You asked so I'll tell you. I do have the back up system in my Ford. Sometimes I use it and sometimes I don't, but when I do use it, it works flawlessly. It's like anything else though, you have to practice with it a few times before deploying that feature in the field, lol. Good vid man.
So for any and all newbies out there wanting to back any trailer up, all you need to do is grip the steering wheel at the bottom and turn it the way you want the trailer to go. Want it to turn left then you move your hand to the left. Right move your hand to the right. Easy Peasy.
I've driven trailers most of my life and just kept my hand on top of the steering wheel and trained my brain to reverse the direction. I have never thought or heard of putting my hand on the bottom. Genius! 😂
Hello Friends, Boating Enthusiasts, & Supporters Of The CCC: CC, Thank you sir for a terrific video sir !!! I'm glad you were able to get the movements of that large center console on video. Your documentation & narration was pitch perfect. I was so inspired by your video I called the owner & yes the vessel was equipped with the auto docking option however the software that runs the docking system was made by Tesla. He informed me that this is his 3rd boat since the previous 2 went up in flames. Now he's in litigation with Tesla + his insurance company. Well we all know that Tesla's run a little hot 🔥. Terrific video sir, thank you again & God Bless to you and your family, TMP from N.J. 😊😊😊.
I watched a guy recently on the South Carolina coast with a big 4 engine boat with bow thrusters leave the dock with the thrusters doing their thing and the motors doing theirs.. Crazy cool technology…
Lol I used that backup system on my ford a few times when I first got the truck. Maybe I am old school, but backing down a ramp is just not that difficult to need a system dedicated to backing up.
I agree about the Ford back up steering knob, if you need one, sell your shit! Plus I don't think there is a poor man's version of that monster of a boat.
no F-150 automatic backup for me !! I enjoy backing up first of all, second of all, have a travel trailer and a boat, so I'd have to pick one or change the set up each time.. rather go old school..
Why did the credit card captain sell his boat and truck?? Is he pooling his money together for a bigger boat in the near future? Also, if that guy has the money for a $1 million boat, he should have the money for a slip in a marina.
Speaking of doing damage with one of these boats of this size it’s so much more mass and weight moving in the water that even the slightest bump into something can really do some serious damage it’s just a whole Nother animal when you start dealing with boats that are +25+30 feet Get into one of these 8 to 12 foot beam 40 to 60 foot bucks and it does not take much at all to really tear some stuff up and you can get yourself hurt if you’re used to running smaller boats where you can reach out and catch it on the dock I learned this the hard way and went to catch a 38 foot Cigarette needless to say I couldn’t stop it and it squished my ass up in between the dock bad habits but my intention was good lol
That’s a f350 single wheel, rated for 22,500. As big as it seems that boat is only 13,500 pounds and a trailer weighing in at roughly 2,800. Well within the rating. I am not a Ford fan but a Ram owner however that Ford would drag that boat on 6 flat tires. Just saying!!!!
@East Texas Engineering The concern is not 6 flat tires but when something goes wrong. A load weighing 3 times what the tow vehicle weighs, that boat is gonna go where that boat wants to go in an emergency. Tow capability is always interesting. Payload is the whopper. It might be rated for it if spec'd correctly. My money says it's not.
@@Bubbles99718 I understand your analogy but that’s not how tow rating are built in a vehicle. Tow rating are set by the vehicles Braking, tire rating and payload. The same to be said why a Volvo semi weighing only 21,000 pounds can tow a massive 70,000 trailer, the eight 16 ply tires on the back and the brakes on the truck will support that load. Trust me it seems odd but it’s well within the means.
2:44 Even without computerized control any boat with twin engines should be able to maneuver in any direction and orientation. If that's a hired crew they should be fired immediately.
You would think that the quad of motors would turn in the same direction instead of two pushing in one direction and the other two pushing in the other direction. Just stupid.
If you can afford all those motors and that big boat, why do you trailer it to a public launch, instead of mooring it at a marina? More money than brains or else a huge debt payment every month!
'My wife dreams of girth like that' 😂😂😂😂😂
In the immortal words of CSW - Giggiddy!
Ikr😂
Came here looking for this lol
Sure would have loved to see the return and load it up. And pull it out of the ramp. Nice CCC.
I have it somewhere. It was a huge boat

Thanks CCC! I’m doing what I can to help you get that boat!
You remember the good old days when the freaks only came out at night😂😂😂
And were not spokes persons for beer
Speaking of the good ole days. Mom would NOT have let you leave the house looking like that.
Great catch CCC ⚓️💰💰💰💸💸 Hoping to hear great news about a new truck & boat pretty soon🎉
Just enough boat to float the motors ! 🤣🤣
Positive thinking brother! You'll have a boat like that first one. As for the girth... god gave you all you can manage! Keep up the good work!!!
Lmao

Money don’t jiggle jiggle, 😂
His drain plug puts itself in.
And the boat loads itself onto the trailer.
Thumbs up for spreadies and wild ramp cosplay
You crack me up,,,,I’m addictive to your channel
500$ in Gas for a 4 hrs boat ride! Sick..
That boat belongs in a marina not on a trailer
Ummm per engine.....lol
If ya got it, spend it.
Buddy I'd say a bit more than that
@@oldbroad7672yeah you can’t be buried with your money might as well use it now
That must be the poor man’s version! He’d be drooling over my 17’ Lowe roughneck 😂

"my wife dreams of that girth" friggin hilarious!!!!
Here from LackLuster and I love your channel!
Pulling a boat that size etc. is crazy!!
That a hella boat!
What a huge boat and it has four powerful engines that suck gas like it's going out of style.
Those motors are the lipenhizer horses of the marine world.
Definitely the poor man’s version 😂
That's right, it's not a Midnight Express with quint 450Rs
Looking at that makes me feel my escalade is a gas sipper.
That's awesome

Damn that thing is pretty.

I’ve never seen engines do that in the back before. I wonder how it rides out in the water. What was that about with the lady in a cap? 😳✌️👍
That thing can dock and turn on a dime - the guy driving it clearly hasn't practiced enough with it.
Your dry sarcastic wit makes this channel...btw..how much for that big boy all in...just guess..🇺🇸🏴✌
I've had a 2016 and 2021 F150 with the trailer backup systems. I tried to use it, but for me it's just easier to do it on my own. I hated it.
A spring line would have made that a lot more graceful, hook it on the dock and use it to lever yourself in.
"Spring line? What's a spring line?"- Florida Man
@@jeffrandolf5673 we use autum and fall lines here only.
Two great examples of things that will never be figured out, and frankly do not need to be...they just exist.
That's a beautiful boat, but I'd rather have that Action Craft all day.
2:47 "This must be the poor man's version." Hey, it's Credit Card Captain, not Credit CardS Captain.
Quads and a Radar. He's running out to the bahamas.

I think the autodock option is only on the model with five motors.
im not understanding how the outdrives can be manipulated in opposing directions.
will read further about this feature.
That boat belongs in a marina
ANOTHER EPISODE OF DOCK PANSIES!!!
I wanted a boat like that, but my wife said 'If I brought home just One more piece of junk...'
For all the quad jiggy jigging he still made hard work of pulling in , skills are like happiness hard to buy sometimes

All that money and no fenders
Where is the end of the video
As much as the boat costs, im sure he can afford it lol
I make good money, enough to afford one of those motors.
No way that truck is rated to tow that
new powerstroke diesel has a 20K max tow. Boat probably comes in around 17-18K.

@@easttexasengineering3489 just googled the boat. As rigged, around 19k, then the trailer....
Which is probably more than 4k.

I'm pretty sure that boat is too wide to legally tow it down the road without meeting the
requirements of an oversize load!!
4 engines and you still need electronic assistance to maneuver? The fun is developing the skill for the computer in your head to do the job.
"The poor man's version" of a $1 Million dollar boat. Dude!!! that is an oxymoron for sure. Nice looking boat though. Be safe.

Even if i had a gazillion dollars id still be happier on a jon boat with a 15 hp Johnson. People are more honest too.
I thought I wouldn't see anything crazier than a guy that can't joystick a boat to the dock, and then it happened.
