HOLY CRAP ! I didnt even know this was possible , getting the different tones and detail with the same pen .... Let alone in a Blue Ball Point ! Great Job ........ Thank you for sharing ! (1/6/17 view date ) .....
i love this one because its with a ball point pen and everything from the shadow to the hair and even Jason's serious look is just perfect. You should keep posting vids like this you've got yourself a new subscriber.
Amazingly done. Tried drawing with ball point pens and never thought could draw anything good. But this showed me anything can be used to create pure art
Absolutely Amazing. I want to learn how to paint and draw portraits but I can't. I am able to draw everything else but a portrait. I may be 14 but hey, I like to draw and I got skill. I just wish I was able to draw that good though.
HEY. let me get real with you for a moment. Even the most greatest, beautiful, and amazing artist out there have gone through this point but you know what. They never let their passion and patience down even for a second. Even you can be and artist just like him/her you don't need skill but passion of what your doing to create what you love most.
@lauren2397 haha Thank you :) please consider voting for me in the on-the-rise contest (see description) basically my video could be spotlighted on youtube's main page.
Bluedoodloo im agree with u everyone says that its talent they think that its so easy these great works is possible with only talent they dont know how do artists try😶😶😶😶😶😶😶😶
Talent is not always the answer mate. It's patience , hardwork, sacrifice, passion, practice and love for your work . You have to polish your talent, if you wouldn't it would just be useless. You don't learn to draw in a night. It's the tough process you have to go through...
Great drawing. I started drawing this year with black gel point pen. It's good to see what is possible with just one pen colour. I like pen because its cheap to buy a pack of them and it forces one to concentrate and get it right the first time which helps me learn quicker. I'm inspired to be working on the shading more after seeing you in action, its good.
Watching you draw these portraits is a hypnotic experience. I get so transfixed, that if you made a two hour movie of you, just drawing, I wouldn't move.
Probably not as you can see in the start he/she places in those lines. He/she probably has a reference and is using the reference to place down important relations.
Just no. It makes me upset that there are people like this in the world. When I try this it looks like a 3 year old has drawn a potato with eyes (😶)and then scribbled it out. Great for my self-confidence... 😕😢
+Max White lol idk whether you realised or not, but I was being sarcastic - it's an amazing drawing and I get that people like this practice, calm down mate.
Sassy Stuff i'm calm, I AM FUCK**** CALM!!!! ;-) Well thing is there are so many people who think it's all god given talent, where in reality most of it is practise practise and more practise. (which I find somewhat insulting towards the person who worked so hard to obtain the skill) I'd even go as far as saying really alot of people could learn to draw potraits like that if they set their mind to it...
Bruh. This person wasn't sent from heaven and was born with a pen in their hands to draw god himself on paper. These artist have been through a lot to push and achieve their style and goals through the patience and pain they've endured. Who knows maybe you to can achieve something bigger than what your watching now if you stop looking at what you can't do. P.S singing and art are completely different things to achieve but you do you boo
Fabulous and extraordinary work: 1) using an erasable pencil to draw a good portrait is amazing already, as it needs good skill, many practice, and talent. 2) you did a beautiful portrait with perfect proportion and eye expression with ballpoint pen! 3) the music rhythm matches the video process perfect. Good taste on music too!
You are so gifted, for real. I watched this in awe then thought as I watched the second time around... You're like watching, a human injet printer. Wow!
@rijumi5 most time i do use some kind of visual reference, but just as reference since I modify, add and change it as i see fit but there is usually some kind of reference.
Really impressive. What totally blows me away is the sheer size of the portrait. The bigger it is, the harder it is to keep the proportions right. Impressive.
God you're amazing, most artists you see have the best arts and craft pens, pencils, colours etc but you can just pull out a 0.20c pen and still produce something amazing!
Wow!! I can't believe that you can actually put the size proportions on paper without any tracers.. I learned the cross-hatching technique last year in 7th grade and it was soo hard for me to get the shadowing correct. Also I had to use the erasers a lot. So you can tell how mind blowing this is for me that u used pen! This is super amazing!!
It amazes my how u work I'm just a 18 year old artist who has attend all art classes including ap and won a couple awards and have a piece bought but I can't wrap around the idea how u picture and frame your work and come out with realistic results in any media as see fit ur defiantly some one I could have good conversations with when it comes to learning
I'm a fantastic artist myself (other peoples words, not mine) and I have to admit, I have never gotten that busy with a ballpoint pen before. Spectacular technique man ! That was a joy to watch.
@My2Cents I asked a question and I for one care as I am practising drawing everyday for the past year. He didn't specify tools used other than pen so I was curious.

No matter I feel good or not, to watch your videos always makes me feel better, and also feel amazed, amused, calmed, lifted... Thank you!
That is absurd. You literally only get one try to nail the cross-hatching, but you make it look easy.
For your first time... it was superb as freaking always. Love your videos. Thank you for sharing❣
can you please have a tutorial about how to shade using ballpoint pen!
alphonso dunn has plenty of tutorials related to that
it's basically how you'd do it with charcoal, or pencil, you just go darkest point to light it's hard to explain lol
Another fantastic piece Glider. Such an absolute pleasure to watch you work.
Thank you!
I can smell this drawing...
Haha
Then you are a dog for sure.
Just kidding
@@scientificartchannel3146 woof, woof...

Jesus christ that's Jason Bourne!
Jason Bourne wot? Is that sexual harassment?
What the duck
Amazingly done. Tried drawing with ball point pens and never thought could draw anything good. But this showed me anything can be used to create pure art
Got my eyes look like this --> O.o
And my mouth look like this --> O
And i sound like this --> Whoaaaa
My goodness! This is perfection! Matt Damon is alive in here! :)... This is amazingly awesome portrait!
Absolutely Amazing. I want to learn how to paint and draw portraits but I can't. I am able to draw everything else but a portrait. I may be 14 but hey, I like to draw and I got skill. I just wish I was able to draw that good though.

. Fgteev
@Basomic lol when i draw this i was thinking more of the "Bourne" persona, but GWH is awesome movie too.
This looks more like Matt Damon than the real Matt Damon
I love your work. What truly sets you apart is your ability to capture the essence of that individual. Fantastic.
this is the most difficult form of artwork
As if you would know, filthy dummy

I envy talent..
It's not called talent. It's called practice, passion, patience, pain, and satisfaction

Wow. No room for errors especially with a pen.
Watching you draw these portraits is a hypnotic experience. I get so transfixed, that if you made a two hour movie of you, just drawing, I wouldn't move.
did you draw from memory
Probably not as you can see in the start he/she places in those lines. He/she probably has a reference and is using the reference to place down important relations.
Incredible to see artists with such talent. And fantastic music to go with the video! Keep it up!

+Max White lol idk whether you realised or not, but I was being sarcastic - it's an amazing drawing and I get that people like this practice, calm down mate.

This is easily one of my favourite portraits of yours. One day, with heaps of patience and practice, I'll have the same skill as you :)
I once dreamed of being able to draw this well. I'm just glad I get to watch you do it. The detail reminds me of an old world lithograph.
The artwork was amazing, but I also really enjoyed the music. Very soothing and ethereal...

Appreciated for such a hyper realistic drawing .I am speechless 🤐😲😇😘😎🙏

When they were handing out talent you clearly went back for seconds, thirds, forths and fifths. simply astounding!
hmm, interesting technique at the beginning mapping the face out. What's the technique called? What are the basics to it?
amazing work!
