The great thing about Lena is she doesn't have a lot of weight or super huge muscles, so everything she does is all about technique. She is also an excellent teacher!
I have been watching videos from several different instructors, but they all fail to mention one thing: Slightly bend your arms sideways to mitigate upward recoil. This is the one thing that i was missing which made me re-aim after everyshot no matter how hard i gripped or locked my wrist. Lena is a godsend. This single video along with the proper grip is all you need to practice to maintain aim and stance after firing a round. Thank you, Lena. I am actually angry at Tactical Hyve for never mentioning this. It's like teaching someone how to build a house without showing them how to build the foundation...
This is definitely the best video on shooting I've seen. I recently took a friend to the range who's never even held a gun and I used this and it truly helped!
Her explanations on recoil management is superb and actually is very simular to percussion.. whereas drumming your controlling the recoil/rebound ... she using simular techniques.. making me thing why didnt i ever think about some of these tips or try them out 😅😂.. lastly sharing her secrets which have led to her sucess at the range is extreemly humble and helpful!
Great tips!! You make it seem so natural, and I guess if you practice regularly, the stance and posture will become natural. Thanks for taking the time to help us get better.
So true about muscles squeezing but not releasing. Took me a long time to figure that out in my riding of horses especially in dressage. So many similarities in upper body position and core management in this video I connected with directly because of my riding. Lena you are amazing. Would love to learn from you as I'm a total beginner. Cheers from Vancouver, Canada.
I recently bought a tactical pump shotgun and I'm barely getting familiar shooting and loading it. I'm very impressed in how Lena controls herself and shots the fire arms like it's very accurate. Love it! 👍😁
3:45 when I rode dirt bikes as a kid, the same elbow technique applied. The Moto cross racers, keep their elbows up, for best control. Elbows down = bad.
I can't imagine a better, more-detailed breakdown of the elements of taking a proper, effective stance, along with something I hadn't considered: focusing not on the pulling of the trigger, but the release.
That's why it's best to learn from a woman. Men can use brute strength and get away with it without using proper technique. Women don't have the same luxury. They have to use proper technique to accomplish the same thing. Plus Lena is a damn good teacher. Very thorough and explains all aspects of what she's talking about. And I'm sure it didn't hurt to have the world Champion as a father.
Have to love Lena, she's just so good at explaining things!!! Great tips and explained rellay well! And also is a joy for the eye, which doesen't hurt!
the elbow technique is awesome.. Been shooting for a long time but not actually used that method. Been using it for a few months now and it's super useful
Nice job. It totally makes sense about how you need to start with your weight on the balls of your feet not neutral. I've been guilty of that. Also love the comment about liking the violence of the shotgun blast. Me too.
Excellent content and delivery, you're a great speaker and the way you describe how and most importantly, why, you do what you do is very easy to understand. The only thing I can say is please consider either no background music or at the very least turn it down some.
WOW, Your my idol Lena and your dad Jerry Miculek so much, i love to have a souvenier from both of you, i'm from Philippines, can i have your shirt if possible 🙏❣️🙏 Father and daughter you're the best!
This lady obviously knows her stuff. From this video, to me, best thing to do is break down every action into small steps and work on those, then begin moving from step to step.
First time today and I went with an instructor. He showed me the proper grip and finger placement but that was it. I did destroy the red circle so I guess it was enough.
Hello, I'm Jeff, and WOW! Some great info on your stance for shooting your Pistol and recoil Management! I noticed you put your Left Index and Middle finger on the front of the trigger guard. Can you give me some Info on this technique? Thanks.
Thank you, Lena. I noticed that you're gripping around and in front of the trigger guard with your support hand. Would you kindly let me know what pistol you're shooting?
I have never seen anyone put 2 fingers over the trigger guard before. I was always taught not to. I never had a tendency to do that anyways but I did see someone who never held a gun before put one finger over the trigger guard when hold them and aiming them (empty). I told the person that is not how to hold a gun and not how I was taught and told by several people not to hold that way. Anyone else have a finger or two over the trigger quard? Why? I imagine to help with recoil control? Aim? I guess what ever is comfortable.?
@Jim Weck II she has a video out on her father's channel I believe that explains her hand and finger placement to detail. Its been too long to remember since I have seen it. I shoot a 1911 .357sig so any bit to help tame recoil I am on it.
The great thing about Lena is she doesn't have a lot of weight or super huge muscles, so everything she does is all about technique. She is also an excellent teacher!
What a great teacher. She really knows her stuffs and more importantly knows how to transfer the knowledge to the audience. Natural teacher.
Possibly the best video I've seen on recoil management.
I'm a newer weapon owner and have found fantastic value from Lena and her Dad's vids.
lena!!! such a good instructor and speaker
Impressed with not only your skills, but your ability to teach!
Thank you for the video!
Always something to learn from Lena! Great teacher & shooter.

What an outstanding example of proper technic, not only teaching us how but the WHY! Do you teach live classes, where can I find them?
I honestly get more from Lena than from her Dad! Love your videos.
Lena, you and your Dad, the best ever!! Thanks for all your videos!

Lena, you make me a better firearm instructor!!! You are awesome!!! Thank you!
Great lesson... I feel like I learn so much every time I watch you!!
I have watched a lot of videos on recoil management and this one is by far the best.
Great tips!! You make it seem so natural, and I guess if you practice regularly, the stance and posture will become natural. Thanks for taking the time to help us get better.
This is a great explanation of the shooting basics and more. Thank you. I have sent this to my daughters!!!

Thanks Lena! as a 20+ year firearms instructor I learned a few things from your video. Well done and very impressive. Keep up the great work!
That shotgun looks larger than Lena. Wow she can can manage that shotgun! I'm very impressed.
OH YEAH
Weighs more than her, too. She's a little little thing. Probably all of 5 foot nothing, 105lb
What kind of shotgun is that?
Ms. Miculek has thought through recoil management. Good information. Thanks

Thank you Lena for sharing your huge experience. A big hug from a Brazilian admiror of your work.
Awesome lesson! Thanks Lena.
I am in love! Especially when she said shotgun was her favorite because it was the most violent. STAY VIOLENT!

I'm not a super big guy so I LOVE LOVE LOVE all the recoil management tips I can get! Thanks!! (And I just bought a shotgun.) :-)

Great video and awesome breakdown of recoil 👍🏾👍🏾
Its so motivating to see how dedicated she is to the craft thank you. Effortlessly beautiful too.
Nice video - surprised it does not have more views. I like showing my 10 year old daughter Lena's videos - they give her inspiration.
We will be releasing more Lena videos every month so keep following the page.

Excellent instruction
Another great video Lena. GOD bless. 🙏✝️
Great information. I would consider turning the volume on the music down just a smidgen.
Amazed at how well controlled both of those were. Looked like you were shooting .22's even though I'm sure you weren't.
This was outstanding,, thank you
Totally awesome
excellent tips! thanks so much
Someone needs to high-five Jerry, he did a great job. I love the presentation, and Lena is easy on the eyes.

Hello, I'm Jeff, and WOW! Some great info on your stance for shooting your Pistol and recoil Management! I noticed you put your Left Index and Middle finger on the front of the trigger guard. Can you give me some Info on this technique? Thanks.
She can shoulder fire a 5 round mag of 50bmg in like 2 seconds so I’d say trust her technique without question
thanks! ❤
Thank you, Lena. I noticed that you're gripping around and in front of the trigger guard with your support hand. Would you kindly let me know what pistol you're shooting?
Thanks, Lena
You are an amazing girl and a cool shooter 😊
What is the music in background? It's pretty relaxing and cool
Thank you
I am so glad there are other people who's first pick was a shotgun because it was "the most violent" lol. In performance and in damage hehe
Great video, like all of them that she does
Such an impressive young lady.
awesome
Hi, I live in Las Vegas. Where could I take classes with you?.

How about grip? Any advice? First time seeing anyone have 2 fingers of weak hand around trigger guard.
I wanna be like her when I grow up ❤️🔥
She's gold!
Great
What kinda shotgun were you shooting in this video training on recoil stance
Mossberg jm940
You don't do the push/pull method?
You’re the best 🫶
