I really felt the pain personified. In awe, it was probably actually painful to play, meaningful, and an emotional piece. I appreciated the additions of my favorite X Japan songs. I feel like Yoshiki really let us see the pain that was felt through performance. Imagine going through the past playing these songs in the kind of pain you went through? Such dedication to the art of expression.
I've been playing the drums for around 40 years. About 14 years ago I had to have a C6 - C7 fusion. Degenerative disc disease. I was in the US Navy Band at the time and got 3 weeks off to recover. Glad I did it but it comes with life long pain but not as bad as it used to be... good luck in recovery. Interesting solo concept.
I'm four months after C4-C7 fusion, which cleaned up 30+ years of damages from my time in the Army jumping out of aircraft and carrying my bodyweight on my back...I've been a fan since the first X-Japan Import album I picked up in high school and I'm overjoyed watching you perform your craft again...

One of the few times I thank RUclips algorithm, but this video was suggested a few weeks ago. I clicked on it and I was like who the hell is this guy. Fast forward two months ago, I’m still watching X Japan old concerts and recent videos of this magnificent artist! Passion and love permeates through my iPad. Parachute accident several years ago. Broke my neck and spine (7 places). Rehabbed and continued jumping out of perfectly good airplanes while in flight because I love it. Don't believe everything Doctors tell you as they always err on the side of caution. Keep following your passion.

@@arazzacassandra3057 Well I can say American rock is far superior to Jap. rock. This guy uses very little rudiments if any. I heard a roll once on the snare drum. Other than that, everything was single sticking. His base drum ability was pretty good. We have drummers that can do it that fast WITHOUT a double kick.

I love your ability to convey your feelings through music. Whether it be pain sorrow sadness or anger. That capacity for catharsis makes those of us who see and hear you play feel that we can also let go of those feelings in music. Seeing Yo-chan play the drums that way is one of the things that calms me the most, besides singing or playing the piano, when anxiety invades me and my head feels stunned. I love you soo much! ❤

One of the few times I thank RUclips algorithm, but this video was suggested a few weeks ago. I clicked on it and I was like who the hell is this guy. Fast forward two months ago, I’m still watching X Japan old concerts and recent videos of this magnificent artist! Passion and love permeates through my iPad. Now I have to figure out how to see him live!
Parachute accident several years ago. Broke my neck and spine (7 places). Rehabbed and continued jumping out of perfectly good airplanes while in flight because I love it. Don't believe everything Doctors tell you as they always err on the side of caution. Keep following your passion.

i didnt get the tempo which is suck for me but his kick is insane , is he suppose to hit those drum like that?

@@arazzacassandra3057 Well I can say American rock is far superior to Jap. rock. This guy uses very little rudiments if any. I heard a roll once on the snare drum. Other than that, everything was single sticking. His base drum ability was pretty good. We have drummers that can do it that fast WITHOUT a double kick.
Yoshiki is from an unearthly beauty. If he came from outer space it wouldn’t surprise me.

I love your ability to convey your feelings through music. Whether it be pain sorrow sadness or anger. That capacity for catharsis makes those of us who see and hear you play feel that we can also let go of those feelings in music. Seeing Yo-chan play the drums that way is one of the things that calms me the most, besides singing or playing the piano, when anxiety invades me and my head feels stunned.
