Astound Broadband (RCN Wireless) in Chicago issued us TiVo Boxes (FRC1?) For Streaming cable service. This helped, as i didnt think of just saying 'No' to get another Samsung Remote Code. 2nd code was all it took. Thank you!
I'm notngetting this message. My tivo remote simply stopped working. Tried reset and pairing instructions and neither work. Light goes red then nothing.

Question for ya: my TiVo was working fine, remote as well .... LAST NIGHT. Tonight however I grab the remote, turn the TV on & I see a screen saver on my screen (which I normally see) ok, but here's where lies the problem.... I push the "down button" (in the circle area) on the remote to "wake it up" & nothing happens on the screen, but on the remote a blinking yellow light that blinks perfusely for literally 51 times!! (yes, I counted). Actually, If I click any button, it'll blink yellow (amber) "51" stinkin 'times! I've tried GOOGLING the issue, read something about "ir mode?" & read the "how to reset the remote" by holding Down the tivo button & the circle button (next to the Netflix button) for 5 seconds & wait for it to blink red... Fail! In fact didn't do squat. I restarted The Tivo itself, no luck, Changed batteries (in fact I actually thought initially the blinking yellow meant the batteries were bad lol No-ooo!) I NEED HELP! PLEEEEASE?!
I repeated this procedure 5 times with my 2012 Samsung TV and still the dreaded NOT AVAILABLE message persists. How many different Samsung codes are there?
Sorry to hear... I would think 5 times should be enough. Did this remote ever work with this TV?. I definitely got mine to work with a Samsung of that age without issue, maybe the 2nd or 3rd try. That said, since I published this video I have several friends with all sorts of remote issues with this device, to the point they swapped out the TivoStream 4k with a Chromecast w/GoogleTV.
@@CordCuttersLI - This is a new EStream 4K box provided by my cable company that uses a Tivo remote. It has given the NOT AVAILABLE alerts since day one (that go away like yours did). The same box in the other room with a newer Sony TV is fine. The functions still work on the Samsung - its just very annoying to have the alerts.
