    Long time listener first time caller!
    I'm just about to pull the trigger on the same setup you have...I agree completely about the water boiler. I may be mistaken, but I believe it's that size, because of it can be used for the sauna. I'll stick with my kettle and have more surface space.
    Blessings🙏
    Scott.

      Thanks for the call and I'm glad you've been listening. It probably is that size for the sauna, but I would have preferred something attaching to the side so I could remove it from the heat so it doesn't just boil away.

    Great tent my only problem with my up-5 is the brute strength it takes to setup. It’s heavy.

    • @AbundantAdventures
      @AbundantAdventures  Год назад

      Haha yeah it's heavy. But atleast the umbrella design makes it quick. There are a few tricks to making it easier to setup for sure. I actually struggle hard-core the first time putting it up but then I figured it out.

    I was curious which distributor you went through to get the updated version of the stove. The improved air-flow controler on the door is a nice improvement. I got to say...this was an amazing video. Truly one of the best overviews of any product I've ever seen. Thanks A.A.!

      Thank you for your kind words Kevin. I ended up getting mine from bereg-canada.com/. However, right now they have a 90 percent tax to ship to America because of the sanctions.
      You would want to contact hot-tent.com/ to see if they have the new updated stove. I am pretty sure they do, but have yet to update their photo's. I don't know why they would still be selling the older version, but I could be wrong.
      Those are the 2 reliable places to get the stoves from. If you buy on amazon, its coming from the same place.
      Best of luck getting the stove :)

    That tent is HUGE! And that’s what ya need for a growing family.
    I’ve been thinking of getting a hot tent, but not so grand🤣 just a two or four man tent. I love that stove but don’t begrudge the water heater, better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.
    Great video and Happy Birthday Camden🎂 (I hope I spelled that right👼).
    Oh, May I suggest a first hot tent camp out? If the ice is still good, Big Island on Raquette Lake.

      We went to big island for this trip last year. Such a great spot. I want to hot tent and ice fish there at the same time. Would be fun.
      ruclips.net/video/OdSUYrMhPa0/видео.html
      The size of the water heater I guess isn't the biggest concern. Just that I can't heat it up and leave it. It will boil and evaporate into the tent. I don't mind the extra moisture in the air. But I also like my winnerwell one where I can have it off the heat if I just want water ready when I need it. I will admit I think the reason for the big tank is because the stove is designed to be used for a sauna if you wanted. I wanna try that some time. Hahaha

    This review was helpful and I purchased one of these on Black Friday. Waiting for it in the mail. What’s your solution for drying the tent out after a wet/snowy trip in the winter?

    • @AbundantAdventures
      @AbundantAdventures  9 месяцев назад +1

      It just barely fits in my garage. So I put it up in there and let it dry out.

    Water heater can make you happy if you want to make a sauna in your garden, you just need to put rocks on your stove and then pour hot water on them(i know because im from the east) by the way if you try this with cold water it may damage your stove

    • @AbundantAdventures
      @AbundantAdventures  2 года назад

      Yes, I've seen someone do this recently and thought it looked nice. I might have to try it. Thanks for the tip on using warm water instead of cold! I wouldn't have known that.
