Congrats on your recovery and return of two gold wedding rings and specially the beautiful gold wedding band you found that unfortunately or fortunately for you that you couldn't locate the owner. What a fantastic job♥️On my honeymoon I gave my husband my beautiful wedding ring to look after and protect while I went into the ocean for a swim and he stuck it in his shorts pockets I came out and laid on my towel to dry off and looked up and saw my husband in the sea swimming 😳He forgot he had it in his pocket and it when he looked it had gone😭 he spent the whole honeymoon walking up and down the beach when the tide was out etc but he never did find it. We were both absolutely gutted! I’m SO happy you found their ring 💍🙏🏼💖

I spent two days going around to places we had visited, getting a detector from a local store looking on my front lawn…then checked the garbage and it was staring up at me from the bottom of the bag!!! I really don't understand why people would wear their good jewelry to the beach and go in the water. Back in my teens and early twenties I was lucky enough to go on a number of trips to the beach and other places with some of the families that I babysat their children. One of the mothers wouldn't take any of her good jewelry with her and she wore a fake diamond engagement ring with a cheap wedding band that she left in the house we stayed in because she had lost a cheap ring she loved while in the water. She was in her teens when it happened and after that she never wore any jewelry in the ocean or in a swimming pool. After watching videos like yours it I have warned friends and family members not to wear any jewelry in any body of water because why risk losing something so precious and expensive. Bless you for helping reunite people with their lost jewelry.

My first diamond ring that my dad bought me got lost on the Florida beach. It was a white gold band with a rose in a single small diamond in the center of the rose. Have you found it yet? It was handmade buy a jeweler out in West Texas, Chester Dorner, that died years ago. I still think about that little ring.

You made a comment about your Manticore not utilizing the high frequencies when you first got it. Then our conversation went onto something else, and I forgot to ask…. What was done to your detector to fix your problem?
Hey Randy! Someone must have played with the machine at the factory and notched out all high tones. I went into the discrimination settings and immediately saw the top 25% of the VDI numbers were notched out. Kind of a mean trick to play on someone who might not know better! I hope mine was the only one that came that way!
You made that couple so happy! Cute trick you played on them too!! Maybe it’s time you went at low tide and try your luck again, you did awesome! Kudos! 🎉
That was kool dude!! I know the feeling when you find something somebody asked you to find for them. Was detecting a park in San Antonio back in the 90s and a couple asked me if the machine can find gold, to which I said yes. They told me they lost the wife's wedding ring 2 years after they got married around a certain area of the park. (Married 15 yrs) at the time I was told. Took me 3 days of hunting, and found it!! I was acting like a fool in the park. Gave them a call and I will say, it was the feeling I had seeing the look in their eyes. PRICELESS!!
