I really loved the image additions. I’m a really visual person and recognising the Grey’s characters really put into perspective how intimidating it would be to have those people in the room! But also how rewarding when you ace it like you did! 🥳. As well as the types of sutures - I always find the medical information interesting 😁. I also appreciate that you eat pre-prepared food, flavoured drinks and microwaveable food! it’s so refreshing to know that convenience can also be healthy!! (Love the bread dipped in butter btw 😂)

I gotta say, I know nothing about medicine and am not pursuing medicine in any capacity at all but for some reason, I still absolutely love watching all of your videos! I first came across them in April of 2021 when my dad ended up in the hospital with Covid. It was the most terrifying time of my life and I found so much solace in watching you go through your journey in medical school. I learned so much from you and watched religiously until he finally got home 3 weeks later. Even once he returned home, I still found myself coming back and watching your videos! Haven't stopped since :)
So proud of how far you have come! I'm getting to the point my radiology program where we have to mock exams in front of our instructors and comp on actual patients, knowing how you just go for it in your field helps me just throw myself into my exams. Thank you!

I am a new OMS-1 and been struggling incredibly hard with med school so much, to the point where I've been seriously considering dropping out daily. This video reminded me why I got into this to begin with - to become an obgyn and have the amazing experiences that you talked about in this video.

The clinical part it's overwhelming but I can handle that more than the personal interactions from being new, trying to make good impressions, being empathetic to patients, and then going home to interact with kids and husband.... girl 😅
Hello Rachel. Sorry for being so far behind but my life is hectic caring for other people. Anyway, I had to chuckle when u were talking about suturing. Weren’t u still practicing on ur rubber thing this time last year? I remember ur saying once “I hope all this practice pays off”. While watching ur skin care routine I noticed u looked different. There is more of a quiet confidence around u. Went back and looked at a 1st year video and wow is all I can saw. U have grown right before r eyes. What a great journey this has been.

I applied just to one specialty. You can dual apply if you want. But I don’t want to go into anything else but OBGYN

Yes! You visibly see them in pain, and if they want something for pain, we can provide that for them. Patient has the choice :)
