- OK, Gang, here’s a video of the recent arrival and unboxing of my original 1929 Boeing 100 Roy Rehm has been working on for 30 YEARS since it was damaged in Hurricane Andrew.
OMG, I didn’t realize how old I and these other old MFs (plus a kid) were and looked! But, please realize . . . that we’re ALL kids at heart!
Pour yourselves a drink, sit back, help us unload it, and, please, keep any "peanuts gallery" comments to yourself as to our techniques!

You have a wonderful group of people working with you Kermit!
My gosh Roy did an amazing job on the beautiful Airplane......Thanks Kermit & crew 👍
Old Shoe🇺🇸
Congratulations, Mr. Weeks! I know your glad to have it home, after 30 years!
An amazing coincidence that driver Buddy Chapman, after this delivery, was going back out to pick up Dreadnought; an airplane with which I have a small but significant connection. "I'm actually feeling some lift!" made me laugh out loud... that must be one helluva wing. What a beautiful airplane; I've enjoyed following the restoration. Hope to see it at Sun & Fun. Also hope that you're finding time to fly between all the plates you have spinning. Thanks as always for sharing.
Boy is that one gorgeous machine, she’s a keeper.
The aviation version of "The History Guy". Thank you Kermit. Now that I am living in Florida I must visit FoF again soon.👍👍
Looks like a pristine job done there. Immaculate and sharp and gorgeous.
I did some of the detail paint work on this plane. I also did the artwork on 3 of the other planes Roy Rehm is building. It was such an honor and privilege to work with Roy and see what it takes to build these stunning planes. Roy's work is something to be seen.
Nobody does an unboxing like Kermit. What a cool and rare machine that 100 is!
A little bigger unboxing than I am used to, (8 foot wing span).
WHAT A STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL AEROPLANE !!--AND THAT BEAUTIFUL ENGINE !!--I COULD LOOK AT FOREVER ! --AND WHAT A WONDERFUL CREW,-THAT CERTAINLY "KNOW THEIR OATS"-
You definitely got a very beautiful airplane back home. She looks stunning. 👍
What a beautiful aircraft! So glad it could be saved. Now to put the wind beneath its wings!
It would be nice to see her flying again. Glad to see her back at FOF where she belongs.
A beautiful plane from a bygone era. Fantastic! Can't wait for Kermi to take it up with a camera and give us all a ride. Salute o7!
I had a spectacular collection of aircraft when I was a young man, one that rivaled Kermit's. Perfectly detailed to the tiniest wire scale models. 😂
Kermit is beyond belief, not only owning or curating these aircraft, but flying them too. I can't begin to imagine the number of endorsements in his log. Alas, I will continue to live vicariously through these videos.
Thanks for another great video Kermit. It was interesting.
Beautiful aircraft Kermit. Very nice.
Everyone did a great job in loading it. Got it all unloaded and in the building. Great.
Hope to see it fly in the relatively near future. Wonderful aircraft. Thanks.
Retired Air Force veteran.
Absolutely beautiful machine...
Really, Kermit perform an unboxing as a "Le etat d'art"
An artist for sure.
gday from oz,what a machine its looks like its movin when its stood still.fantastic resto, congrats.
Congrats on this beautiful bird. I volunteered at POF Chino for several yrs non A&P but lent helping hand. I appreciate the history of your restoration team & POF. Hope see fly soon.
What an awesome looking aircraft, they sound awesome too.
Never thought I'd be so enthralled with watching a video of them unboxing an aircraft but yet here I am and I agree with Kermit that's not a plane that is a piece of art, What a Beautiful biplane!
That is one beautiful plane.
My god what a beautiful machine.
Just freaking FANTASTIC!
Beautiful bird!
What a beautiful Machine!
What a Beauty ! WOW 😍👍
That is a Beautiful Plane! I like the Color!
Wow, what a beautiful plane!
That upper wing has been sitting so long, does it need a punch test? Absolutely a beautiful bird...
I had been wondering how this project was going, happy to finally get an update on it!
WOW That is a beautiful plane
Congrats over and over!
Gorgeous!!
Dang that's a beautiful plane!!
Stunning !
Great video Mr. Weeks! Gorgeous aircraft
This is the one I was waiting for, can't wait to see her fly!
Very cool plane, can't wait to see it flying.
I remember this ship in Miami..
Fantastic rebirth…
Terry&ThePirates South Florida
Two words, "Foam Pads!" Oh, good, I finally see them.
Toutes mes félicitations et tous mes encouragements ...C·est super de voir ça !!...
Kermit is the Jay Leno of aircraft.
Great to see you posting content again Wizzard.
Never stopped!
When I see the area I used to tour. That’s now the maintenance, storage. (As Kermit intended) I really want to get back to FL to see the new digs. I remember him talking about it.
I agree with Kermit it's a piece of art (valuable art 30 years in the making!) ...Beautiful
So so so cooool!
What a beautiful airplane!
This was great.! "We could just put it on the airplane..." FTW.
Kermit,
I love how you suggest what you want, by asking a question.
My lady does that. 😎
The Wizard of Orlampa never ceases to amaze. FOF is on my bucket list, and I'll gladly pay for a back, or right side ride with the maestro.
Kermit I know you were based in South FL for years, curious if you knew my uncle, Jim Hill, had a FBO at FLL in 70's - 80's. South Florida Aircraft. They specialized in Beagle 206's.
What a BEAUTIFUL project!!!!!!! Looking forward to the maiden!!!!!!!!
It certainly takes patience to have these flying machines restored!
Way cool Kermit ,made my day.😀
love the paint..
0:56 Guys standing in the hangar doorway: “Oh, kack, here comes another one, where are we gonna put it?” 😂
Dont worry Kermit Ive been restoring a kitchen table for 30 years
this isn't about you or a kitchen table
@@slowery43 I hope you feel better for belittling a total strangers comment. But hey now we know why the wife left you the kids wont talk to you and why the grandkids will never love you.
Thats the spirit of MADE IN USA ALWAYS POWERFUL
Man just the truck haul alone $$$$$$$$$$$
I remember hurricane Andrew vividly. I was in Miami by that time. 31 years ago. I can't believe how fast time runs.
A legend, a jewel of aviation. Nothing to add, just thanks for the great video.
I remember before Andrew you flew one of these to Richards field. we all watched you depart and how great it climbed out going toward Tamiami
Absolutely stunning! This aircraft looks like it is related to the P-12/F4B series....
Love that priceless antiques are being hauled around in a non-descript ratty looking old trailer. Nothing to see here folks, move along. Looking forward to the video of this old bird back in the sky here she belongs.
Fabulous.
Kermit, I would highly recommend you have 2 young guys for every 1 old timer in your shop. Just looking at it from an outsider's perspective, you've got about 5-10 more years out of your core team. What you're doing is so important, i'd hate to see the expertise retire.
Thanks for sharing, Kermit. Was that Frank Tallman's 100? What a great airplane - the history on that one is spectacular.
Gorgeous Boeing. A contender for the prettiest ever top 5 if ever there was. But, is that a Wirraway off to the side?
Kermit does so much for aviation history. So glad has shared alot of this footage
Finally!! lets hope we dont have to wait years to see it fly.
Kermit, you have some amazing air planes. Some day I would love to visit your museum.
Every time I see that twisted pile of Aircraft Anxiety in a flash back, my tummy does a bit of a flip. o~0 Andrew was not kind that day.
PARABÉNS PELA FILMAGEM, LINDO AVIÃO ANTIGO NOVINHO 👍👍 👏👏👏👏👏👏 🇧🇷
Absolutely art. ❤
Absolute airplane jewelry!
Ken was a bit of a worry on the forklift.
Wow Kermit you have a Wirraway!
Wonderful ! When may our family visit FoF ?
Check FoF website for Museum Lite seasonal opening dates.
Sweet!
Beautiful job 😂😂😂😂 6:08
Why was this amazing facility closed to the public years ago??
the cutest plane, ever?
It is gorgeous! Congratulations!
So refreshing to see it roll out of the trailer, compared to when we packed it into the container bak at WAM. I can't wait to see it again at SNF!
Wonder if the Lancaster will ever be restored ?
How many times will Kermit say, “Oh my god?” 😉
Are the spars solid, one piece, or are they built up box spars?
awesome
Hello Snoopy, your dog house has arrived.
Cool!
Next time you unload something like that, raise the tail...which will lower the front.
Hello Mr Weeks, Can you tell me your building location? It looks like a hanger at an old military base in Orlando. I can't remeber if it was McCoy AFB or McDill AFB. I came there from Tyndall AFB to change an engine on a T-33. It's good to see you keeping Boeing aircraft flying. I worked in experimental Testing with Boeing in Seattle. I looking forward to seeing your aircraft flying.
It’s Fantasy of Flight, my aircraft facility and attraction in Polk City Florida.
She's pretty ",,
Be proud
you should add the year to the head line for future looking back :)
It’s there! 10/23 - October, 2023!
Forget the un boxing, I want to see how they got it in that truck, lol.
They rolled in it on a loading dock.
@@KermitWeeks444makes sense, thx.
muito bom,
把爱好做成事业是一件幸福的事!另外:Bf-109 G6的进度怎么样了?期待Kemit飞她。
Touch down!
That's one big, heavy machine for a single-seater. Clearly not designed for ease of maintenance.
Is Mr. Weeks still letting folks see his display?
The man at one time was fantastic about opening up his facility off I-4..
I knew he went another direction as far as doing projects a while back and truth be told he kinda stayed out that other direction mentality & physically, but the collection, did it all get sold off? Or is it still available to educate some our mindless youth of today???
