@@TheLostRiverDriveInActually, that was one of my problems. @@TheLostRiverDriveIn that put butts in the seats. I don’t mind trailers putting that stuff in it. The flashback scene was so well done too. The Myers house. Kills is the straight up slasher we haven’t had in theaters in a while or since.
@@TheLostRiverDriveIn it’s in the very beginning and it solved the cliffhanger. But after the year extra wait I’m glad we got that in the trailer. It wasn’t like resurrection like he just blended in with paramedics. It set the tone for how crazy the movie will get.
Hey nice re-cap Nick! I actually like it slightly more now than when it first came out. I think some of the dialogue and character decisions got to me a little bit the first time I watched it. I watch kills purely for some of the awesome kills we get and some of the tense moments like Lindsay hiding in the creek. This could be my top 3 Myers Behind curse and the 78 OG. He is literally scary as hell in every scene. This movie is even better after a few drinks as well 😂
I had a great time with Kills, but had to dock a few points for the entire "Evil dies tonight!" hospital scenes (especially the murder of Danny Devito lol). But I added points just for the fire scene alone. One of the all-time great Halloween moments. (Also loved the scene where the girl shot herself with that big-ass gun. You just know Danny had his hands all over that one. Never laughed that hard during a Halloween movie.) And you are spot-on when it comes to Halloween fans thinking their franchise is a bit more 'highbrow' than the others. Have they watched all of the movies? lmao Shit got ridiculous at times. I first watched Halloween in 1981, so I've been a fan long enough to know all the crazy directions the series has gone from the perspective of someone who's basically been there from the beginning. Anyway, another great video. New subscriber, so I'm catching up on some of your previous content. (Your talks with Cody are great.) Keep up the good work!
I love Halloween Kills just as much today then when I first saw it in the theater for my birthday gift. It is the one that made Michael my favorite slasher.
The hate is only because we went through not one, but two years of hype and the expectations were overly excessive, if this movie came out in the 80s it would be one of the biggest cult classics out there
Halloween kills is my 3rd favorite in the franchise. Michael is so awesome in it I'm able to overlook the flaws of dialogue and story. It's full on fun old school slasher
Kills is still my favorite out of the DGG trilogy. Even with all the faults, the kill scenes outshine the cringe. Favorite scene is when Michael got stabbed with the pitchfork.
I’ve always liked it I like to look at 2018 and kills as just one big bad ass movie. I never understood the hate for it and that flashback scene was just legendary if you’re a OG fan.
I like it more each time. The hype was so unreal for this film that I was expecting a life changing classic slasher. Now that I see it for what it is, I like it more. This is top tier Michael, the film around Michael….not so much..but, what do we want at this point?
i fucking loved it when i saw it in theaters, but every rewatch i get more and more angry with the dialogue and how literally every character in the movie has a line where they say something with so much confidence but are so wrong i just don’t understand. but the atmosphere and michael going sicko mode along with those flashbacks are it’s saving grace. i’ll always enjoy it but it really is hard getting past the other shit
I was fine with it till the end point on first watch, and now I'm pretty indifferent about it. I have fun with it but I'd prefer if they were consistent with their interpretation of michael, the end of kills made him out to be something more compared to 18 and ends. So I wish it was more in line with those two films, also just prefer the vibe of 18 and ends personally. Aside from that some legacy characters felt like they didnt need to be in it and theres some dumb choices the characters make that i cant get my head around.. And no its not the car scene, thats one of the better example of panic vs thinking imo. I'd still put kills in third place in regards to this trilogy, never rlly had a strong dislike for it at any point tho. Its just rlly be that middle of the road movie for me.
The hate this movie has is unfathomable, while there are aspects I don’t like such as the overload of hospital scenes and the not needed mental guy who offs himself. It’s still a damn good movie and the best myers we’ve seen.
I never understood the criticism about the citizens being so hysterical about Michael. They always reference the original and that modern people wouldn’t be that traumatic over those events. They forget that Michael killed a shit ton of people in 2018. The combination of 2018, Michael still on the lose, as well as the historical effects of the original on Haddonfield would put small town people into a frenzy. I feel this movie really captured what Dr. Loomis was warning and terrified about for all those years-Michael completely let loose with a no-holds bar killing rampage. Kills is top 3 for me.
Strangely enough I haven't seen Halloween kills yet but least saw 2018 and ends. works enough for me but grab a chance to see the 1978 flashback scene. That was good. a scene that could have been added to Halloween 2018.
Bruh Halloween Kills is the ultimate Michael Myers slasher , and he'd looked the most badass in Kills aside from very other few Halloween movies...this felt like a least a few Halloweens in 1 going on
I didn't hate kills when it came out because I seen it over 10+ times in theaters but there were parts I hated and I was let down overall but I say that to say this Kills is top 5 in my rankings sitting at 5 and it's LOCKED with the extended version including Lonnie stalking scene which was AMAZING simple , short , and SWEET
I really enjoyed it when it first came out and gave it a 6.5, there's some really dodgy dialogue in the movie which can really take you out of the film for a second, but I had no major complaints. The "evil dies tonight" chant never bothered me, it was more the Laurie "wannabe Loomis" diatribes we kept getting and almost everyone mentioning "40 years ago" - that got boring quick. I prefer a more stalker creepy Myers than the version we got here but it was still great fun to see - it was different but I liked seeing it ( for a one off). I still have fun watching this movie, it's just a really re-watchable Halloween flick. I stick to my original 6.5 rating. I loved the beat-down recovery - Myers being beaten up gave me a lump in my throat. His retalliation was epic lol. I just have great fun watching this thing, the score is epic again, Myers looks amazing, I really liked Lonnie's character, some really cool set-pieces and kills, a serious vibe - I can't help but like it.
Awesome video Nick hope you're well my awesome friend . Halloween kills is my favorite out of the trilogy . the only thing i don't like is the Evil dies to night bs . # Evil never dies it only changes shape .
Actually Halloween kills had some steaks because of how Michael wins by the end of the movie but I do agree that this film didn’t have much of a story but it did have some steaks. Because Michael killed almost everyone by the end of the movie.
Always liked this one and never quite understood the vitriol against this one. Michael is bad ass and the opening is superb! My only complaint is the "Evil Dies Tonight" triad, very corny but doesn't ruin the film for me.
I fully admit my dissatisfaction with this film stems from my own expectations. I read the script months in advance and found it to be really good and was hoping any reshoots might iron out issues I had. Overall i like the film, but the scale of the script was missing and I felt those sillier moments just didn't work, as well as the cutting of a couple notable scenes in the script. For example, the final attack on Michael reads so much more epic than it is in the film. I think if they made a few story tweaks, and fixed the odd pacing and red herring bits, this could've been the best since 1978 in my opinion. It's still in my top 5 but I genuinely expected it to be leagues better. My ranking is 1978, H2, and 2018...then a big cavern...and Kills and Ends.
This is my thing with Kills: i find it either misguided or dishonest to say Kills has no plot. Its actually a more ambitious plot and story than 2018 and 78. This is my two reasons why i say this.. 1 Halloween 78 is lauded by hardcore fans for its simplicity, so its pretentious and hypocritical or them to demand or expect "more of a story" to begin with. 2 Kills builds on the questions of 2018, answers them and asks new ones. Dave asks the danger of one man with a knife in 2018 adn Kills answers. 2018 assumes Michael is after Laurie, Kills confirms thats not true. Its also a narrative thread from 78, based on Loomis' warning to Brackett about not alerting the public to Michael's situation. The killings are impactful and teh difference is Michael was made the protagonist. Also, "Evil dies tonight" isnt said much in the movie actually. Especially considering its a matter of hours and in real life slogans live for months or years with protesters, its such a silly complaint. So no, my mind hasnt changed on it, i loved it from the first watch and still do.
I don’t actually mind the chant much, but I can’t not mention it. I know it’s a reason people don’t like the movie. The plot of Kills is immediately undermined by Ends. Everything it seemed they were setting up, was immediately tossed aside. Which, I was fine with. So I guess I just look at the plot attempt here as pointless now. But again, that’s not a problem. I didn’t need it to be super deep or anything
I loved Kills the flashback to 78 the mask was awesome the burned mask Micheal Myers was brutal in this movie 🍿 great kills a fun Slasher movie 🍿 I had a damn good time with it
Don't sideline Laurie. Get rid of "Evil DiesTonight." Change both these things and I think the overall fan reaction to this movie would be like 90 percent different. There's also the aspect where -- at least in the spaces where these movies are talked about online -- the promotional and behind-the-scenes discourse can get mixed up with the critical discourse around the movie itself. For some reason a big talking point on Reddit leading up to this film's release was about whether Michael was "supernatural" or not. The filmmakers threw gas on this by insisting that he wasn't -- and while I think what they were trying to signal here was that the series wasn't gonna be going into Cult of Thorn territory by positing specific explanations for Michael's abilities, the way most of Reddit seemed to interpret this was as them saying, "Nah, bruh, he's just a normal guy." Which of course led to more arguments. Then the movie comes out, and they've got Laurie spouting quasi-mystical mumbo-jumbo about how "the more [Michael] kills, the more he transcends." People prolly shouldn't be taking crap like this into the theater with them, but I think the confluence of all this HAS shaped the online discourse surrounding these films. For myself, I loved Kills when I first saw it, watched it multiple times in theaters, and have softened on it somewhat over the years. I get why people don't like it, but I think Michael's look and overall portrayal here are as menacing as he's ever been.
I was really disappointed with kills when it came out and I’m still there with it. Visually, it’s fantastic and the flashback scenes were awesome. The movie is all over the place otherwise. The hospital scene specifically is awful and the dialogue is awkward throughout. Still doesn’t keep me from owning multiple copies and watching it multiple times a year lol 🙃
I like Kills, Michael is brutal. I also love the dialog during the firefighter scene. When they go into Lauries house one guy says "Let's go we got a fire in here" Lol. Ends is terrible worst Halloween movie ever, worse than Resurrection.
I have basically the same opinion on Halloween Kills as I’ve always had. It was fun, and very surface-level entertaining. But it’s super flawed and feels clumsily made, especially in the writing department. Of the DGG Trilogy, I think the 2018 film stays truest to the intent of the original Halloween.
Of all of the filmsin the new trilogy, THIS was my favorite of the 3. Why? Because it has a cool opening, i liked the Loomis part alot( i wish we had more of that) the kills are friggin brutal and a killer set up for the next film which they screwed up royal.
Don't shoot, I'm not Michael 😂 But my ranking favorite to least (although they're all good) is Ends, Halloween, Kills. Kills is a fun time but it just isn't my favorite of the trilogy. It's more of a popcorn flick for me.
Also, “evil dies tonight” mob bs was intentionally ridiculous because it was satire on how people become erratic and idiotic within a riot. It’s a great film imo
I can’t say is this is the reason why a lot of people was upset at movie howling kills by David Gordon Green. He’s a friend of mine and I like the idea of trying to bring the story to an end somewhere but And a new modern take to the series or franchise of the Halloween movies and the only reason why I believe that Is a fact that David greens never seen or watched Halloween resurrection b and a lot of people still like this movie I know I did not do quite as well in the box office but that does not mean it is the worst. No people enjoy this too and I don’t see why people say oh it’s the worst. We have to hang on this one and watch it for continuity purposes they all count except for the idea and the truth is about howling kills. Keep saying this. And chanting Evil dies tonight evil dies tonight evil dies tonight. Evil dies tonight. Evil dies tonight evil dies tonight. That never really lied. They go after the wrong person so I don’t hate on movies because I go in and see them and actually enjoy them just like that silent night deli night came out. And I was at the age of 4 years of age, I grow up in the 1980s But I don’t mind that movie and when passion of the Price came out Isis movie in the theaters, I cannot make out one single word. I didn’t mind that movie at all because it was about God and Jesus all that and a lot of people don’t like that movie because it was Over the top with the violence tend to agree a little bit you don’t need to have a violent movie order to make a good horror film But how many kills I am fine with that movie you don’t get to see torture. You don’t get to see the Gore, the blood, the guts who you get to see some so often, but not all the time put the tenders about that movie. I just see how people can be not happy with it, looking on what they coming and this is all I have to say about it I guess because I don’t have too much more to say about it because I don’t hate that movie. I can understand people come home when they were upset by. It was your bikes tonight crap mental patient done that. but I am actually fine with the movie because for my love heart, John Carpenter and his Holly movie from 1978 classic horror film but I do have to say this I can’t understand where they’re coming from but you’re stupid and they should not be whining over a movie like this and then as good about the wreaking of the movies I just can’t do that Because I don’t know how to rank them and it is I just love movies in general won’t matter what genre and all all kinds of them out there except for the ones that will suck like those of them and round off comedy list stand in reason and be straightforward with it or that will just fly off the rails and just be ridiculous to be funny and early else before so laughter and I have been on. I hate that but I’m gonna end it here and say I am just fine with it because at least David Gordon Green did try his best , it’s not like he ruined the timeline or is he like that then he should have watched how resurrection and then take the story from there since he did not he’s going to do his final story. I will go back and cut off the ones that he has done, so I am not sure which one is Canon and what not , the Halloween express timeline train just don’t exist like that or just don’t work like that around thinking that was Ken and I was not hate that I don’t like people externalizing On these films no they’re all candidate except for Rob zombies reboot movies I’m missing it. They are that bad. No I’m not fine with zombies version of Halloween. Do I’m watching his story where his how long 2 has well just not Taylor Conant Been in the movie has Sam numerous and Michael Myers still getting them back and still be looking for Lawrence strode but you will find out from Sam Loomis that she’s not alive anymore because cop accidentally shot her to death By accident, an end that one Sam luminous Malcolm, McDowell was stabbed in the stomach and never shot in the heart or stabbed in the heart. No, he was just stabbed in the stomach and the top. In the stomach and the tops are only shooting out Michael Myers with over 125,000 V then he went down. I was thinking with all that shooting. It looks more like he is not dead only wooden him many times and then college with him being dead I don’t think so. So why will they be more mad and upset and be hateful towards Rob Zombie more than David Gordon Green and his? How kills why should they have all the fun? I don’t see any reason why people should be mad and upset and being hateful towards kills instead of embracing it, it just don’t make sense. That way used Rob Zombie as an example because he has a great guy. If you get to know him as a way than I did You would know him as I do then how it kills would not be prevalent to the story, but David Gordon Green just wanted to go back to the basics and fine with that just not going told the people that was involved with the salt film franchise that James WAN and I am fine with these kind of movies when people can’t handle horror films because of the gods to go and the blood then watch it at the plane About it, but as far as I know, these movies is just made for our fun and entertainment and made for us to watch and enjoy me. People will be killed and tortured. No, I mean I don’t care about that anymore. All cares as well. The quality and quantity of the movie Was My Alley, Star Trek related Star Wars related yes, I would go. I would watch it was a horror film go and watch as long as it’s fiction people things access to horror, films, and watch again there all of them and that will not be me. I’m eating it right here now and if you want to use my comment and , a video go ahead. I don’t really care as long as people respect my opinion about these movies is awesome in my eyes after part of the series and franchise. I said no problem with it would but I don’t. Have a problem with it at all feel free to use my comment in a video And God bless
My opinion has not really changed. I still think it is a pretty fun slasher with some great kills but there are some annoying aspects and character decisions.
The story is completely incoherent and has absolutely zero rationale. "Evil dies tonight" remains even more cringe worthy with the passage of time. What works is the cosmetics of the film. Myers looks great with his burnt mask and some of the kills are done creatively. But story-wise this is as bad, if not worse, than Halloween 5. And there are allot of fans for Halloween 5 too. Diehards choosing to like this now should not surprise anyone. People with a strong allure towards the franchise will always bow eventually to the weakest of entries. I think the only movies that have not enjoyed that allowance are the Zombie films. I think those two movies are so stylistically detached from the main series, that its easy to just say none of them are canon.
Halloween Kills remains a top choice for me, despite a couple of scenes that seemed unnecessary and cringeworthy. Evil Dies Tonight.. 🤦♂️ Michael Myers truly captured the spotlight.
I loved it upon release, and I still love it today. It got the most important aspects of a Halloween film right: Michael, the mask, the kills and the atmosphere. If you're crying about the script or you wanted some emotional depth, you're in the wrong franchise. Kills is the clear #3 behind OG and 2018. DGG trilogy is the best thing to happen to this franchise since the OG.
After being extremely underwhelmed with Halloween 2018, I was so excited when this came out and loved it. Does is it have a storyline? No, but it’s a fun slasher. I felt like they nailed it with the 1978 flashback and there are some great kills in this one. I think the only thing I don’t like about it is the “evil dies tonight” chant. It was fine when Marion said it, but we didn’t need anymore after that.
My mind has changed, i liked it at the theater but since then i liked it less every time I’d watched it! At this time is one of my least favorites in the franchise

@@TheLostRiverDriveIn that put butts in the seats. I don’t mind trailers putting that stuff in it. The flashback scene was so well done too. The Myers house. Kills is the straight up slasher we haven’t had in theaters in a while or since.
@@SlasherInSuits tease it, don’t show the whole scene! lol
Never laughed that hard during a Halloween movie.)
And you are spot-on when it comes to Halloween fans thinking their franchise is a bit more 'highbrow' than the others.
Thank you for subscribing and I hope I can keep entertaining you!
I love Halloween Kills just as much today then when I first saw it in the theater for my birthday gift. It is the one that made Michael my favorite slasher.
Easily my Favorite of the Trilogy 👌 This and Ends Are my All time Favorites ✅️
The hate is only because we went through not one, but two years of hype and the expectations were overly excessive, if this movie came out in the 80s it would be one of the biggest cult classics out there
Halloween kills is my 3rd favorite in the franchise. Michael is so awesome in it I'm able to overlook the flaws of dialogue and story. It's full on fun old school slasher
Kills is still my favorite out of the DGG trilogy. Even with all the faults, the kill scenes outshine the cringe. Favorite scene is when Michael got stabbed with the pitchfork.
Hey Nick quick random question have you ever seen Set it off ? I would love to hear a review on that one even though it’s not horror
Awesome video man
I was fine with it till the end point on first watch, and now I'm pretty indifferent about it.
After watching Ends, Kills was a masterpiece!
I loved Halloween Kills and 2018 a lot, ENDs was where it turned into assjuice for me.
Strangely enough I haven't seen Halloween kills yet but least saw 2018 and ends. works enough for me but grab a chance to see the 1978 flashback scene. That was good. a scene that could have been added to Halloween 2018.
Bruh Halloween Kills is the ultimate Michael Myers slasher , and he'd looked the most badass in Kills aside from very other few Halloween movies...this felt like a least a few Halloweens in 1 going on
Michael is at his apex in this movie FOR SURE
Kills was really altered, and I blame Covid for that
This is my thing with Kills: i find it either misguided or dishonest to say Kills has no plot.
Its actually a more ambitious plot and story than 2018 and 78. This is my two reasons why i say this..
1 Halloween 78 is lauded by hardcore fans for its simplicity,
so its pretentious and hypocritical or them to demand or expect "more of a story" to begin with.
2 Kills builds on the questions of 2018, answers them and asks new ones.
Dave asks the danger of one man with a knife in 2018 adn Kills answers.
2018 assumes Michael is after Laurie, Kills confirms thats not true.
Its also a narrative thread from 78, based on Loomis' warning to Brackett
about not alerting the public to Michael's situation.
The killings are impactful and teh difference is Michael was made the protagonist.
Also, "Evil dies tonight" isnt said much in the movie actually.
Especially considering its a matter of hours and in real life slogans live for months or years
with protesters, its such a silly complaint.
It’s in my top 5 and I gave it a 8/10. Take out the hospital scenes and it might be higher. It’s my fifth favorite in the franchise.
THE moment that stands out to me most (in a bad way) is the woman randomly saying “EVIL DIES TONIGHT” in the waiting room. Just absolutely cringe
I've always loved H kills , for me it's the GEM in the trilogy.
It’s a blast!
I loved Kills the flashback to 78 the mask was awesome the burned mask Micheal Myers was brutal in this movie 🍿 great kills a fun Slasher movie 🍿 I had a damn good time with it
And that’s all the movie was trying to be! And it succeeded in that
@@TheLostRiverDriveIn yes it did !!
Don't sideline Laurie.
Get rid of "Evil DiesTonight."
Change both these things and I think the overall fan reaction to this movie would be like 90 percent different.
Then the movie comes out, and they've got Laurie spouting quasi-mystical mumbo-jumbo about how "the more [Michael] kills, the more he transcends."
People prolly shouldn't be taking crap like this into the theater with them, but I think the confluence of all this HAS shaped the online discourse surrounding these films.
For myself, I loved Kills when I first saw it, watched it multiple times in theaters, and have softened on it somewhat over the years. I get why people don't like it, but I think Michael's look and overall portrayal here are as menacing as he's ever been.
The inferences of Michael’s supernatural nature were laid on THICK. And then abandoned
‘18 definitely stays closest to the original, I can’t argue that
Of all of the filmsin the new trilogy, THIS was my favorite of the 3.
Oh there’s absolutely nothing of substance with this movie lol. Nothing. BUT, I do have fun with it
Also, “evil dies tonight” mob bs was intentionally ridiculous because it was satire on how people become erratic and idiotic within a riot. It’s a great film imo
Hey, I love Kills lol. No hate from me
@@TheLostRiverDriveIn awesome 👌🤝🔪🎃💀
It hasn't left the bottom of my ranking and I don't see that changing. The one film of the series that i genuinely dislike.
Rip Halloween Kills lol
Kills is a movie I like less the more I rewatch it whereas Ends is a movie I like more the more I rewatch
I do love the Ends appreciation lol
Big John and Little John was the best
PERFECTION
And chanting
Evil dies tonight evil dies tonight evil dies tonight.
I didn’t mind that movie at all because it was about God and Jesus all that and a lot of people don’t like that movie because it was Over the top with the violence tend to agree a little bit you don’t need to have a violent movie order to make a good horror film
But how many kills I am fine with that movie you don’t get to see torture. It was your bikes tonight crap mental patient done that. but I am actually fine with the movie because for my love heart, John Carpenter and his Holly movie from 1978 classic horror film but I do have to say this I can’t understand where they’re coming from but you’re stupid and they should not be whining over a movie like this and then as good about the wreaking of the movies I just can’t do that
Because I don’t know how to rank them and it is I just love movies in general won’t matter what genre and all all kinds of them out there except for the ones that will suck like those of them and round off comedy list stand in reason and be straightforward with it or that will just fly off the rails and just be ridiculous to be funny and early else before so laughter and I have been on.
Have a problem with it at all feel free to use my comment in a video
And God bless
A very heavily misunderstood movie tbh
Kills rocks.
My opinion has not really changed. I still think it is a pretty fun slasher with some great kills but there are some annoying aspects and character decisions.
Pretty spot on
Kills has the best Michael Myers
Halloween (2018) = The Force Awakens
Halloween Kills = The Last Jedi
Halloween Ends = The Rise of Skywalker
Yes 😂🎃
Well damn, not for me lol. I don’t like TROS 😂
@@TheLostRiverDriveIn I meant in quality and how each are almost made alike.
This is exactly 👍 what I thought
Oh this is Myers at his best. This Myers could absolutely take Jason. Idgaf what Friday fans say
No doubt about it, this Myers is a force to be reckoned with against multiple Jasons, including the undead ones.
I have nothing but great memories with Halloween Kills. It’s not perfect but it’s still a ton of fun compared to its predecessor.
BINGO. 18 tried way too hard, and only delivered a half assed legacy sequel. Kills said screw it
Im about to unsubscribe at this point
I liked the movie when I first saw it I still like it the only thing that i didn't like to much evil dies tonight
Pretty common thing to dislike, don’t worry haha
I loved it upon release, and I still love it today. It got the most important aspects of a Halloween film right: Michael, the mask, the kills and the atmosphere. If you're crying about the script or you wanted some emotional depth, you're in the wrong franchise.
Kills is the clear #3 behind OG and 2018. DGG trilogy is the best thing to happen to this franchise since the OG.
DAMN! That’s some high praise for DGG! I respect it. This trilogy gave me two movies I genuinely love, so, I’m on board with it
After being extremely underwhelmed with Halloween 2018, I was so excited when this came out and loved it.
EVIL DIES TONIGHT
@@TheLostRiverDriveIn oh don’t you start 😂
I do think Kills is the weakest of the DGG trilogy but I do think it’s a lot of fun and Michael killing the firefighters is a badass scene.
I’ll die on the hill that it’s better than ‘18!
@@TheLostRiverDriveIn I love them both! 😂👍
I actually liked this one for the action and the flashbacks. And big Jim/ little Jim
The comedy actually worked in this movie! As opposed to ‘18
My mind has changed, i liked it at the theater but since then i liked it less every time I’d watched it!
At this time is one of my least favorites in the franchise
Ohhhh the opposite direction? I don’t hear that often, but I get it
@@TheLostRiverDriveIn Have a similar experience with H18, it’s mostly the dialogue and annoying characters that ruin H18 & kills for me
And funnily i have the opposite experience with Ends, I hated that movie at the theater but now i really like it
Halloween Kills has not changed, it's a piece of shit that has horrible writing, horrible dialog, terrible pacing, horrible subplots, wasted legacy characters and the new characters are mostly terrible and brain dead! This movie is a piece of shit, it might have a good score and good cinematography and a great Michael with great kills but it's still a piece of shit and all the plot really is, is Michael walking across town!
But see, the movie embraced its dumbness and delivered on the action. So, I dug it. But as I said, I completely understand why some don’t. Like, it’s obvious haha
Nope, I still think it's worse than Ends and 2018
Color me surprised haha. You don’t hear that often. At least you like Ends more! lol
@TheLostRiverDriveIn kills isn't terrible at all. The throwback scenes were amazing, and the kills were brutally awesome, but idk, man, it just didn't grab me.
Nope... The 3 new ones are still and always will be incredibly stupid.
This one is on purpose though lol
I still feel the same way about this film as i did before, storyline was mid but the kill scenes were awesome and Michael is a total unstoppable force of evil in this movie
I like kills . Ends had a interesting concept but the execution was bad and I mean bad. I was actually disappointed with blumhouse. I will say I was fine with ends ending. I just wish they would do something with Jamie lyod where Danielle Harris takes the reigns and becomes a killer herself. Don't even make her related to Michael.
Ya know, I hear that a lot, but I wouldn’t hold my breath on Danielle ever coming back. That bridge has been torched
@@TheLostRiverDriveIn I think she would . I mean she did come back for rob zombies film and she seems to love the horror genre . What we really should be asking is who should write and direct it? Maybe Scott derikson?
