Hi Joe, great channel! I have the Oracle Touch as well and just started using it Sunday morning. I'm still scratching my head on why they have buttons for lattes, flat whites, when it just extracts single and double shot espresso shots. My guess is some of the settings are different for milk steaming, etc. Just haven't used it enough yet to understand why. I've also heard that the hopper will get warm over time and it will lead to inconsistent grind doses and sizes. Have you experienced this?
Yeah if you look the froth levels are different on the milk the flat white has a lower number the latte has a higher number and the cappuccino has an even higher number
Joe I need some advice, my 26 year old son wants a espresso machine for Xmas and I have about 1000 to spend do you have a good recommendation?
Definitely two very different “machines.” I don’t care so much for the Breville line. But as you say, some prefer those.
So it seems Breville bought Lelit this year?
That is correct earlier in the year. Same with baratza so im looking forward to seeing the future of all three companies
I have the 1st gen Oracle and it can froth manually because it has the leaver on the side which the new one don't have, most of the time I froth automatically except Sundays when I have more time on my hands.

Yes the breville does manual frothing I have one
How do you do manual frothing on the oracle?
@@JoeyVaracalli you select the drink pull the steam wand out on the Milk it should say manual mode it's in the book I'm in Australia it could be different
@@annettesingleton736 likewise, always manually steam, performs pretty well.

That is an absolute steal 🤯 had my Bianca for 6 months now and I don't see myself using any other machine at this point.
@@JoeyVaracalli nope in Europe it's just cheaper and it's discounted even to this day in local coffee shop. It has been made in april and it's v3... Cool
