen front. The sti lip fits pretty much perfectly

I had a water leak in my trunk and i put sealer where the light seals to the body,not around the black plastic edge.
May I ask what mods you have to this car? Looks super clean and want to do a similar build. What front bumper do you have?
front bumper is stock, its just a mugen front lip. i have a walk around video that explains all the other mods
you can bypass the air bag light very easy if you want it gone all you need is a paperclip.
I know you said you have CS Style Side Skirts, but where exactly did you get them? they look hella nice

Brady Warren no i dont have cats i have long tube headers and a full Yonaka cat back but the yonaka muffler is super quiet
Brady Warren the headers are suposse to not throw code and my light comes on and off all the time lol
Your best bet is to get a tune for your rsx and jut rip them out haha.

I have almost the same miles just about 300 miles less also got a engine light for 02 sensor lol I also got a nrg steering wheel but no air back light so idk what the previous owner did to take that off Evan had water in trunk but just fixed it with silicone because previous owner did the 05/06 convention on my 04 rsx but did it wrong

On that badly worn seat, have you investigated removing the seat and have it redone? Those all wear prematurely in my opinion...let me know if you have any luck that? ..OR I am sure you have thought to get a good one from a wrecking yard...But we both know that would be expensive... another option is to get some very cool seat covers

One thing I hate is that the side skirts don't match the front lip ever.

wutdafeezi 18x9.5 with 35 offset all the way around, with 5 mm spacers in the rear.

Wish I had your problems. My timing chain was stretched and skipped. Now I might have to swap the engine depending on how bad it is.

I have just bought those same side skirt extensions and was wondering how did you install them and was it hard at all ???
CSserratos Not its not hard at all mine came in white so i painted them black and then the just screw onto your factory sideskirts super easy just dont over tighten because if they are fiberglass you will crack them
Elian Motors thanks yea I was thinking about drilling out some holes then. Bolting them up to the factory side skirts did you have any problem with them after install
i used self taping screws and it worked great.. i didn't have any issues with them

You hate something on the RSX where you put replica or knock off parts on it. Why don’t you try to put some Real JDM Mugen Side Skirts, Rear Bumper and call it a day! Wish you could buy your car back and start it right!

Splice the ABS sensor wires did that on my TSX

Elian Motors Im looking at getting an rsx for a first car, I can afford a base over a type s. Are there major differences between the two trims, I can always upgrade the base over time
TheYunqGamer the biggest difference is the motor and transmission the type s comes with only a 6 speed manual and the base model you can choose from an auto to a 5 speed manual. But if you find a clean 5 speed manual base model you wont regret it. And the engine both are k series motors just that the type s makes a little bit more power. In other words if you can afford it buy a type s if you cant buy a base model you wont regret buying it.

I just mounted it from the rear wheel wells with screws and from under the bumper were the 3rd break light would go
Elian Motors Oh sorry i ment the front diffuser i purchased the same one and have the same front setup you have but the one i bought didnt really fit. I heard i had to take a heat gun to it and bend it a little but i didnt wana risk it.
oh the splitter, I didn't have to much modification, I just lined up the center of both and screwed it on with the screws provided. I bought a 2005-2006 sti front lip. the sides i forced up and also put a screw thru it. I had to trim a little bit off the end of the sti lip for it to sit flush because it had about an inch of over hang on each side.
Psycho Blue men what splitter did you buy, because i buy one on ebay that sells magicdrift and didnt fit on oem bumper (i dont have any lip) i need the mugen lip or what can i do?

Why do you have a spoiler... its a FWD car.
ask Honda cause its OEM
At 140 kph and higher the spoiler helps to stabilise the rear end when braking and making an initial turn in. I have personally noticed that at quite high speeds 200+ kph when you have some elevation changes going on it will keep the rear end down and counter the floaty factor of the lighter rear damper rebound. This was even with Aspec shocks and Tein H tech springs so I can only imagine how much it helps on a Basic OEM suspension package.
TheDollaDan I'm hoping 1 month was enough for you to learn more and acknowledge the things about these cars. Don't bandwagon on hate. It's the number one mistake every car guy makes.
