It would have been between russia and Iceland. And I honestly couldn’t tell you who would win, it’s too close, though Lithuania’s was my favorite
I think Bulgaria would compete for wining the contest but probably juries would kill her like KEiiNO from 2019

Sadly that would probably bankrupt the country and their infrastructure probably wouldn’t be able to support the 200 000+ visitors coming just for ESC..... but Sweden could have hosted it for them..

This was most quality Eurosong in history . Many songs have premium quality.Norvay ,Albania,Italy, Rusija, Germany,Iceland,Sweden, Czech Republic,Slovenia, all great songs .It is a shame there is no competition.
I was just about to write something along the lines of “WHERE ARE THE MAMAS” but then you gave ANNA that “cameo” at the end so I’m happy. My personal top 3 for melodifestivalen is
1. The Mamas, Move
2. Anna Bergendahl, Kingdom Come
3. Either Drängarna with Piga och Dräng or Dotter with Bulletproof. But if I had to pick 1 I would pick Drängarna just because Dotter blinded me at the final.
My top 5 for ESC would probably be

I liked the Mamas last year very much, but this year, i don't know... the song did not catch me at all. I was shocked that they even directly qualified for the Mello-finale.

I don’t know if you like slow song but have you heard “crying rivers” by faith kakembo? If you ask me she definitely had talent but it wasn’t enough for her to go even to andra chansen

Switzerland had the most beautifully haunting ballad. It was my winner, followed by Denmark and pure pop. I would never have dreamed Estonia would qualify never mind be in the top 10!
My favourite was Bulgaria, but my money was on Switzerland winning.

I'd have also put Norway, Ireland, Sweden and possibly also the Netherlands and Malta. Personally, I would not put Lithuania, Australia, Spain and Estonia on my list, and I'm not too sure about Denmark either.
If it were down to me, it would be a three-horse race between Iceland, Switzerland and Bulgaria (Norway, Sweden and Ireland the best outsiders) but ultimately culminating in an Icelandic win.
Edit: we do share the same "actual" winner, how Anna only finished third in Melfest is preposterous.
Personally, I don't like Norway at all. Though I like Mørland's song I think she is the wrong interpret, she shouts too much for attention, i have gotten no emotions hearing that song

The fact we will never get to see Germany come top 10 with Violent Thing upsets me.
But I think people really slept on Fai Rumore. Not only what it have probably won the juries, it would have touched a lot of people and done well in the televote. So I think Italy would have won 2020.
Malta actually was my favourite this year!!
For me the winner will be Switzerland
No way Estonia would've finished that high, I doubt that cheesefest would even qualify and Spain were most certainly heading for a bottom 5 finish again. Australia would've got jury points, but very little from the public, a bottom 10 placing for Australia and Denmark's crappy song wouldn't have finished top 10. On the other side, Malta would've done really well from the jury votes and would have been in the top 10, as would Italy. I don't get the hype for Iceland, it's a dreadful song, but I think they would have been beaten by Russia and we'd be heading for Moscow instead. Thank f*ck that crappy Anna Bergendhal song didn't win, The Mamas wipe the floor with her cheesy rubbish.

My opinion
Can’t wait until you speak after this years ESC and say that the real winner was left behind in Norway thanks to poor decisions. To who would have been the winners of ESC 2021, KEIINO.
To be honest, I won't say Keiino should have won MGP21 because I think their song wasn't as extraordinary as it could be. I was disappointed of their ordinary average song. To me MGP21 was a fair and square competition. I don't see any of Norway's entries win Eurovision 2021.
@@escswiss keiino had 1/3 odds of winning ESC, the best odds of any country. When tix won, the odds dropped from 1/3 to 1/61. Norway shot themselves in the foot, and I honestly think they did it on purpose since I don’t think they want to host next year.
@@EclipseHighroller No it happend because TIX is immensely popular among young people in norway. He's written a lot of party music, and has been heard everywhere on different party scenes.
Still, I think we shot ourselves deep, and I don't think he has a lot to offer.
I also agree with OP that Keiino wasn't the best this year. The song wasn't that special, solid, but not very unique.
Personally I would've liked to send "Jorn - faith bloody faith" or "Blåsemafiaen - Let lose"

Today, I agree with you. Last year, I didn't like the video version of the song when first listening to it.
