So much smarter than a huge shower closet that takes up vertical space! Our first pop-up had a similar set-up and we loved how it was there if we needed it but wasn't in the way when we weren't using it.

This is the most innovative way to save space and not have to sacrifice a shower that I’ve seen in a van build.
Shoe storage when not in use!
@@NoZenith I dont think you would want to store shoes in a humid place, also there is better things to store there, like the toiled for example.
@@fabriciooliveira3720I don't think you're going to put shoes away in a wet shower. You're also not going to put away your shower curtain and close up a wet box in your home. This shouldn't take long at all to dry and if it's not dry you just leave the top off until it is

I really like the shower closet better only because of the fact that if you put a portable toilet in there it feels more like a private space to use but the build is beautiful either way and if it works for you that's amazing

You need a clip for the faucet head to attach while showering.
I would permanently install the shower head and use a diverter when I'm ready to take a shower. Also keeping your hair very very short is a good idea for low maintenance.
Looks convenient. If alone, I would leave the shower curtain up so the bench conversion didn't need to be removed. How/where does the water drain out? How fast?

As nice as the van showers that are permanent look and obviously not have to set it up seems nice at first but this set gives you the option to still have the space that a permanent shower space would take up. Also out of all the showers that are more like yours doesn't seem nearly as easy as your set up look really nice great job!!

This is the greatest shower ive seen so far for inside but for a truck camper i would recommend those pop up shower tents that just folds into itself. Then a portable shower with its built in battery the battery lasts 30 showers and chargers fast

Where do you get the hardware ?
Is using a retractable silicon doable? Like those pet bowls that you can flatten. Idk how to explain it but what if you have a pop socket shower the height of your now under-cushion mini tub that goes behind a full-sized door closet? When you use it, just swing the closet and use it as a door, pop to expand the shower tub, attach the curtains as is. That way you can get a bigger shower that eats up a few inches of space behind a closet when not in use. I might be crazy but if given the chance to make my own van build, i would def consider it. But i really hope you consider my idea so I could see if it's doable 😂😁

I wonder how big is your water tank and how many liters would you say you're using for a shower ?
Can't answer 4 them. W/ short hair > hirsute body I can shower Twice w/ a gallon hand-pumped garden sprayer by throwing my dirty clothes on floor > standing on same to absorb H2O. Do I 'miss' sumtymz & squirt vehicle? Yep. Next handy li'l device is a professional yardman's battery-operated sprayer. If I Wuzn't So Lazy I'd affix small 12VDC TIRE INFLATOR to jug.

A very cool shower idea!
That green fuzzy stuff on the wall will collect dust over time. Looks nice now but not in the long run.
The green stuff appears to be a vinyl print.
The green stuff looks like artificial turf but could be a print or a painting technique.

If I shower everyday, i have to do all these steps everytime. Remove cushions..... Put it all back after...
