Hi jay oh my goodness this is what I needed sat watching you from my hospital bed after total knee replacement surgery , this is the best medicine, this video was brilliant you and your mate work so well together and it was great to see you survived the night with out a heed of bison charging through 😂looking forward to the next one god bless stay safe love and best wishes sue j xxx❤❤👵🏻🇬🇧🏴
RBM tents are a great products. Like their stove designs too. Always a treat for a Jay video. Missed a winter with UPNORTHOF60 hope to see a video soon.
What I love about these tents, you have a floor to them. I watch some other "campers" in S. Korea and every tent they use either has no floor or the floor is separate for them to lay out once the tent is up. I love the fact that these have floors as part of the tent.
Yay! We got a video from Jay! It was awesome seeing you camping in the natural surroundings you love so much with your good friend. Your dinner looked delicious.
Great to see that you both had a great time camping by the lake it was a shame it was so windy. Anyway thank you for sharing at least Jay while watching this I did not feel so cold I know that you like the snow and freezing climate for me anything below 10 degrees is to cold for me as I live in the UK .I only like the hot climates. But Jay really looking forward to your next one
The benefit of a smaller tent is, its a lot easier to hea up when its cold. Can you put up some drying strings? It could be nice with a stove even in summer, if you have some rainy days it helps drying everything.
Hey Jay great video,,I also recognize the other guy,,I use to watch alot of his content as well,,it was good to see you unit with him,,I enjoyed this content very relaxing..😊
Thanks for that Jay. First time for me to 'meet' Dave - someone who obviously knows what he's about lol - but the bugs, man? THE..BUGS!! SOOO many bugs. Hate Bugs, and that's coming from someone who lives near London/UK where there are about four and a half bugs (if I don't get 'em). Looking forward to next winter already, but will obviously watch your bug-riddled vids until then. Out of loyalty only, mind you!
Totally relaxing and to share it with your friend is also awesome. This is different and yet it is amazing to see another place in nature. So quiet and serene. Stay safe, cool/warm, and blessings.
I've had those gnats turn my motorcycle brown so many of them. Then eat my neck off between my helmet and my jacket. Tough little critters. Nova Scotia. good vid
Hi Jay, lived and hunted in Nunavut for years now, and we have always used our Canvas tent right into the -50s for the breathability. We're still using our green Coleman Naptha stoves up here. Have you burned those in the UP tents at all? The issue with the Eskimo pop up tents is the massive amount of condensation build up. You wake up in the morning and once the tent gets up to temp it just starts raining inside all over your gear with the huge amount of condensation melting. The convenience is what lead me to buying an Eskimo tent in the first place though, setting it up at 50 km/h winds v.s. snapping another wooden tent pole with my canvas tent made it quite appealing! The drawback being the condensation because of the lack of breathability. Suffocation / C02 build up is also an issue burning Naphtha stoves all night in an Eskimo tent vs our Canvas. I know you lived in Nunavut what is your thoughts on the UP tent as a mobile hunting tent that you know we are primarily going to be burning Naptha stoves in for long hours?
Hi! I have used naptha Coleman stoves for heat in a canvas tent as well. That was when I was in NU. Personally, I think it's safe to say the UP tents will sweat, too, with that type of heat. When I used gas stoves for heat, everything would get condensation. It's unfortunate there isn't a simple dry heat solution. A generator could power a space heater for a long time, but then you are dealing with a generator in minus 50.
@@jaylegere Thanks Jay. The other question i didn't ask was what do you think about the pole mechanism durability. During summer and fall you're beating it across the nuna on quad and as you know i'm sure its very rough everything takes a beating up here.
hello Jay another great video please remind viewers to take their garbage and waste home it doesnt take long to leave these campsites as they found them
That was a nice video You must feel a bit safer not being alone especially seeing those big paw prints Always like the drone shots It’s good that it was windy otherwise those bugs would all around you Take care and keep up the really neat camping videos 🇨🇦❤️
Glad you got to do some camping. It's nice when you've got someone with you to share nature. With bears around, I think I'd have something more than bear spray. I'm thinking about a gun like Jesse Ventura used in the movie Predator. Then, I'd feel safe.
The one I got has the stove directly in front on the entrance. This tent is not for tall person. I am only 5'9 and already head, feet touching both walls.
Nice tents Jay is that a lake or the ocean your champing by ? Its to bad that we need to pick up trash these days it happen here in the states also keep the vid.

Great to see the 2 of you out camping. I sure missed Dave's usual season of winter camping videos from this past winter.
RBM tents are a great products. Like their stove designs too. Always a treat for a Jay video. Missed a winter with UPNORTHOF60 hope to see a video soon.

I definitely love those RBM tents. Great quality. The steak looked delicious.
Cool tent. I definitely have a different definition of tiny though. That tent is gigantic compared to what I use. lol
Great video Jay! That is a very nice tent. Nothing like spending some time in the woods with a good friend. Cheers
Daves Tundra has a pretty awesome front bumper. Nice tents. Food looked real good.
Another great camping video. Good company, good food, and good fun.

I have the Sputnik with the wood stove and it’s a great tent. Enjoyed the video!
So nice to see you, and happy to see you not alone. So glad didn't have to wait for winter for you to appear, lol. Great video.😊
Awesome Jay. Happy to view another video from you. Great Collaboration.
Nice to see you again Jay, you don't do things by halves......... Look at the size of that truck, you'd need a step ladder to get into it 🤣🤣
So glad to see you back Jay. Hope to see more of you and your videos. Love the Russian Bear tent. Such quality
Jay you should a spider for taking foods out of the fryer
Great to see you again. Brrrrr that looked cold but dinner looked delicious

video thật sự rất hay. chúc bạn luôn may mắn
Hoping you and your family, friend's, community are not at risk of the wild fire danger that is devouring your country. So scary. Be safe, be well 🙏

How heavy are they? I have the up2 mini and I would say. It's about 80 pounds, but these look like you could backpack with them, could you?
Awesome vlog 👌👌👌👌
When you said "stakes" it sounded, to me, as you said "steaks"...
Makes me angry how people just leave their shit lying around, all but the bison, hard on top and soft underneath ❤
Nice work 😊 Af mr
44 mag would be my bear spray
Nice tents Jay is that a lake or the ocean your champing by ? Its to bad that we need to pick up trash these days it happen here in the states also keep the vid.
Jay -- this is driving me crazy. Can I teach you how to tie some more appropriate knots?
شكرا
We're is Vivian ?
The tent not so much. If I'm doing a 2 to 3 day camp, I want a very simple set-up and take down tent!
Jay what happened to Dave's channel?
Isn't there a fire ban? our country is burning, dude.
No fire ban. Conditions are low here.
first 😁
Would not promote or purchase anything Russian
The people are just like us. It’s the leaders who are the problem.
Why not you buy from China?
Don’t confuse the people with the government. They can’t help the government decision.

You watched and commented. He made money from your view and comment. You supported RBM.
Use dung for fires lol. That's how many ppl heat for themselves in Asia. Gross but true !
