- Building up a yard with the Hydrema 912DS. Back on the Kansas job to work on building up the yard around the house. I have about 400 loads to move with the Hydrema from across the field. we are wanting to build up and gradually slope the front yard of the house and get it where the water flows around the house from the 84 acre field. Love the Hydrema. I guess all the controls is on the control yoke...pretty cool. Rich looking dirt. Yard looking good. They have a nice shop/barn for sure.
Yes that controls the bed and rotating it plus the forward and reverse gears. Yeah it’s a really nice barn
You say *84 acres* man that is big! PIA to have to move ALL that soil so far *BUT NICE how you filmed each load differently = COOL* ! QUESTION: What is the fine line to using the DOZER over the TAKEUCHI in spreading the soil around the house then little touchup with the TAK? Lots of work that looks great! Thank you!
I needed the skid steer for a brush mowing job and the dozer can knock the piles down a little quicker. I’ll bring the skid back to really fine tune the yard
Hey B That's the same size cae my neighbor rented that I used and first time using a thumb !!! Now I'm hooked on a thumb.. to me it's a mini excavator 🌟🌟🌟🌟 but the thumb is awesome. Wish I would have had one on the Leiberer (spell check) but don't think they make one big enough. 😂😂😂😂 It's all good dirt is dirt !!!! Nice job B....

'And Away We Go!" took me, and probably a few others here, back to Jackie Gleason days so we got a big kick of of that. We could tell you were getting a little bored because of all the GREAT different camera angles.

Silly question as to why you don't use the beauty of the side dump... It would seem quicker as you are getting the the area, start rotating the bed to the house side and dump as you are moving forward... On the next pass, just dump in front or continue the line... Would that make things quicker or is there a reason not too???
It’s not as quick as just dumping it normally. You have to the rotate the to dump then back in place to put it down. Where I just back the truck up and dump it and hit the button to lower the bed back down
It would take a lot of getting use to living out there in the middle of all of that. I think the constant wind and not anything but scrub trees would drive me crazy. But that's me, I'm sure some people would love the chance to live there. You must be a patient man to work out there doing what you're doing now and keep up production. Where's the new Takeuchi?
It seems really peaceful out there but also annoying it’s so far away from everything lol. It’s been pretty enjoyable just very repetitive. It’s good I finally used it a little bit last week.
If that dirt will dry out, it should grow a really good lawn. That's a lot of dirt to move and a pretty good distance. That'll take a while. Good job again sir. Stay safe.
Yeah it seems to dry out fairly quick after you knock the top off of it. It’s going to take a couple of weeks to move it all lol

those trucks are wicked, ran one with hyrail for few years on railroad in northern bc canada
