I never watch RUclips vids over 15 minutes long but I watched this and enjoyed every minute. I have a daughter and this made me smile and tear up a few times. Proud Dad moments and you can see how much Lena loves her daddy and she's a strong young woman because the love her parents give her. Bravo Jerry.
I have a great respect for Mr. Miculek. Not just because he is a great shooter but how he became who he is today. He pursued his passion and dedicated his life perfecting his skill and continue to do so. I never met the man but it seems like he is a great family man too. It is very hard to balance your passion and family life but he managed both very well.

You're SO right on the subject of picking brass, recycling lead, casting bullets, testing gunpowders, shooting, picking brass etc. And it's SO much fun! I've been at it for 30 odd years and the weird thing is it's just getting more fun as time passes. The entire process is fab! Shooting without trying to create yor own loads... well... meh. Of course you buy factory ammo plenty of it, but the joy is the complete process! Get Some!

I love this family! Spending time together and shooting is great, but the way they get along while working is awesome. My sons and I love to shoot together, but the level of shooting in this family is amazing. Every time I watch them I see something I want to try! Keep pushing the envelope!

First of all, Lena is adorable. I have tremendous respect for the whole family and their achievements. My daughter was a competitive shooter in high school, and it is always so much fun to spend time on the range with her. She’s an only child, and at 28 years old, she is a fundamentally solid and safe shooter. I’m also proud that she can work on her own car. It’s amazing to me that she has so many similar qualities that Lena exhibits, especially a strong sense of curiosity. I say again, much respect for this family!

3rd generation of champion shooters. Her maternal grandfather, Jim Clark, Sr., was a champion bullseye shooter and a builder of fine firearms. I remember his shop off Old Mansfield Rd in Keithville and shooting at the old Caddo Rifle and Pistol Club on Jones Mabry Rd. in North Shreveport, before they moved to Princeton. When work and play intersect, that is the good life.
It’s wonderful to watch the Sun come up! Most of the time I was in a deer stand! Now I’ve got up early for yrs but I watched the sun come up driving to work!
my father passed when I was 30 but what I will always cherish is our time in the woods and at the range together so these videos mean much more than just shooting

In todays world with so much hate and confusion, it is fantastic to be able to just kick back and watch something as good and wholesome as this! I only have one regret in this life, I have never had the opportunity to meet Mr. Miculek and his great family. I was in a training session in Camden Tennessee while I was going through chemo therapy. A young man asked during one of our breaks how he could learn to be as fast as Jerry Miculek. I looked at him and said somethings can't be taught but you can always be the best you can be with hard work. James Yeager whom I was sitting next to looked at the young man and said, the truth is some things are a gift from God, and Jerry Miculek is one of them. I have to admit I don't think I have ever heard a more true statement. Thanks Mr. Miculek for sharing that gift with us, you are always an inspiration. Lena while you will carry out the family legacy and have done such a great job at it, you bring new blood to an age old sport and breathe that energy into it that only such a talented young woman can do! What an awesome family!

Jerry, and Lena, been practicing on drills most from your channel. A Veteran friend of mine had a competition at his ranch here in AZ this last weekend. 3 different drills for time. No class separation. Shoot what you have. Out of the 14 of us that showed up I got 3rd with a stock Springfield XD subcompact.45 acp. The guy I beat for 3rd by half a second had a Glock with all the upgrades! You are truly correct, it's not the gun or gadgets, it's the person behind the gun! Keep up the great work!!!!
That's such a beautiful story and beautiful lives y'all live, I really hope me and my father can get along before he passes away, he taught me how to shoot he taught me how to drive a stick shift, I started shootin really young probably eight or nine years old with my little 410 shotgun taught me how to drive a stick in a cow pasture when I was 13.
What a life philosophy, from a father & mother who instilled this in to their family, and applied it to an extreme! As parent I am sure they beam with pride that Lena is her own! Doing it with respect, passion and drive to be the best they can be! Even better, continuing a family legacy, and sharing it with the world. God Bless you all!

I grew up in West Columbia TX, used to hunt with Prihoda in Damon. Used to have beers after at the beer joint on the corner of 36 and old Damo rd. That was in late mid to late 70s.. I digress... I heard of Jerry, then started watching him ,around 80 something on a sports show.. I watched Bob Mundon also about the same time. God bless you and your loved ones Get Some.
With all the garbage we are bombarded with daily it was so refreshing to watch something so informative, wholesome and insiring ! One of the first things I have watched in a while that I felt genuinly better after watching it. More of this type of content PLEEEEEEEEZ!!!
