@Jim Jim McMahon of the 85 Bears kinda proves otherwise. Watched a documentary where they showed his brain healing. I think you and Google both made a mistake in thinking treatment is the same thing as a cure. There's no cure for cancer, just treatments. Treatment for Benoit could've been as simple as psychological therapy, medication used for patients with psychotic episodes. There's stories of him acting crazy before the murders, so he could've at least gotten treated for that. That's why pedophiles will always be pedophiles. They'll investigate the thoughts of pedophilia, but they won't treat the narcissism that typically causes it. If you can treat the symptoms, you can treat CTE.

I’m proud of him for not letting what his father did as well as the outside world influence him. He could of changed his name and chose to distance hisself all together to give hisself an easier time but he chose to go a very difficult journey and keep his last name and fathers name alive. Look we all know what happened and I’m not excusing what Chris did, but regardless his career up to the that moment speaks for itself. Back then though CTE diagnosing was in its infant stage if at all. We didn’t know or take what is now seen as someone essentially going through a shit ton of car accidents regularly seriously. Now in 2022 and especially with what we’ve seen with some NFL player incidents (not just the suicides but the murder suicide incidents) we are learning more and more how brain injuries can change who a person is. It’s the reason why a lot has changed in the NFL and in most wrestling companies too. Not saying I’m going to kill my family but as a person who has suffered too many concussions let me tell you it’s times I see shit that isn’t there, I get severe migraines, I get dizzy, I forget shit mid sentence at times and will completely forget what we were talking about. It’s not severe and doesn’t happen on a regular but enough to notice it. My issues are mild compared to what I hear others who either are active or retired from wrestling, football or boxing go through. So I do have a level of sympathy to those type of people.

God Bless Him! Couldn't imagine what he went through back then & has to continue to live with all because of Chris's Unforgivable Act! He always seems so calm & collected in every interaction I've ever seen of him! Glad he seems to be doing very well!

Chris Benoit made people laugh and cry,he made attitude era better i wish Chris would have taken long break and relax then if he took care of his...
He would have survived until today.I feel sad and creeped out.listening to his music WWE theme it makes me feel creeped out.
Paul Heyman did him dirty I've lost all respect for him after insulting him, paul doesn't know about people with mental health problem.

People need to realize it wasn't just Benoit that did what he did he was probably on decades of ped use, and what comes with the wrestling industry caused him to commit those actions.

P.S. is no one else freaked tf out by this dudes smile as they're talking about an entire family being slaughtered? And then at the end he says "HIS funeral" as if C. Benoit was the only one that died

It’s only a matter of time before AEW hires him and lets him call himself Chris Benoit Jr.
Controversy sells and they’re classless enough to do it. They’d probably put him in a death match against Plumber Moxley with pillows and exercise equipment in the ring as weapons just for the views 🚮 #disgusting

What Chris Benoit did was awful... Well beyond awful... But he was one of the greatest wrestlers back then and paves ways for the newer generations... He deserves a spot in the WWE hall of Fame.

i feel like his dad couldve been too. (and/or ocd)
growing up in alberta canada like him though i know a lot of boys who are the same way and definitely are autistic or undiagnosed autistic. but honestly, i think being autistic isnt as uncommon as people think. it might just be more obvious in this case because canadians are already more antisocial and awkward when in conversation with people they dont know.
