Kevin White sounds good. And Good QC is a must for me. I like the specs and color so I’d love to get one. I think they come in seven string and purple burst or something. That’s the one I want

I own one and its my favorite guitar. I love the neck shape and its sound. I also own a Mayones Duvell, a bunch of Ibanezs, Cort, BCRich and it is still my favorite one. For these specs and the playability the price is more than fair!
Great review on this, love Keith’s work and this guitar is definitely a true reflection of that. Given that you mention how clear and piercing it sounds I’d love to hear how this thing sounds played through the Fortin Cali plug-in, given that it has so much bottom end, I can’t help but think they would compliment each other really well.
Also just randomly I had a look at your sub count and damn, awesome work dude. I remember you saying back in an older video that it’d be awesome to hit 8k and you’ve tripled that.

Schecter has really been knocking it out of the park with their import production models lately. I absolutely loved the SLS Elite C-7 I played earlier this year. As a super happy owner of a mark 1 KM-7 I am so sold on the new mark 3 models.
I can't believe you got rid of that Evil Twin. I got rid of one as well for an Ibanez Jiva. So sad..
Schecter is killing it John Browne, Aaaron Marshall and Keith Marrow. Man I remember back when I was a kid and it was like Syn Gates was the only metal guy people recognized playing Schecter. I thought they looked goofy ( I was also like 11) They have come so far.
Ahh...I am so close to buying the 7 string model. Just having that final think about it as I've never spent that much on a guitar before. Like you mentioned, the price is up there. Not unreasonable for the spec but it's not the insane value you get from some Schecters. More like a great guitar for a corresponding price from everything I've read/heard. And I do think it will be absolutely perfect for my playing style. I love my Reaper-6; the ultra-slim neck, the resonance of the swamp ash body, the look of the woodsy finish and the feel of the set neck. Seems like the KM-7 has this basis and takes it to the next level.
I think what might convince me to go for it is finding out that the KM-7 Artist model has just been discontinued. And presumably the KM-6 will be too shortly. It's been replaced with a 'Legacy' model that has Lundgren pickups...seems as if Keith Merrow has switched. The multi-voice Fishmans are personally one of the selling points of the Artist model for me, and surprisingly for a Schecter this new Legacy model doesn't even have coil split. Also I prefer the blue crimson finish of the Artist, and the swamp ash body too. So gonna have to take the chance and get the Artist model soon if I want a brand new one.
Think I'll be selling my Ibanez AZ 7 string to fund it. It's a beautiful guitar but aside from the buttery smooth feel of the stainless steel frets, I prefer how my Reaper-6 feels which is like 1/3 of the price! Just a shame that I got my AZ at a ridiculously low price but the KM-7 Artist seems to hold its price in all the UK retailers I've checked. I can only find the black finish version you tested the 6 string variant of here £300 cheaper at Thomann. But I definitely prefer the blue crimson finish, and I would feel better using a UK guitar shop rather than international, regardless of the free shipping. One of the only bad reviews I read of the KM-7 said it came from Thomann.

I gotta admit that rendition of floods pulled at my heart strings a bit... I currently have a km6 in trans white and a km7 mkii in natural finish with the active Fishmans and they are awesome. I can't wait to try one of these new ones!

I love mine, it's awesome! I still like my Solar more though and I'm sure the the fact I swapped the stock pups for the Killswitch Fishman set is the reason. This guitar is definitely a close 2nd for me. Great review man!!

Man, it’s like I picked up my KM7 Artist and reviews just started dropping everywhere for them! I can’t believe Schecter put this thing out. It’s spec’d exactly how I’d want a Mayones or something similar. And it’s gotta have my favorite neck profile ever.
Just ordered mine on a whim after the Banshee Mach 7 didn’t turn up due to the model being discontinued. I’m hoping the guitars as nice as these comments make it out to be
This sounds and looks like... perfect! Just a bit less bass frequency but it must be the thin body and the custom voicing... one thing i realised is how Much Better fishmans are sounding with the hf tilt grounded! Something to check out Ray!!! Thanks and see you around man

I definitely was surprised and hesitant to spend custom-build kind of money on a production model guitar. After reviewing the specs, I felt it was actually a pretty decent price considering what you'd pay to have the same thing made by Kiesel or something. 9-piece thru-necks are pricey, stainless steel frets are nice and fishmans aint cheap either. All things considered, the price-point is incredibly reasonable.
You play alot like me too the way you hold the guitar when sitting. Lol
What about the KM-6 MKIII hybrid????

Would you recommend this guitar for an intermediate guitarist? I like playing alot of killswitch n trivium like stuff. But not a very technical player yet. Only ever played on an acoustic really. Found this guitar for like 800 bucks. Juat wondering

@@a_storm_inside7026 the snowblind model is one of the hybrid's. New they're around 1400 so 999 mint condition is pretty standard. If you find the Artist version (the one he's using in the video) for 800, throw your money at the seller and run.
Just received mine but unfortunately it's going back, the finish on the neck binding is peeling off , before I even played it I noticed it didn't look great and there was some bubbles in clear coat like rite where binding and fretboard meet at the 12-14th and 1st-3. Now it's flaking rite off and looks awful, also the nut is cut too deep on the 6,5, and 3rd strings and yeah I know how to fill a nut and re file but I'm not doing that on a brand new 1800$ guitar. I'm a huge schecter fan and been wanting this guitar for over a year now and now I gotta wait again and try a different one out. I just hope the next one is ok fit and finish wise and doesn't need any major work. Been hearing bad things lately about schecter qc and I've experienced the same so we will see

How's the build quality? I've been thinking about buying it for quite sometime bow but I had a very VERY experience with the KM6 Mark I (I had to send it back twice, it had so many major flaws!). So I'm on the fence here...

Ah yes the Schecter Hesperian. I think Keith got a little too close to the BRJ design on this one. Sick guitar none the less. Unfortunately it seems to be one you need to personally try before you buy. Lots of odd QC issues with these.
