    Great review, am looking at one for this fall/winter.
    Does rain come in through the stove jack? I see there is space between the stove pipe and jack...
    Thanks.

      I have not ended up in the rain with it yet. I imagine you would get some in heavy rain. It really is the best tent for winter camping you can buy. But very heavy

    That tent is dam straight awesome. I always thought about getting a tent like that. I do have the US. Army cold weather tent. But not the easiest tent to set up. Great video thanks for sharing! MC&TT 🐆🐆

      Honestly until I see something better will have to say it is the best tent design in the world. But its not something I will be backpacking out in the woods lol. Thanks for the comment

    I'm going for the Pentagon for me and my dog. Lots of room, which get's filled up fast in winter. They are great tents for sure.

      Nice! I know if it was more than just me I would have got a bigger one but I'm perfectly happy with the mini. There's just enough room in the mini for one person with plenty of room or two people as long as they're friendly. It's just too bad that with everything going on certain things you can't get for them now. Thanks for the comment and views, I hope you stick around and subscribe. Have a great night.

    Nice video...Did the vestibule come with the tent or was it an additional cost? You didn't mention if it was part of the tent. Because i know that the UP2 doesn't have it.

      The mini-Vestibule was extra, but got it at a discount as part of a package deal when I got the tent. In hind sight I would have gotten the Universal Vestibule for the option of more room. Very cool tent but damn heavy. Thanks for the comment and views.

    Looks like a great tent but why are you wearing a balaclava inside an 80 degree tent ?

    • @charlesartificer2158
      @charlesartificer2158  Год назад

      It is a great tent, heavy and bulky but awesome. As for the Balaclava..... It's actually a mask. It’s just that masks are terribly comfortable - I think everyone will be wearing them in the future. Thanks for the comment and views. Have a great night.

    I would actually liked to have seen the actual setting up

      Sorry about that. I tried setting up a tripod to film it when I did it but the cold killed the battery of the camera while I was setting it up so that's why there was no setup footage. Thanks for the comment and views

    Is this "made in China"
    Really want to buy it but try to avoid Chinese products if possible.
    Does it actually say "Made in Russia?
    Thanks for the review.

    80 degrees and you are wearing your murder mask?.😂 What stove are you using? How much wood do you typically burn through?

    • @charlesartificer2158
      @charlesartificer2158  Год назад +1

      Well, you never know when you might need to murder someone. Winnerwell nomad medium stove. Not as much wood as you would think. Started off with a pile of cut wood to length for the stove averaging 2 to 3 inch's in diameter and piled about a foot high in a pyramid stack would last overnight and part of a day if you dampen the stove down. Just note I was using dry hardwood black walnut. Using softwoods you will burn a lot more. I have reviews and mods for the stove on my channel. Hope you sub and stick around.

    BUYER BEWARE! This tent frame's sliding mechanism is defective from the factory and broke off in my hands upon initial set up. RBM'S answer for a fix was to send me a replacement part that didn't fit. If I can save one person from the nightmare that I went through, this comment is worth it.
    DO NOT PURCHASE!

    Truck conveyence tenting system R us😂 WOW! that thing is baddass. That's like that over built Russian knife sharpener that's more than $1K. That's a 2 person? Holy gods imagine a 4 or 6 😂
