It has been a while since I posted on RUclips but that is because my life has been extremely hectic lately! I got married/moved to Miami and I got a job in aesthetics! I am studying aesthetics and transitioning into this new specialty as a cosmetic injector. I am still working in the urgent care in the mean time to make some extra cash until I can go officially full time into the aesthetics field. I feel more and more comfortable performing botox and filler as each patient goes by. You can study the PowerPoints, do the courses but the bottom line is-- in order to feel more comfortable and gain confidence in the cosmetic industry you have to actually inject!

How did you decide PA over being an MD? I‘ve always thought I wanted to be a doctor but am now reconsidering
Just do PA if not sure.
Only do MD if you are sure. Try to shadow some and get a better idea. Because tbh you have to be prepared to take a lot of crap as a new grad PA. It's the same in residency though.
It gets better with time. And honestly evaluate what's holding you back. Best.
