  • I could not find a good video on how to setup and use the vestibule that comes with the bereg up tents so I made this one. I hope it helps someone out there trying to figure out how to set it up.
    This also has some information on how to fix the issue with the jack's not lining up correctly.

    Yes, Thank You so much for the guided video instructions on the vestibule. I was getting so frustrated on how to get it put up right. Got it to zip to the tent but had a hard time trying to figure out how to get the rounded pole to attach to it. Now I know thanks to your info. You have more patience than I do. Very very helpful. I hope to get out this winter and have another adventure. Best to you.

    Very helpful. Before I saw your video, I had my vestibule set up squared, it worked but. My poles came together and snapped into place. Wouldn't snap easily, so I left them unsnapped. Going to try to redo it correctly. Also had no idea what the extra poles were for! Thanx again.

    Nice vestibule. I have the RBM 3x2(6'wide x 9' long) vestibule, poles are built in the vestibule...no poles to insert. I might buy the small vestibule in the near future. Thanks for the share 👊

      That's the big vestibule. Things awesome. Can store an entire snow mobile in it. It's too much tent for my needs but it would cool for a base camp setup.

    Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I just received my UP2 (Oct2022) and it did come with this same mini-vestibule. And just as you said - no instructions. We will be setting up the tent for the first time this weekend, and this tutorial is just what I needed. The mini vestibule is perfect for firewood storage, and as you say, a mudroom.

    I had ordered my tent last Christmas but it was running very late for delivery. I contacted them 2 months later to see if it had shipped and was told it had not yet. They said as an added incentive for waiting they would give me the vestibule for free. Don't know if it was already supposed to come with it or not. The tent, stove, and insulated flooring arrived and I am happy with it. Now I can put up the vestibule. Great tent. I now love hot tent camping.

      It came with the tent. They have a larger vestibule that can house a snow mobile. That's the one you pay extra for.

    Stove thing need a air gap to act as a insulation. I got the up4 dex only comes with a trap for the front door. It's nice tho.
    Why are you taking hot wood out of the stove? Everything burn down it pure white ash in the stove. It's leaves zero waste. Just wake up and scoop out the ash befor starting up again.
    When your leaving use a branch to clean the stove pipe a little . Few brushes knocks out most it.
    Cheers

    • @AbundantAdventures
      @AbundantAdventures  Год назад

      Great idea on the branch. I don't know why I didn't consider that before. Thanks for the idea.
      As far as the hot wood or coals go, you are right again about that, however, I don't usually leave first thing after I wake up. I usually run the stove to make my coffee and breakfast before packing up mid morning to afternoon depending. So that's why I always have hot coals in there when I go to pack up.

      @@AbundantAdventures yes bud anything to make it easier. Pick up the stove and dump it out. If you got the back door use that . More you use the tent the better it gets. I got one last year and I still learning and slowing making it easier.
      Cant wait to try it ice fishing. Never tried last year 😪

    Can you please tell me what the diameter of the stove jack rings? Planning to have a woodstove made. Planning on a 4" pipe

    • @AbundantAdventures
      @AbundantAdventures  Год назад

      I don't have it out right now so I don't know for sure but I can check that out at some point. In my opinion with the way the layers work and lining them up and then factoring in possible wind...I wouldn't go with a 4inch pipe. The 3inch pipe on the caminus stove I use is about all the room it can handle. The caminus pipes are 3.2inch I believe. I wouldn't go more than 3.5inch if I were you.
