I have 4 schecters and they all inspire me more than a basic bitch LP that I’ve seen everyone and they’re uncle in a rush shirt play. Not a dig at you. But your rant about mojo is mad subjective. Figured I’d point out that the mojo they give off appeals to me quite a bit. Love all the black and grey and gaudy looks. They are what BCrich wish they were.
@@LukeDKramer awesome looking forward to getting my hands on them, I’ve been liking some Bogren packs lately but I’m always looking for new flavors to keep things interesting.
I’m one of the only guitar players in my local scene that still plays six standard tuned strings. If your bass player has a five string and utilizes the octaves instead of just shadowing the guitar positions with a four string, he can essentially riff-down when you riff-up, and your music can occupy sub-woofer frequencies without being tuned down. Hopefully this comment doesn’t sound like a foreign language or fall on deaf ears...
@@alexandermueller4115 he deactivated everything to focus on his mental health and his music projects without distractions and I totally respect it but it’s like a bad breakup for me lol
I have had mine for almost 2 years now and can say I still have played nothing better. It plays itself. Stays in tune constantly. Sounds absolutely perfect. Thank for showing it off to the world for Keith and Schecter guitars.
I have the km7 Artist, same finish as you. It´s really insane. Plays really good, the choice of voicings ist great and so on and so on. Can´t recommend it enough
I have a KM7 MKII, a KM6 MKII, and a KM6 MKIII standard (it has predator inlays so I had to). The only nicer Schecter I've ever played (and own) is from the last run of JL-7s. So if you can't go Loomis, then go Merrow.
I fund the MK-III artist to be worth every dollar spent!. The thing plays and sounds phenomenal. Keiths signature Fishman pups are versatile as hell. I'll go the KM, no competition. I've played the MK-III artist and almost walked out with it. (I came across a well priced 80's Pre Lawsuit ESP).
Got mine Friday went up to sweetwater to check it out and take my blue aura burst home... when my rep and I took it out of the box our jaws dropped.... no pictures will ever do these justice
Picked one of these up yesterday in toxic smoke green holy shit. The thing just doesn’t stop chugging I said it down on the stand and it keeps chugging on its own it’s possessed!!!! Currently my absolute favorite guitar, to play the neck, his so fast and smooth. I absolutely love it. Schecter really hit the ball out of the park with this one.
Great video! I own both guitars and they are both killer!... Visually, the KM7 is more appealing to me, but I think both are just as great, it´s down to personal preference.
I have the km7 mk3 hybrid, was a little reticent about the maple fretboard and the fact it has only 3 pickup voicings with no coil split, turns out that laying down rhythm and playing a lead over the top with it is a joyful experience as the voicings are balanced so well, the neck pickup cuts through whatever filth you put into the rhythm track, gorgeous guitar…..
Congrats on 100K... well-deserved! This is a super underrated channel for sure. As for my Schecter choice, it’s the Keith Merrow for me. That 9 piece neck is gorgeous.
I love having 7 strings because it makes it easier for me to jam along to some song I like without being like "well it's in e or d standard, cant do it"
Congrats on 100K Hunter. I think both Schecters absolutely kill it - but I have a soft spot for the KM3 as I think Keith is a great guy and both Evertune and Fishmann puts it just over the top for me.
I've had my KM7 MKIII Artist for just over a year now. I absolutely love it. It is my first 7 string, and I struggle to not play it every day. It's incredibly well speced, it feels amazing, and and it's beautiful. The pick ups are very versatile. The low output grunt for the nasty high gain filth. The PAF middle position for more grunge brown sound, and killer single coil tones. The Banshee is cool, but I wouldn't give up the KM7 to keep the Banshee. Keith, and Schecter designed a hell of a guitar with the MK3.
I've been looking at getting a new guitar for a long time now. Ive owned a 2 Shecters before so i thought maybe id look at a brand i haven't owned like Ibanez. But no other company packs so much into 1 guitar for the price. Never been disappointed by a Shecter.
Considering you don't change tunings very much and record more than play live, I think the Banshee is probably better for u, since it's impossible for it to go out of tune. Its also way easier to install Fishmans if you want them than it is to install an Evertune.
That neck has me actin up. To be totally honest, if it's good enough for Keith, it's almost certainly going to be a fantastic instrument. Man know's what's good.
congrats on getting to 100K that's amazing... i play a wide range of stringed instruments, normal, extended acoustic and electric and by the look of this video i would play the the Keith Merrow sig, as it does not have a evertune bridge and you can obtain different tunings a lot easer.... keep up the good work =)
i was one of the people spying on your sub count the day you last uploaded a video and was so happy that you finally hit 100k. I think it is absolutely stupid that the guitarists with 1mil subs do vlogs and no decent reviews. that's why my two favorite guitar youtubers are AguFish and Trogly
I had both the banshee and the km7 artist and I kept the km7 mkiii. I found that I bonded with the km7 SO much more. Plus I think the Merrow fishmans fir me sounded better than the lundgren pups. So ya, I recommend the km7. My only gripe is they should come with a case or gig bag or something!! U can get a Japanese prestige Ibanez for this price and get a fitted HSC, so that’s my only gripe
I may be biased, but the Banshee Mach is such a mean and capable machine. I have a Mach 7 ET in the same finish as yours, and I can't put it down. Its very versatile considering its specs, and oozes its own unique charm. That being said, the KM guitars are no slouch in their own right, I just can't justify an artist guitar unless it has something I can't get anywhere else. Just my $0.02
KM7 all day, hands down the dopest guitar schecter makes. I had a C7 SLS Elite and it was insane. One of buddies who’s played and owns a lot of nice guitars said it was the best guitar he’d ever played. I disagree because I like my telecaster more😂. But schecter is a great brand.
After much deliberation, Id have to go with the Banshee. Thats Evertune. I love Keith but I realized thats the only reason I was leaning towards his, not the guitar itself.
Hunter! Killer review as always my dude. I actually ended up picking up that same exact banshee a couple months ago based off your review and I have zero regrets. The evertune was the main selling point for me. I do agree with you though on the aesthetics of the Keith Merrow looking a bit better. Keep up the great content and congrats on 100k subs 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Grats on 100k! Keep up the awesome work! You might take a look at the SLS Elite for a 6 string variant. Might not be quite up your alley but I've been daily driving it for about 4 months now and it lets me have fun all over the place. I got it for more of a metal/rock machine but it replaced my strat quickly for blues tones because the neck just feels soooo good. If you're interested I don't mind loaning mine since you're less than an hour away. Cheers

Congratulations!!! I think I have been watching you since you had 40K! I love your stuff man. Keep it up! I think I would rather have the KM7 MKIII.
I'd keep the Evertune model! Or take the fishmans out of the merrow & put them on the Evertune model!
🤔 yes , yes I'd do that!

I would love to have the km7 thats been my dream guitar for quite a while. Banshee is awesome but I love that km.
I know which one I'd pick :)
Lol, I would hope so!
I've got the white hybrid in 6 and 7. Sickest guitars I've ever played!!!!!!

True, can't argue with science

Great vid man and congrats on 100k!

Love the aluminum inlays. I still love my hard reliced 90's MIJ Ibanez RG7660. Beat but plays like butter
I would keep the KM7, but mostly because he's a huge influence on me and the main reason I got into 7 strings, and it plays absolutely amazingly.
That's a sick rig. Would support a lifetime of heavy riffs and big smiles

I went for the SLS Elite 7 over this, main reason being the gloss finish on the SLS being a bit more hardwearing. Both great guitars though.
