Another great video 👍 Hope to see more testing and reviews of other radios soon! You definitely know what you're doing!

Thanks for the kind words. I'd do more radio testing if I had more radios to test. My channel is to small to attract companies to send me stuff.

Wow, very impressive, clean RF performance Nick. Looks like this is a very fine radio for the money, with just the noisy display issue for them to resolve. And maybe a tweak or two to make the power level setting more accessible, things like that.
Interesting, using the acoustic signal generator like that!
Think you gave them their money's worth on this honest, thorough review.

A lot of radio for not a lot of money. Very decent transmitter, shame about the receiver. Used to use the acoustic sig gen for opening repeaters in the days of 1750 Hz tone busts. thanks for watching Joe

Hi there. Thanks for this very informative review. Do you have any recommendation that’s better than this radio, both ham/ gmrs capable without this spurious noise ? That is also affordable, loud and clear speaker?

Hi there, glad you found it useful. The only handheld radios I have are the various Chinese ones and to be fair to them they're all fairly good for the cheap price. If you want something significantly better I'd be looking at either Icom or Yeasu but at a much higher cost. Thanks for watching

The first H8 was terrible, only down 3-12dBm down on the first harmonic. After reviews they added filtering for generation 2 and now it's clean. TIDRADIO has become the China hallmark.

Shame they can't fix the display issue that radiates RF noise
