- Welcome to my review of the new limited edition D23 exclusive Hercules and Megara Designer doll set. This is my first review from the d23 dolls, I was able to bring them in my luggage as I always wanted take them out of the box anyway. It’s a stunning set and we finally have a Hercules doll, even if he is not the 17” scale we all wished for, still pretty perfect. Hope you enjoy my unboxing!

Hercules DESERVES to be a classic Disney Store doll by himself!
I say fat chance, Disney is so stingy with the male dolls. 😣
I bet they will. They did Aladdin. He’s not always available but he was for a little bit. Same with Kristoff. I bet we will see Hercules appear for a little bit. No way they’d go through trouble of making this entire sculpt ONLY for this.

I love this set, they both look amazing. The outfits are spectacular. I wish Meg's dress was detailed on the back. 13:20 I love how it's a lion and on the other side his Pegasus. 13:41 those are the Titans! I love his design

I love them!!! Meg looks so beautiful, I love how the top looks like a corset and an armor at the same time, meaning that’s she’s strong in her own delicate way

Hercules is hottt lol. The gold bands around his arms… ugh. Whoever designed him knew what they were doing lol ;)

Will you be reviewing Jasmine?? I’ve seen Jasmine in person and she is absolutely STUNNING!!! I think video might show her off better because the photos I’ve seen do not capture the glitz, sparkle, and glitter shimmering throughout Jasmine’s makeup, hair, and embroidered & bejeweled gown.
She is absolutely stunning, I will definitely be reviewing her the moment she arrives 🙏🏽
I really hope they do one of Milo and Kida together, I would love that. Maybe for their 25th anniversary

I ADORE this set, Hercules looks so good and i like that these two have non movie inspired colors.
That's a lot of sculpting and tooling they had to do to make that Hercules doll. I never thought about the fact that the original Mattel Hercules dolls were the only true dolls of him (I have 3). I really hope the next time Disney makes a round of the male dolls (since they're not always available) they include Herc as a playline doll.

Excellent review on our shining heroes of Greece and Olympus! The designs on Hercules’s armor are the titans that he defeats at the climax of the movie. Let’s hope that Hercules might have a classic doll to go along with his elegant damsel! 🏛💜✨

i agree he looks much better then 90s mattel one one reasons i never bought him i was younger that and was more fan of 90s kevin sabo one live action hercules from 90s not by disney when was younger i alwayswanted 90s vision with kevin as hercules as doll but if disney store make hercules for classic line i might get him he can hangout with meg and xena
Wish I could afford this one on the second hand market. We rarely get Hercules dolls and this one is gorgeous. The Meg is great too, but we already got very similar.

I own the dolls from 1997 and see that Mattel used a brand new body and head for this new set

For 300 dollars, Meg could have had embroidery in the back of her skirt or a full purple skirt behind. I don't accept those cut outs in a 300 dollars set. It's unacceptable.

My only complaint about Hercules is that his head isn’t a ball joint on the neck. Why do they always make the guys heads rotate at the base of the neck? It never looks good.
Disney needs to release a classic Hercules doll in stores

I was very surprised when I saw this set, I thought everyone else ( Snow, Jas, Giselle, Merri, Anna, Elsa ) was all they were doing until I saw them.
With our first Hercules doll ( by Disney Store, of course ) I'll finally have the chance to call him ' Hercules ' ( take ' Circles ', and replace the ' C ' with an ' H ', then you have ' Hercules ' ( Hircles )). It's such a funny way to say his name! 🤣
Meg is gorgeous as always, and her new character is still in the works, can't wait to finally show the world My Little Pin-up Gal! 💜
I waited in line for 6 hours for mine. lol Im not going to unbox them I dont think, nice to see this video. The marbling on the box always scares me that its crinkled lol

Thanks for this review. This set is superb and very gorgeously done. No doubt it's a must have in a collection, if we have the opportunity of course. By the way, may I ask you a question. I was thinking about going to the D23 next year. As an experienced collector like you, approximately how much would a budget hotel, pass, food for 3 days per person cost?

It was released at D23 expo in September and it sold out, it was exclusive to the event only.
