    There IS a manual way of frothing! It’s in the manual. Pull the wand out and press the milk button for 2 seconds. AND you can adjust the dose weight too.

      @@JoeyVaracalli … ah, have you fixed it?

    • @JoeyVaracalli
      @JoeyVaracalli  Год назад

      @@TW-iu9zy no unfortunately. What happens is once the steam boiler is hot it just releases the steam and I can get it to stop. Probably still a good machine just not quite a work horse like one of the e61 competitors

    Well I had done extensive research on several brand of the Super Expresso Coffee Makers and actually had it narrowed down to the Jura Ena 8 and the Gaggia Babila. And then I watched this video LOL. But I was wondering can you actually tell the difference in taste between this machine and say the Gaggia Babila? As I like the ease of cleaning on both of these machines as apposed to the lengthy process of cleaning on the Jura systems. Thanks for any advice.

    Around 8:30 you mention that you can change the pre infusion time. We can’t see the menu in the video, can you detail how that is done? I can’t seem to find that in my menus.

    Great review. Really surprised they didn’t step up the number of grind settings with the price of this machine. Of course, even their stand alone grinder doesn’t have a lot of settings either.

    • @JoeyVaracalli
      @JoeyVaracalli  2 года назад

      Yeah that’s easily the biggest downside is the grinder itself

    You can manually froth. Pull out the steam wand and press and hold the steam button on the screen for a few seconds and it will begin. However you have to manually stop it as well so if you are used to the auto steam which turns off at your pre-set temp you need to be aware that it will keep steaming. I didn't know about the adjustment for shot time and pre-infusions within the presets though. How about a product link for that milk pitcher. Thanks!
