This is so sad Shem, the thing is black people have family and community whether they are in townships or villages, there is always someone who can look after them. Praying for this family , I think the department should have helped the grandson with documents, the old lady said he doesn’t have a name. If he could be assisted, n be in a position to get a job n stability she would be willing to go to an old age home.
The government should help this gogo with proper treatment, she can't afford medical bills, everything else I think the family can afford, they just need to be mindful, R3k plus gogo's socal grant is enough to improve their life here and there, it's too much for just food honestly, R1500-R1800 can go towards food and the rest of the money can improve other things
Pls arrange transport for her cos now she feels she can walk but abt the day she's not feeling well.Lets not use the word stubborn ,no one understand her frustrations abt going to the hospital. She livong under fear.
