This turned out beautifully! I just got my Cricut Explorer 2 and attempted my first time, making stickers with the sticker paper that came with the machine. It took me two tries to make them perfect. I made a few mistakes, first not pinning up the paper right, second measuring where I wanted and how big the sticker would be! My students were right next to me making sure I didn’t make the same mistake three times. Undoubtedly I run out of paper but the students got their perfect sticker which I saw you used this peor for your labeling bottles. The students enjoyed coloring them. Thank you for your tips and ways to used this machines. I can’t wait to started making more projects and also I want to get the cricut mug press. I love the cricut iron-on 9x9.

Here is the note from Cricut: Tip: If your material is not listed here, try a test cut with a similar material setting, provided the thickness of your material is less than less than 2.0 mm for Cricut Explore Air 2. The maximum thickness can also vary with the rigidity and density of the cutting material. You can use magnetic sheet but always do a test cut first. help.cricut.com/hc/en-us/articles/360009504773-Which-materials-can-I-cut-with-my-Cricut-smart-cutting-machine-#explore-machines

DO NOT try to calibrate with a phone/tablet. This nearly made me lose my mind. The printer kept shrinking the size of the printout and I didn’t know it. Also there was no setting to have it print to size from my phone app (that I could find). I use an Epson ET.
Print it out from a pc. You can have it print to actual size. Took me several hours to do this. I tried everything from forcing it to download firmware just in case and a ton of other stuff.
Just use a pc lol OR make sure you can set size (not just fit to page or with boarders) for your printer via phone app.

You would do the print then cut method. jennifermaker.com/print-cut-cricut-transfer-tshirts/

How do you save and close after calibration?

You choose what lines are best and the program walks you through it.

Amazing tutorial. But I'm confused, I though adding bleed is for something without a white border, cos the color 'bleeds' a bit and this was no white lines will show. But ur design has a white border so why choose bleed?

I chose best quality. There is a white border so bleed is not needed. jennifermaker.com/diy-fridge-magnets-with-cricut/

Jeniffer, does your envy printer have an ink tank or the regular ink small cartridges? I had an Envy HP 7640, but even though I just to buy the XL printer ink cartridges, either they would dry or run out of ink really fast. My money was escaping from my pocket like crazy, so I gave it away and purchased a canon with a tank that makes me happy.

It uses cartridges. I don't really use it a lot, so the ink lasts me a while. Sorry to hear you had issues with yours!

Can you cut magnet with explore air 2

The roller wheels on the Explore Air 2 are not movable like they are in the Maker. When I used the Explore Air 2 for magnets, the roller wheels made marks on the magnets.

Yes, you can totally make them to sell. I just was thinking of people making them for themselves when I was recording the video. My apologies for the omission!
